waited for my truck 2 hours finally got ahold of someone else in uhaul and he found me a truck ten more miles down the road. got started towards our moving help and the house we had to pack at twelve thirty. by the time we got where we were moving from our help had left. we didnt get done by ourselves till and arrive at 9 p.m worst night of my life. i pick budget next move and see how they do.

There seemed to be a lot of confusion between employees both within the location and in nearby location. One gentlemen in front of me was sent away last minute to another location for a trailer he reserved and the employees at the location said they were going to give it to someone else if he didn't get it soon, even though they were the ones that didn't communicate to him where his reservation was. The service is very slow at this location, the employees were not very professional. One staff just sat there and drew pictures (albeit very cool ones) but she probably could have been helping or at the very least interacting with waiting customers. The other staff that processed the reservation before I could take the truck was dressed slovenly and sniffled constantly as if on drugs. Perhaps he just had a cold or allergies, totally reasonable explanation, however his appearance and body language raised my eyebrows and it gives uhaul a bit of a bad look. Lastly, the online reservation said my miles would be .39/per and it ended up being .99/per which as you can imagine, doubled my final check out price when I actually picked up the truck. More communication between systems is needed. The trucks are pretty nice Though and get the job done

They have the best inventory of trucks to rent around here, but some times they are so busy that the wait times are too long. Would like them to try harder to find the 4x8 cargo trailer rather than just say use a 5x8, but that is just my preference as the 5x8 is taller than my van.

Because an employee did not show up for a shift Saturday morning the lone staff member there was swamped, but he was still very efficient and friendly. Pleasant experience overall, no problems!

Waited an hour at 7 am for someone to show up while on a time deadline!!! Apparently the only employee had a flat tire and could not get to work? There was nowhere to pull in or park as the actual space was completely packed with trucks and no signs to tell people to park across the street. Once someone actually got there the service was fine and efficient and the van was clean and ran well.

Your pre-check in process allowed me to be in and out of the pickup location in a matter of just a few minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful at pick up and return and again in and out in just a few minutes. Good job!

I love uhaul and have used it for every one of my moves without an issue. This time I received a truck that the employee I spoke to said was old and the bed of the truck was scratched up. I now have huge scrapes on several of my good pieces of furniture. I told the employee and his response was the truck is old and should be replaced soon but did not seem concerned that other customers may be effected by the condition of the truck as well. I am extremely disappointed and surprised by the lack of care at a company that I have relied on as a person who has moved often. I hope you do a better job providing the high quality products and customer service that I have received in the past.

U-Haul outlet in Northampton, MA opened at 9:00 a.m. Sunday. I arrived to return U-Haul truck at 9:15. There were eight people in front of me in line, half renting, half returning vehicles, and only one clerk. It's an area with five colleges within 10 miles, it was Sept. 3, maybe 100,000 students moving in and out of dorms, rooms and apartments. Also a weekend locals move in and out at ends of leases. I would have thought U-Haul would have anticipated the crush to rent/return moving vehicles, and have more than one person on duty. The U-Haul rep was wonderfully efficient, but he was only one person -- checking drivers licenses, ringing up credit cards, filling out forms, leading people to trucks, checking trucks back in, checking mileage and gas tank readings. Clearly it is more efficient from U-Haul's perspective to have customers standing in line for half an hour, rather than hire another person for crush times. But it is very annoying for customers.

The van had lots of dirt, like from plants, in it. Didn't seem to have been swept. The guys were quick and totally willing to clean it out for me. The front cab, though had a fair amount of dried mud. Didn't matter, but it wasn't as clean as I'm used to from U-Haul.

Your deposit system was hugely inconvenient and I got charged 300% more than for fueling than what the gas actually would cost. Huge headache

I was surprised that in a town of 5+ colleges and during the Fall move-in/out there was only 1 person working. The line was very long but the person working did a great job. He helped me figure out what to do about receiving a truck in NH that did not have a full gas tank. I think Uhaul should have reimbursed me for this and given me a discount for putting up with a smoke-filled truck.

I reserved a UHaul with a furniture dolly and checked out the UHaul online, in order to save time. When I got to the store, I waited over 15 minutes to get service. Then, they had to take all of my information again, so the express check-in really didn't save me any time. Further, they told me they didn't have any furniture dollies left, they were all gone - which doesn't make any sense because I made my reservation in advance. They did give me a utility dolly.

The worker was on the phone when I dropped the truck off. I told him there was more gas than when I received it (photo taken) and I was charged an additional $7.50! The loss of business from word of mouth and poor customer service as well as my husbands business will add up to far more than $7.50. I'm disgusted with the extremely poor customer relations. I have truly never experienced anything like this.

The employees were very helpful and courteous and super apologetic about forgetting to give me a dolly that I also reserved. The return process is not very user friendly. When we returned the truck there was really no way to pull it in without blocking customers cars due to the way one of the earlier returned trucks was parked. There was no one to provide direction as to handle that situation. We had to drive our vehicle out over the grassy curb to get out. I think there should be someone there who is able to supervise the return given the limited options for parking or it needs to be organized differently.
