i WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND UHAUL IN CALIFORNIA. HOWEVER YOUR IDAHO GROUP IS NOT SO GOOD.

Brenda RAll in all it was a great experience. Delivery of the boxes was very quick and made it to the destination ahead of schedule. The only improvement I would suggest is better maintenance of their boxes. They're basically made of plywood with a weatherproof cover. One of the boxes plywood door was starting to separate from the box at the hinges. Another box, the velcro on the outer cover was damaged. But all 4 boxes made it 1200 miles to their destination without incident. I would definitely use them again.
Mike GU-Haul was absolutely excellent to work with. I had added the moving service (who were supposed to deliver my UBox). The original movers cancelled last minute and U-Haul immediately found another company and coordinated it seamlessly. Delivery was extremely easy- super nice people!

Vicari Nthe female lady who checked me in was condescending and full of attitude. She also gave me the wrong vehicle and acted as if I was incompetent because of the fact I wanted the one in the picture I selected. The Van I received was smelly and gross and the whole experience here at this location especially because of her was absolutely horrible.
SOK KU-Haul was damaged and water leaked and a lot of my belongings got water damage, manager did not offer help, would not help just gave me a number to report incident
RUDY HHello, first the store had wrong gas level marked, good thing we caught it on the spot and they had to adjust it before we leave. After returning the truck, I noticed a "cleaning fee". They claimed that the truck was returned dirty. This is false, it was raining heavily and we returned it the same way. We only used the truck to move one closet, just one item but we needed the ramp. We also told they guy when we returned it that we don't need the rope anymore and he told us that we can leave it there, maybe someone needs it. Now I am charged $40 just for the rope that we already informed the employee about. Please provide me with pictures of the dirty truck that we returned.

BRADLEY AI’ve rented from this facility before but have never encountered such unprofessional, rude and disinterested staff- all of them! While picking up the trailer, the left rear light of the trailer wasn’t working. They straight away declared that our vehicle wiring was defective. I had to ask them to try connecting another trailer to test, and after much deliberation they hesitatingly tried only to confirm that our vehicle wiring was proper and their trailer light was not working. While returning, I went to the counter. The lady was busy with her phone, never looked up and simply asked what I wanted. I said I was returning the unit. Again without lifting her eyes, she simply stated that someone will assist me shortly and continued with whatever she was doing with her phone.

JOSEPH TEvery time i come to this location i am waiting forever to be helped. I make a reservation online to fast track everything but im still here for an hour just to get a trailer for a few hours.

FLORIAN DMore a minor annoyance but the truck had an odd metallic rattle sound from the engine. Also, although I understand the old trucks aren't equipped with rear cameras (sure would be nice) I thought a back-up "beep" was required? A safety must-have with a 15-ft truck.

DAVIS KI did order the furniture dolly and it wasn’t available when I got there and so I ended up using the regular dolly. Disappointing but the young man finally did compensate me for being inconvenienced. I think the system needs upgraded to assist in this online orders and in person pick up. That way they know the inventory or what to give out and what is already available.
JAKE HI went to return the vehicle and there was quite a few young people working there just standing around chitchatting lollygagging. The girl at the counter was literally eating a pop tart I asked if they were going to check in the vehicle. She said they will get to it. Nobody was doing anything but standing around. I told her I wanted a receipt so I know what my charges are before I left the building, I went outside. I waited for a while and a kid came out and checked in the vehicle and said $93 so I asked how much was mileage. Was there a gas charge since I brought it back with the exact same actually a little more I went back in the girl was still sitting at the counter, helping customers eating a pop tart and not actually helping anybody just consuming a pop tart right at the front counter. Totally unprofessional, total, juvenile arrogant attitude from the people that worked there I will not rent from this location again this is the second time that this kind of behavior from the employees happens.

JUAN AI always recommend this location. All the people have always been really helpful. You guys have everything that anybody can think of. As far as any packing material if you don’t have lights for your truck or any of the hook ups, you guys do that as well you guys have all kinds of tongues and hitches. And you guys always have every piece of material on deck, whether it comes from a truck right down to a car dolly or any trailer. I never go anywhere else whenever I need something I go straight to this location.
DAVID RMy experience with U-Haul was a disaster. I reserved the truck and trailer weeks in advance. The day before my pickup was scheduled, a rep called me to tell me they were out of vans. I had a reservation! The reservation keeps the van theee! So they sent me to another location further away which delayed my departure time and caused me to have to pay the moving help for time they spent waiting. Then when I got there, nothing was ready. What should have taken 10-14 minutes took nearly and hour. Which caused further delays. Then to make matters worse, after I loaded the van and car hauler, I didn’t get 10 miles from my house and the trailer had a tire blowout which left me stranded in the side of the road for over an hour until roadside came. These delays and disorganization from U-Haul caused a delay in my move by a whole day, costing me time and money.

Scott PThe drop off was the issue. We had a drop off location at the Pony Express on Lakeview and went to drop it off on the 11th (Monday). The location was closed due to a family emergency. I called and left a message. They instructed me to take it to the location at 860 South Placentia, in Placentia, CA. I did that on Monday afternoon (November 11th). I asked repeatedly about checking it in and they said they had done it. However, I then got charged for an extra day (Wednesday, November 13th) for a late check in. Someone didn't do their job correctly!!

Janet cNo sense of urgency at all. They lost my ubox and I've had to bend over backwards to try and find it. Absolutely garbage customer service.
Huy PTrailer and pick up was fine. I used the app. I used the app for drop off too and was following the directions when some employee came out yelling “sir, sir, don’t do that” as I already had the trailer unhooked and the gooseneck in my hands, lowering it to the ground. Then he rudely says “didn’t you hear me?” I told him I was following the directions on the app to which he replied “that’s only for when we aren’t here. I woukd have just had you back it up.” It was a 5x9 open trailer, I could have moved it myself. Also guess I misunderstood what 24/7 means on the signage and the app. Anyway, a gal came out to help him move the trailer and was much more friendly. That guy can KMA.
