Please do not reboot your computer reservation system in Arizona just before the East Coast stores open at 7:00 AM EDT. My reservation was deleted from the system when we showed up at 8:00 AM EDT. The employees thankfully were very helpful and all it cost us was some time.

My bank account w as debited an initial amount of $169.20 at pickup ... it posted and cleared. At pickup we were told that with tax the TOTAL expense would be $180 or so. Made sense until my bank account was debited the full $180 on top of the $169 ... I called customer service, was cut off during a phone transfer after 15 minutes or so, I called again and had to wait for an agent for 30 minutes. He told me that the first debit for $169 should be credited to my account when the $180 was finally posted and cleared. We'll see. If that hapens, I'll be satisfied, but this should have been explained by the agents I dealt with face to face.

Need to warn customers of the exaggerated cost for highway fees. At the first NY through way toll booth, we paid the $1.45 fee. At the toll booth at Buffalo, the collector said he needed to reclassify our 15ft U-Haul rental, and the toll was $30.

From the first call to the 1800 center to the call from Mark the manager it was a nightmare. The manger laughed about the call center not knowing what proper procedure was. He complained a bout double and triple booking. Get a regional or state representative out to Northampton and audit. I was out right lied to and charged over a hundred dollars. i will be filing charges as soon as possible for fraud.

My confirmation was for a different location made 3 weeks prior to pickup and quoted for a different amount. I understand that equipment may end up in a different location, which is frustrating considering the amount of lead time you had to get the equipment to the location I requested and which I called to confirm a week in advance. However I was extremely upset that because Uhaul changed my location, the amount charged for the truck increased. That is a horrible business practice. I was quoted a price. That should be my price regardless. People budget for expenses. The manager in Northampton was very nice and helpful and I’m not blaming him but Uhaul needs to rethink this.

After moving my location twice and delaying my move a whole day, I had to drive an hour out of my way to get my truck 6 hours after I was originally supposed to he the truck. Then I waiting on hold for about an hour to just tell me that this one guy is the only guy who can help with refunds. So I call this guys business phone, Danny Alnaro...... he doesn’t t even have a voicemail...... this company is a joke and doesn’t have proper customer service.

The drop off location was very convenient. It's terrific to be able to drop off at odd hours. That said, the online procedures (involving taking photos of the odometer, the cabin...) were time consuming; are they really necessary?

I was originally sent to the Hadley location and then told first that I wasn’t on the schedule and then directed to Northampton, both throwing off my moving schedule and greatly increasing the miles that I needed to travel with the UHaul without any compensation for the difference. I was called however I was packing all day so I wasn’t checking my phone. I still think that an automated email could have taken a lot of frustration out of this whole experience. Also telling the location about any resceduling from their location so the customer won’t just be told that i’m not on the schedule. Other than the change of location, the Northampton location was very put together and the experience there was smooth.

Mark is basically the best person I have ever dealt with when renting a truck. His knowledge and demeanor are second to none. More managers should be like him.

I am satisfied with the service I got, but I pay 8$ dollar gas fee which I think it was unfair charge. Because I tried to load the missing fuel, but pump does not allow me to load further since the tank was already full. However, fuel indicator on the dash was showing around 7/8 fuel and cashier at the vehicle return charge me a fee, on top of my fuel purchase.
