Advise employees that they shouldn't be smoking cigarettes while dealing with customers. When I returned the trailer, the employee who unhooked the equipment and did the final inspection was smoking while dealing with us/the equipment. Otherwise, good location.

Online “truck share”. Did not work! TERRIBLE experience and woman I spoke to in the phone was worthless for helping me and very rude. I was on hold with her while in line at the store and 2 customers in front of me were helped and left before she came back to he phone. I hung up!

The guy at this location was very friendly and helpful. My overall experience was poor not because of him, but the overall UHAUL corporation. There does not seem to be a place to review the broader group except here. My experience was poor because the UHAUL scheduling group was completely closed at 5pm on a sunday, so I had nowhere to drop off my 1-way uhaul in San Francisco, and I did not want to return to mountainview (hence, the one way trip). I would assume a number of folks are moving on sundays, when they are not working, so this seems like a pretty huge gap for a critical piece of the system. Im giving an average rating here, but if I could rate the broader group it would be 1 star.

Had a horrible experience with reservations and the customer service line will never answer. Why do you call the customer service line and wait for over 30 minutes only for the call to be dropped when you can call #1 reservations and wait 1 minute and get action immediately.I was never compensated for taking a smaller trailer because there were no available Uhaul trailers in the area. I was called the morning of July 4th to tell me that I could drive to Felton CA to pick up my uhaul in 2 hours. On July 4th it would be 3 hours to get to Felton with everyone going to the beach. no traffic its about 45 minutes there. I asked for a closer location and I was offered a smaller trailer on July 5th. I took that option just to get a trailer. Not everything fit, but it was ok to downsize everything we were moving. On the plus side the trailer was great, picking up and dropping off locations were excellent. only downside was the line at mountain view. I could tell the Uhaul rep was very busy and working hard, so I was happy when they got to me.

The staff was charming and very helpful. After a problem was discovered with my vehicle wiring, the staff immediately moved another truck over to confirm where the problem was. Sadly, my trailer wiring had failed but I was able to rent a truck for the few hours needed to haul the trailer to the pickup and drop off points. The truck could have done the job but I was by myself and couldn't lift the table up that high! THE ONLY PROBLEM: the truck cab is high and I had difficulty getting into it (I'm 67). Then I had to get back out to find out how to adjust the steering wheel up and down (it's on the side where you can't see it when you're sitting there). OTHERWISE: the equipment performed flawlessly.

Make sure your rentals are clean. The truck bed was dirty with some kind of oil and we had to find extra covering to protect the mattresses we were moving. Also the return line was to long, may be you should come up with a better process. Thank you.

The people I delt with when picking up the trailer were very good, but for some reason they put down the wrong return time on my contract even after I discussed with 2 different employees about returning the trailer early the next day. I rented a motorcycle trailer and had it back in within 20 hours of rental. The standard rental time for these trailers is based on a 24 hour period. but for some reason the return crew was extremely rude and telling me I would Be charged a second day. I have Rented many of these trailers and usually from your Pleasanton location and they are GREAT. Costomer service at your sunnyvale/237 location needs some help. They finally took the charge off, but offered nothing but attitude and grief. I will Never rent from that location again.

The only issue I have with this location is the location. It is not easy getting in and out of the place due to the setup and location. The layout of the site makes it hard to park and get in/out of.

I originally rented using the app, but at the last minute wanted to trade trucks. The guy at the desk was super helpful and I was able to make the change easily. I checked in using the app and it was great. Your app service is MUCH better than standing in long lines.

The women working on July 7th, 2018 (7:30 am) was extremely and over the top rude from the moment we walked into the store. She appeared furious that we wanted to check in rather than do it online- we had no smart phone and had spoken with a very courteous gentleman at that location the previous day who told us we could come into the store since we had no smart phone. When this gentleman confirmed to her that he told us we could check in in the store she looked blatantly angry, then ignored us for several minutes straightening boxes (no other customers were in the store at the time) then actually snapped at us to go to the register (we were standing there incredulous at what was happening and didn't know if she was going to start yelling at us to leave) and checked us out- barely answering our questions and shoving the documents at us. She was hostile and short with us throughout the process. After shoving the papers at us, without saying a word, she got up from her seat and left the room through a side door. In addition to being a horrible representative of any company, and a rude and disagreeable person, she was downright scary and disturbing. GET RID OF HER- she was a psycho.

I Spent 30 minutes on hold the day before my reservation to change my pick-up time to then on the day of pick-up to be greeted by a very rude person who seemed to be the manager. Her name was Arlene who became more rude after I found out Uhaul reserved me 10' truck instead of the 15' I requested a week earlier. Sierra who was nice enough to help me sort things out has a great way of being pleasant and dealing with a difficult situation. She made a call and resolved the whole situation during a busy and hectic rental day.

The pickup and drop off went fine. My only complaint was that I reserved a 6 x 12 trailer 2 weeks in advance. One day before I was to pick it up I was advised they didn't have the trailer locally and wanted me to drive 75 miles to pick it up. Settled on a smaller trailer a day later. Don't count on a reservation.
