Overall experience was good. My only complaint is that a 10 foot box truck that I had had some transmission issues. Transitioning from 2nd to 3rd gear was hard in either direction. The truck bucked like it would if someone was learning to drive a stick shift.

SHANDAI JJerome was phenomenal, highly professional, and proficient at his job. He was courteous, and did not waste a single minute making sure I had exactly what I needed, that the trailer was hitched properly and I was in and out the door expeditiously and a satisfied customer. I was lucky that he was there upon my return as well and he quickly got up to his feet, unhitched the trailer and set me off my way. Please ensure this young man is lauded on his professionalism and courtesy and assigned as a trainer for others. Kudos!

Demoyne WThis location has no parking for customers to leave there car for more then 15 minutes which is very inconvenient. I was told I would need to leave my car in town and walk along the side of a very busy highway with no sidewalk about 4 long blocks away from the store.

SAMUEL SOur location was moved last minute after I specifically booked another location... For a reason. We had to come here after attempting the other location and then come to find out we got the truck with a dead battery. 2 hours wasted due to the poor maintenance done on this truck. We got it to the place we were moving from and it was off for not even 2 hours before we were going to go move to the next place. But it died and despite reporting it was a battery issue the roadside assistance had to come and basically "wow yeah battery issue" and leave for over an hour to "go pick up a battery" after it took them 40 mins to arrive in the first place.
DAVID JAfter renting from U-Haul locations on many occasions, I learned the hard way that you will be charged a $50 fee for not folding the moving blankets when you return the truck. Maybe this is buried somewhere in the contract but I never knew, and got hit with the charge with no explanation. I called to speak with the manager and the employee took my info and said he’d put it on his desk.. I’m still waiting to hear back. $50 for 5 minutes of work of folding blankets is insane. I will drive over to the location and fold 24 blankets in order to get the charge removed. If I’d known about the expectation, I would’ve followed it. You guys should do a better job of informing customers of potential pitfalls instead of just blindsiding them with extra charges after the fact. I will not be giving you my business again, especially with Home Depot offering quality box trucks instead of the crap that I had on the last rental.
MICHAEL NI put gas in the truck $20 and was charge for 3 gals I only drove 30 miles. I don’t think it cost 9 gallons of gas to go about 30 miles. I said something to the employee and they argue I should’ve taken a picture before I left. Maybe they should’ve. I was told about the text while I was there. I also had to get them to add windshield wipers fluid before I left, it was empty. Poor customer service and upkeep on equipment. I rented a van afterwards and bringing back today, but this will be the last time I rent from here.
ANTHONY Hworse customer service from folks at this location. Rented Uhaul Toy Hauler. I needed it for 24hrs. I rented at 10.45am but the gentleman, said some has reservation for the same equipment at 10.30 am the next morning so I should bring it early. Because of this he made the return time 7pm on the same 1st of January I rented it. Unfortunately, bad weather, I could not return on the 1st, I return the 2nd at 10am, they charge me another day for coming late, and also because of the snow dust on the trailer he wanted to charge me $35 for cleaning but another guy who gave his name as Jaylen, said he should charge $50 for cleaning instead of $35 the first guy who also gave his name Jordan or so. They ended charging additional day, and $50 for cleaning meanwhile I requested for 24hrs, they charge me for 24hr I return within 23hrs. What hurt is the way they talk to customers, I am not sure if Uhaul train their staff to talk to customers disrespectfully for renting from Uhaul, for you Uhaul to use the same money to pay them their salary.
EMMANUEL MReserved the equipment online yet had to wait 15 minutes to be serviced at the facility as there wax only one person working the counter. another person who was wandering around the yard doing chores finally came in and assisted me.
Darren BNo improvement needed. Easy location to access, helpful and knowledgeable staff, plenty of accessories for people to choose from as needed. I rented a 1-way car carrier trailer. It was heavier than I thought it would be but my tow vehicle had no problems with it over the 300+ mile distance. I don't know if a ball mount with a lower drop would've worked better - I saw that U-Haul sells them, including adjustable drop mounts.
JAMES DWas charged extra due to personell not being helpful. Return was late by 5-10 mins and personell was not helpful intentionally so they could charge for extra less than 30 mins due to their delay to help

ROBERT NExperience with aggressive and contentious gentleman at other Laurel location was not pleasant nor acceptable. Called from +1 (240) 568-0072 with an extremely negative behavior and demeanor. Will NEVER recommend location for business or service.
DELANTE MBe careful renting from the Laurel location at 10150 Washington Blvd. It seems that the employees let folk rent off the books when you have safemove and charge you for any damage many days after you return the equipment. Take pictures of your return. They have shady practices here.

DAIN CI was charged a $25 cleaning fee and when I called you question about it no one talk to me or were there any pictures available as to why a cleaning fee job this is an ongoing thing at locations in the state mall specially as the Baltimore, I will now see my truck for other agencies

EDUARDO FThe manager and the staff for that store is a crook. They charge my card twice and gave me misleading information. They told me after the 24 hours is up, they will give us an hour grace period on the sunday when we picked the truck up which that was a lie. That hour that the said it was on the Monday when we brought the truck back , the manager said the grace period is 40 minutes and that result in charging up for an additional day. This is the WORSE LOCATION EVER!!!!

THERESA DWould be nice if there was a drop box for key returns (or better signage if there was one). I waited in line for a while to return keys with only one staff member at the counter. However, the person at counter was very professional and courteous on check out and check in.
