STEVEN WThe location was convenient and the truck was clean, but the traction of the tires was poor. One of the tires went off the road onto the dirt (dirt was dry, not mud), and it could not be moved back onto the road; the tire just spun. It required hours of waiting and $450 to have a tow truck come. Thank goodness it wasn't raining or snowing! I would not trust those tires at all.

Julia HI will never use U-Box again. In fact, I hope to never use U-Haul again. Despite my repeated attempts to verbally clarify, I was never given proper information on where my boxes would be shipped. I asked the employee if they could be delivered to another U-Haul location for pick-up and he said yes. I asked for them to be delivered to the Santa Monica, CA location but when I received my paperwork it had a different location in Los Angeles as the delivery address. I asked in person multiple times if it was going to Santa Monica or the Los Angeles address and was told Santa Monica. I even called the general 1-800 number to speak with a rep and they told me the same thing. It wasn't until it was ready to be picked up in Los Angeles that I finally got someone to clarify that the Los Angeles address was the only available pick-up location. A phone representative told me I would be able to access and load the u-boxes in a secured location. There was NO secure location. It was a street alley in of the highest crime sections of all Los Angeles. I was loading my stuff with people walking and driving by. The reps at all locations were friendly but I blame the overall corporation for allowing this level of confusion regarding U-boxes. This was a terrible experience and costly. I would have been better off renting a truck and driving myself. Very, very disappointed.
Patrick BThe car towing dolly I reserved has a broken part. I had to use a full size a trailer instead, which is a bit challenging for me. But at least the staff didn't charge me extra.

PAUL HThe customer service person I dealt with in person when I picked up the van was really pretty awful. He reeked of cigarette smoke, was obviously tired and didn't want to be there and was rude when I was trying to figure out the picture/dr. lic/cell thing. He did let me borrow 2 moving blankets from the back room when that was all I needed but damage was done. The person that checked me back in was much nicer and helped me out a lot though.
BRUCE CThere was will much place in the lot, yet I had to park my car on a street outside. The staff was rude and told me to go outside and find my own parking even though the lot was 90% empty
KARTHIK KI rented a van for two says. It was clean and ran nice. I only used the van for 20 miles for a doctor's appointment because of a leg injury. On returning the van It was raining hard so I asked if somebody could give me a ride home. There five workers standing around inside the U-hall building talking and all said they could not help me out. the bill was $117.00, and I also offered to pay for the ride. They said no. On the way I slipped in the rain and fell. A real nice man helped me up and gave me a ride home. It's nice to know there some real nice people in the world.

Kiola MThis is the best U-Haul location in the Bay Area. Santos M. and the whole crew here go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Always accomodating and never pushy. I think this is the best business in Mountain View. Thanks for all that you do.
LAWRENCE TI was originally supposed to drop off the trailer at the sunnyvale location at 939 el camino but when I arrived at 7am. no one was there so after 30 minutes waiting at a closed office with a line of people, I luckily was able to go this great location in Mountain View. will go there from now
WILLIAM GMy only gripe is refilling the fuel. I was told to refill it to full. Upon pick up, the van had 346 mile range. Although the dial said it was full. I did 75 miles. Ish. When I refilled it, it took $35 to FILL IT. The range then said almost 400 miles! So you're getting over 50 miles of gas out of me for free. And you charge a dollar a mile driven. Bit of a rip off if I'm honest. That should be deducted from my bill.

daniel WOur 15’ truck was received low on gas 1/4 tank - so had to get gas suddenly because of traffic. I thought the truck could use an over haul - tune up! But, we got the job done even with terrible 880 traffic/accidents; returned the truck late and the staff & service was exceptional throughout our hectic day.

GREGORY T1. Tell your employees not to start conversations with your customers about pedofilia and child pornography. That is offensive and disturbing. 2. Don't charge your customers for items they didn't actually receive because they were frightened by your employee and left. 3. Don't charge your customers DOUBLE and then refuse to remove the charges more than a month later. Those things would really help level things up at this location.

CHIONGCHING LThe storefront resembles a residential driveway at first glance, which might leave you wondering how to turn around. However, a right turn followed by a left reveals a surprisingly spacious U-Haul yard. The drop-off attendant was courteous and efficient. Even if you’re not renting, it’s worth a visit to see the contrast between the entrance and the size of the working yard.

Hannah GUhaul continues to be a mess. I was changed for things they did not give me. The gentleman at this location fixed it for me and was a doll but it still doesn’t excuse how chaotic it is to use uhaul. Again, 0/5 wouldn’t recommend and will never use them again.
KRISTINA Sthe trailer lacked any fixing materiels, like wheel straps of safety chains, while i was under impressions those will come with the trailer based on yTube Uhaul video.
LEONID KThis is my fav U-Haul rental location by far. The staff there is very friendly, good with dumb questions and led by a very nice guy in Santos, the manager. He's always got a smile and a kind word and if something is off with a rental, he's right there to address it.
MARLENE STrailer had terrible tie down rachets, rusted and very hard to work. The employee said another customer had had the same issue and had to use a pry bar on them So this is a known issue and not been repaired
