U-Haul needs to have more people working in this location. The new U-Haul app is still unfamiliar even to frequent renters like myself, and the people working the counter always seem stressed trying to accommodate all customer needs. It seems to take 30-45 minutes to get my truck, and most of that time is spent waiting for an employee to complete my transaction. Please hire additional help.

Everyone was very kind to us and to do business with!! Two thumbs up guys!!’n

No issues dropping off my truck. The check in was easy and fast.

Pickup process was less than perfect. Most of the steps ,like taking a picture of my driver's license, could be done upfront. Worse, I had to find 2 people available for an immediate verification via phone calls. Uhaul's Product Managers who designed this process are complete idiots.

Checking in the truck went very fast thanks to the helpful folks there.

I did not have a good experience with the Truck Share 24/7 pickup process, and knowing that this is going to be the only way to pickup makes me much less likely to use Uhaul in the future. The process took a while, the website gave me an error multiple times causing me to have to login again and in some cases start over, and I did not like the live verification.

They didn't give me my furniture pads so had to use my bed linen to protect furniture.

When I arrived to surrender box truck office staff were not giving me guideline what to do ,so that change had been dedected twice from my bank account

Random food drippings in the interior, truck left with 6 miles til empty per the dashboard, and was in the far back corner of the yard, not pulled out ready to go. Moreso the cell phone based checkout should confirm your identity beforehand or at least proactively warn people (particularly longtime customers such as myself) that there are new specific identification requirements, who on earth brings their passport or lease agreement when moving, and had I been checking it out any earlier I would t have had someone awake to confirm my identity.

Charged for dolly we did not use, charged with out investigation , charged by default, that's is stupidity

Customer experience w/ the U-Haul "app" is terrible. Couldn't get mine to recognize that I was standing in the store. The only cashier who was there was annoyed that they had to check me out the "old way", with the computer. Seeing how much trouble everyone else in the store was having trying to use the "app" and how long it took them, I will not be renting from U-haul again. It's clear you're trying to save money on labor costs by forcing customers to check themselves out, so that you need fewer cashiers.

The check in process was the most frustrating experience possible Why would you change checking in with a human and replace it with checking in on an app Never again will I use U-haul I'm sure there are better options out there for rentals

App should be a bit more stable. Customer service rep at Mt View location told me to use the app instead of checking in with him. There was one person in front of me buying moving gloves and I was more than happy to wait to speak with a representative in person instead of using the app. The rep made me feel like I had to use the app instead of checking in with him. The app experience was not great. Didn’t work well and wasn’t very intuitive. Live chat representative had me go in to talk to the rep at the very last step of checking out of the app. Not a great experience.

Customer has to do ALL the leg work to rent via smartphone

The check-in person was professional and helpful as I was not familiar with the new smartphone check-in procedure, as I have used U-haul in the past. The only problem with the rental, was that the windshield was dirty.

Frank is awesome! Super efficient check-in/check-out! Thanks!!

Frank customer service rep was outstanding... facility was orderly and clean nothinG to improve

The new smartphone only check in was not easy. The number of steps needed to rent the vehicle seemed way too many and not very clear.

The uhaul app made the whole thing HORRIFIC. The staff at uhaul were as helpful as the could be but honestly uhaul has set it's employees up for failure. The app made my visit go from what is normally 5 min to 25 min and I work in the tech industry. If you're looking for speed a d convenience go to any other rental company

Great customer service.

The online system to order a truck is terrible. I would not recommend it to anyone. Better to walk in and have a live person do the rental. BTW, the online process delays you about 20 minutes at the place so it isn't any faster than talking to a live human,

I absolutely HATED having to do everything on my cell phone to rent the truck!!! I found the application time-consuming and difficult to use. I thought it was STUPID that the person working at the counter COULDN'T check me in & get me the truck without my having to do stuff on my phone, not to mention they could not verify me nor my driver's license. And God help any customer who wants to rent a truck who doesn't own a cell phone. Doing stuff online/on the cell phone *might* be a good idea, IF it was optional, but forcing everyone in every situation to do it that way, willy-nilly, is a BAD IDEA. It slowed me down a lot and just made me MAD!!

Again, the people that were there were not helpful. I got there a little after 5 and I know they were trying to close, but they were not helpful in where to park the truck and how to drop off the key. The tone the gentleman used was condescending and unkind.
