ANGEL RTeam there was on point. They didn’t have a utility dolly but made it available for me to have an appliance dolly. Made the move even better. Vehicle was clean and parked in an easy spot to drive out the lot.
Joshua PThe rear door was constantly stuck and the side door would not open. This made our move exponentially difficult and several hours longer. They also “ forgot” to supply any of the extras like Dollie’s and such which they have charged me for despite promising on the phone to credit. The phone support as well as on-site have done nothing to correct the issues

CHARLES BI was told if I brought the truck back before 10am, I wouldn’t be charged for the next day. I had ordered the truck for Sunday-Sunday. Therefore, when I brought it back on Saturday, I thought I wouldn’t be charged thru Sunday. I was told that my contract superseded what I was told.
Lisa EI suggest if/when a customer is using a dolly that service to this be in someway secured within the back of the trailer. I made use of a dolly and it was just rolling and banging around in the back of the trailer so on the return trip I secured it down with the use of the attached strap on the dolly to a wooden strip bar within the trailer.

LAURA MI ordered a sprinter van, but I was told the day before it was not available. I was fine with a 10 foot truck for the same price, no problem. However, when I went to the location for pick up, I was told no dolly’s were available, which was extremely disappointing. Dolly’s are SUPER helpful when moving many boxes. Instead, my dad and I had to carry 1-2 at a time, making the day longer than it needed to be. If it’s available to be booked, then it should be available at pickup, otherwise there should be notice informing you the dolly will not be available
DAWSON PI am very angry, as this is the location I originally signed up for. The morning I wanted to return the vehicle, I logged into my account it gave me the address of a U-Haul 20 min away from the uhaul location I wanted to drop off at. I assumed the original location I wanted (9390 9th N & Gandy Saint Petersburg, FL 33702) was full as I was returning the vehicle early. When I drove to the location my ONLINE ACCOUNT AFTER LOGGING IN gave me (1000 Dr Martin Luther King Jr St N Saint Petersburg, FL 33705 United States) I was turned away because THEY were full and they said this is a constant issue customers have had in the past. It wasted both time, mileage, and gas money on the POV vehicle driven WITH the rented vehicle for the driver to be taxi’s after drop off. This is completely unacceptable and needs to be fixed especially seeing as the U-Haul employee stated I am not th first customer this has happened to.

ROSANNA BPerson I dealt with was rather short about this equipment being dirty and although confirmed I was returning with 1/2 tank told me there was nothing indicating a possible credit. ??? I have been using UhAul for all my moves since 1980’s. Guess loyalty is not important
Kent SI was charged for gas because they had the wrong mileage and gas. I had to call to get it fixed, luckily I took pictures.

Lerron SAll the employees were very friendly especially the gentleman who I spoke to upon arrival. I used the UHaul app to rent a truck and for pick up. The truck was not in the space indicated but the very helpful employee who was busy with equipment, was quick to help me by getting the keys and took me to the truck I rented. He also extended my time to use the truck. When returning the truck another friendly and helpful employee greeted me and took care of everything for the return.

KATHARINE CThe truck needs and alignment really bad. Also I had to extend my usage several times and was satisfied in the way I was spoken to my the worker at the gandy location. Michael was great however the other gentleman put some kind of alert on my account and made me feel like I wasn't going to return the truck or pay my bill. I only use U-Haul when I have ever moved for over 15 years this experience has definitely made me think twice about this situation. Otherwise everyone else did there job.

GUY SI made a reservation in Clearwater where I live and was switched to St.Pete without my knowledge. I was ever unhappy and not satisfied. That caused me more out of pocket expenses to travel with more mileage. If I could have found another company at the last minute I would not have used U-HAUL

MARK BInstaller was GREAT! Friendly, helpful and quick. Very busy and well managed location. The only concern I had was that I made my reservation and this location because it said I could "wait" for the car. When I got there the clerk behind the counter said I can't wait (they have no area to wait) and she will call me. Luckily I met the installer as I was arranging a ride and he told me about how long it would take (35-40 minutes) so I found a place to wait. He was right on time, and I was able to walk back and pick it up. If a customer can't wait you should take that option off the reservation. That is why I reserved it at this site.

MATTHEW CHaving the check engine light come on for fuel cap not closed properly when I picked it up. They cleared it, then having it come on for a catalytic converter, cleared in Pensacola. Then a third time is very nerve racking when you have no idea what’s wrong with the truck!!!
DONALD KI was a little disappointed that I was not allowed to drop the trailer off at a location that was 10 minutes from where I was at my storage to drop off my motorcycle. The U-Haul just up the road on 66 is over half way closer and I would’ have had it dropped off before closing.time.

REBECCA AI picked up my U-Haul truck, a 10 ft GMC box truck, from the St Petersburg location in Florida. The young man who assisted me was very helpful however, he was not very thorough. I communicated that I was traveling from Florida to Indiana and I required a one-way rental and I communicated to drop off location clearly and even showed him on my phone the drop off location address. Once I returned to Indiana and dropped off the U-Haul after hours, I was greeted by a variety of signs stating I needed to download the app and return the vehicle using the U-Haul app or I would be charged an additional fee. The U-Haul app was not intuitive and was not helpful. There were no simple to follow instructions. I attempted to use the U-Haul app to return the vehicle which was cleaned and fully fueled but was unable to return the vehicle using the app. I dropped off the keys and locked up the vehicle. The next day I called to ensure the vehicle was returned and I was notified that not only was I charged a $20 return fee because I didn't use the app but I was also charged an additional $1,500 because I dropped the vehicle off in a different location than specified. Apparently the individual in St Petersburg did not enter the address for the one-way drop off. This is not difficult to understand because the shop in St Petersburg smelled so strongly of pot I'm fairly confident I walked out of the store with a contact high. I typically use U-Haul for all of my truck rental needs but this was a terrible experience. The customer service representative entered a dispute for me and I have contacted my credit card company about disputing the charge but I am only hopeful at this point they take care of my situation. I am available for comment. I would hope someone from U-Haul will contact me so we can discuss this situation. I am fully prepared to dispute this charge with my credit card company and leave a scathing review.

Paula SMake sure that the truck has at least a half tank of fuel so you don't have to go immediately to get fuel. Make sure to have enough Dolly's, I had rented one but it was not available.
JORGE LThe trailer ratchets were old rusty and worn and it took me an hour just to strap the car and it did not feel safe. When I was unhooking the car I had the same issue and hurt my finger. I've always had great experiences at this location but this trailer was not good. Would be nice if I could get a refund.

EMMANUEL CI'm a single mom directly impacted by last year's hurricanes Helene and Milton and was so anxious about finally emptying out my storage after being displaced for almost 2 months...Ebony quickly calmed me down with unheard-of empathy and assured me that U Haul could accommodate me...she was right...also Michael was great...they had no way of knowing and I never told but it's hard for me to have even simple interactions with people due to severe PTSD due to domestic violence...they made my experience so calm and positive...they are kind and pretty cool and the location as a whole was just excellent...the best customer service ever....I love them...God bless them...they are a great team

ASHANTA Mi think the mgr & employees are nice, but each time i’ve rented there the equipment has been faulty. this time left headlight was out and there was no lock to lock up my personal property maint is very important u-haul needs to require equipment be checked daily before renting i reported the light out and no lock provided the employee seemed indifferent ty i will come back but i want u-haul to correct these deficiencies
