He was very helpful and kind but she was very cold looking in the face and was busy eating her late lunch or early dinner (3:00 p.m.) I would highly recommend this service but I would warn my friends and family to pay no attention to her, she did nothing but give ugly looks and was no help at all.

I can't comment on this location as i returned the truck after hours and used the App, which was a good experience once I figured out what to do. This survey is flawed. There should be a N/A choice. The person who helped me drop off didn't complete my drop-off until after my drop off time. They only completed it once I called customer service (because no one would answer the direct line at this location) then they notified them about this.

Everything was excellent, although the truck's front bumper was literally hanging off the front—split horizontally! I'm glad we didn't need to do any highway driving. Our move was 1/2 mile from one location to the next.

I was a little confused when I got a call from U-haul corporate asking where the trailer I had rented was. They said it was 2 days late and were going to charge me extra. I mentioned that the trailer was returned on the same day I rented it and that the customer service tech disconnected it from my vehicle and returned it to inventory. I remember asking if there was any additional paperwork required and he said we were all good. The next day, I got a 2nd call asking for the trailer back, from the local dealer!! I repeated my story to that person and mentioned that it was sitting in the lot. They said they had seen it and just wanted to confirm I rented it. With all the confusion on the return, I will now require a paper invoice/receipt from the local rental agent and will take dated pictures to confirm that it was returned. I know the move with everything is to get away from paper, but in this instance, relying on the customer service rep for checking in the trailer, was a mistake and will have to have evidence of the return, in the future.

poor experience because being required to use a mobile app when doing an after hours return feels insane. why is there no drop box for keys. that's crazy. I would not recommend this location for the same reason I wouldn't recommend an antivirus software: that's not a topic of conversation normal people have. People know where to get rental trucks if they need one. Your company is synonymous with moving trucks, and to be honest i feel far more respected at a Penske rental place because at least they treat me like I know how to drive because its used more by commercial renters. Yall can lick my nuts for asking me to fill out this stupid fucking form. Get the fuck out of my email inbox.

I believe there was a discrepancy in the gas and I should of went back in immediately but inwas told I could take a picture and there would be an opportunity to upload it on thr app and there wasn't andnmy picture forgot to include the mileage now I need to pay for an 1/8 of a tank of gas that someone else used im pretty pissednoff.

Very helpful when I had difficulty with the app. He cleaned the snow off the vehicle and had it warmed up and ready to go. The downside to pick up was the app. This experience was terrible. Pictures weren’t being accepted. Luckily the gentleman inside working helped me realize this was not my fault.

Hire new employees. They forgot the dolly, neglected the snow cover on the windshield, and the attitude was that their delivered breakfast was most important. Told me to fill to truck up, and then on return, said it was only a quarter tank necessary. When I asked for a refund, he laughed. When I said I would go online, he laughed again, and told me the request would kick back to him, and he would reject it again. When I asked for my receipt, he told me to wait outside in the cold. After a wait, he came out with the reciept, but instead of merely handing it to me, he berated me for asking for a refund, and again, that I wasn't going to get it. An overall miserable experience that I will share.

I rented a trailer and the safety chains were very difficult to attach and remove. Maybe this is a good thing but I think they were bent or something where they clip. Customer service was great though. The guy hooked and unhooked the trailer for me so pickup and drop-off was easy.

This negative comment is more about scheduling than the drop off location. Despite arranging the drop off in advance and driving for 24 hours to make the drop off, the location was changed (by UHaul) at short notice prior to my intended dropoff. Hence when I arrived at Northampton they charged me >$400 because it was not the expected drop off, because of the last-minute change by Uhaul. The staff at Northampton were unwilling to help or waive the charge, and the Uhaul staff on the scheduling phone number were even less helpful. It was a very disappointing experience that makes me think twice about using UHaul again.

Pros: Pickup and drop off went fine and was quick and convenient. Cons: U-Haul texted me when I was 20 min late on my moving day and said my equipment may no longer be available, even though I had reserved and checked in online in advance. I frantically called and only got through to their central (all of U-Haul) rental line. They want you to do everything through the app. When I called the day before no one picked up and the call did not ring through to their central center. Their website is buggy and reset my info several times while trying to check in online. Uploading a copy of my license required three attempts or not for each picture. The website gave no confirmation after I checked in. At pick up the employee didn’t offer me any instruction or info on driving or using the truck, only handed my the keys and told me the spot number. Low effort and low service.

I received an email from U-Haul shortly before I was due to pick up a trailer for rental, telling me I would need to contact a U-Haul location for a preliminary inspection of my truck. I had to make a telephone call to the rental location in order to find out that I could ignore that message. Then it took the agent about 20 minutes of working on his computer while I waited at the counter before he was able to process my payment, although I had already received an online reservation confirmation. He said the computer often didn't work. Also, I received a text message on my way out of the parking lot telling me to inspect the trailer I rented for damage, which was rather inconvenient.

Staff was professional and helpful. Truck rental was difficult online - system didn't tell me there was no availability, just left me with a reservation that failed to save or let me pay for it. But once there was staff on site they identified equipment and times for availability and set me up with a reservation. Check out and return went smoothly.
