Rep was extremely helpful and so nice and knowledgeable great experience He dirtected us where to go, he hooked up the trailer and checked to make sure all lights were in operating order. He even took a photo of the connections for their records! Will recommend this location to anyone and everyone!

The staff at this location offers a horrible customer service. They do not have any customer friendly approach. All 3 guys that I talked to looked like they wanted to beat me up - looked pissed off and maybe mad at someone. No smile, no positive approach etc. All 3 employees that I spoke with have a very bad attitude and are not client oriented. They just want to provide service, take your money and see you leave. When I stopped by the first time at this location, I asked a young employee to reserve me a small truck because it was the last one. I told him I will be back in 15 minutes and that's what I did. When I came back someone else got that truck right in front of my nose. I had to rent a van then. When I returned a van and asked one of the employees why they did not reserve me a small truck they said they did not have my name. I said no one even asked me for my name when I showed up the first time.. If I had known that's what is required for a reservation I would have provided my name for sure. Because I rented a van instead of the small truck, I had to pay the CDW fee. Once I found out that the fee could have been avoided if I had rented a small truck, I did not like that. I would not come back to this location and I would not recommend this place. The place is run by guy named Rico. Employees working at this place need customer approach training for sure.

Not happy with the insurance changes made necessitating paying the $10.00 charge when I have insurance coverage through Geico to take care of potential damages; just a way to make more money! Will use Budget trucks or Penske from now on!

The Staff at the Gandy location was simply amazing and awesome. I was to give a specific acknowledgement of the young gentleman with the long dreadlocks that went the extra mile in customer service. And the original employee that made sure I had enough boxes and supplies that made my moving experience Exceptional. I don’t know the names of the staff but for the Five employees that I came in contact with they all went above and exceeded my expectations. Thank you Gandy U-Haul. PS phone customer service was awesome as well. That was a young lady that called to make sure my reservation was confirmed. My only issue was that I had to drive an additional 14 Miles to use the Gandy location. There were two locations closer but the app wouldn’t allow me to reserve vehicles that were available but they system would not reserve the truck. Other than the extra mileage every thing was great

The vehicle was not obviously washed. I suspect that it must have been returned overnight, thus washing was not possible prior to it being rented to me.

I am trying to contact customer service to submit a complaint and request a refund. You can check the our numerous calls to roadside assistance during the rental period. During the first 3 hours of our trip from St. Pete Florida to Richmond Virginia, the coolant and oil lights came on and needed the tanks filled. The Air conditioning stopped working. We were lucky the truck made it to VA. It broke down in the middle of an intersection on the way to return the vehicle. It took over an hour for Uhaul to confirm a tow truck. Ultimately, the police had to dispatch a tow truck.

1. The employee who helped us was a know-it-all and rude. 2. There were no furniture dollies like the 2 I put on hold. 3. I paid for blue wrap and did get it.

I reserved the uhaul 2 weeks in advance and 2 hours before I picked it up they changed the location on me that was 10 miles out of my way and only allotted me 30 miles. Then I realized that I had a charge in my credit card for $129 from uhaul and the gentleman working told me it was from the purchase of boxes shrink wrap and bubble wrap with I did not order and never needed. Only need the uhaul to move a piece of furniture. And lastly I asked for mattress pads and of course no mattress pads were in the truck. I paid $160 for a uhaul for 2 hours. Will never use them again.

The older gentleman helping me out was rude to my friend who was there helping me out. My friend had a few questions and he instantly dismissed any of his concerns as well as putting his hand in his face and told him to stop and he would go over things with the “contact holder”. Even though these were questions I was going to ask he shouldn’t have treated my guest the way he did. It wasn’t anything my friend couldn’t hear or ask any questions. Very rude wouldn’t use or recommend this location again.

Update your system so that when reserving a vehicle it will actually be reserved. Train your employees to not be condescending as to our frustration of being sent to 3 different locations before finding the truck we reserved 1 hour before. Moving is difficult enough....
