There was at least one helpful person at this location, however my overall experience was not great. When I waited twice as long to get the hitch installed on my car, I didn't complain because they got very busy in a short amount of time. But when I received a call, the day of my move across country, saying that my trailer wasn't available (even though I reserved well in advance) and that I would have to drive from Orange County to Bellflower on a Friday afternoon through LA traffic I was livid. I proceeded to call the Bellflower location to see if someone could drive the trailer to Orange County .... I was routed to a call center. The representative said I needed to speak with a manager and transfered my call, which was disconnected. I called back, routed to the call center again, the respresentative said he would transfer me to a manager and gave me the phone number just in case I was disconnected again. Keep in mind he was now the third person I spokw with. When I was finally connected to the "manager" telephone line they weren't able to help me but said I should call Brandon. I let Brandon know the situation and he said he would look into it and call me back. Twelve minutes later Brandon calls back and says the trailer is ready and at the location you ordered from. Miracle, or something else? How did a trailer appear when it wasn't there 12 minutes earlier? My suspicion is that it was there all along, and perhaps they just wanted a second trailer to rent to someone else. Never having towed a trailer before I didn't know what it should look like, how low or high it should sit. When I drove the trailer home I went very slowly over railroad tracks and dips in the road because I didn't want to scrap the chains or neck of the trailer . Once the trailer was loaded I thought wow that looks too low. I asked a friend who suggested I take it back and have someone look at it. The guy who looked at it immediately said it was too low and that he would fix it. He made a comment that the person didn't attach it right, and that it shouldn't sit that low. He said it needs to be at least 6 inches above the ground and mine was almost touching the ground. Forty minutes later it was fixed and I was on my way. There weren't any problems on my drive, thank god. Yesterday, I noticed that the location I was supposed to drop off my trailer was 23 miles from my new address. I called to see if I could drop it off at a closer location ... yup back to the call center. They offered me the phone number of the person I was supposed to talk to and I left him a message. The day went on and I didn't hear from him so I thought I'm just gonna drive 4.5 miles from me and see if this closer location will take it. When I arrived at the location they immediately told me to drive to the back. Someone came right over and told me to back the trailer in ... honestly in the 5 days I had the trailer I avoided back it up like the plague. The guy barked out directions at me, "

I've noticed a couple of new staff members and, in my opinion, the old staff has trained them well in customer service. Most staff members know me by name because I rent very often via a Corporate Account. Calling me by name makes me feel special. Good job - keep it up.

Great staff.

Drove past other U-Haul locations so that I could rent from this location. Always a great job. Thank you.

The individual who met me on drop off was not welcoming or pleasant. It seemed like it was a burden for him to check the truck in. I understand that it must be frustrating to have several vehicles dropped off prior to opening, but I believe that is what the staff get paid for. He was more interested in his phone than customer service.

Great customer service every time I come. I have been renting from here once a week for almost a year and it’s always nice and easy experience.

The mileage was off by 50 miles and I had to wait over 15 minutes on the phone to reach someone to have it noted. I was also charged a $37.00 extension fee that was not disclosed at pick-up. After reading all the bad press recently, I would never rent U-haul again.

Your staff was first-class, from pickup to drop off....courteous, professional and most importantly, genuinely friendly. I wish I could remember each of their names, but they were on duty July 2nd at 7am and 520pm in Placentia, CA. Thanks and Happy 4th!!

Way to busy but they tried to help so much so they could

Once I proved to them that the truck had the nail coming out of the pick up location, they apologized and took care of me and did not charge me for something I did not do.

Make sure the correct keys are in the lock box when using the uhaul app

My dad left his credit card in the card reader at Uhaul at about 2 pm. He thought he lost it. Someone from the store called him around 7 pm at closing time and said they found it and he could pick it up next day. If it was in the reader, no one else could use it, so why didn’t they call immediately instead of waiting 5 hours later!!? Also, upon return of the truck we had to wait 20 mins because it was so busy. When we finally got to the front, they said to just leave the key in the truck and we could go. Why isnt this clear from the beginning. There were no signs. The receipt says to login and create an account which we did not want to do. Not a big deal but we were in a hurry and waiting in line for 20 mins was not necessary!

Everything was great. Parking lot is small but...

You are doing a good job.. The van was clean and the customer service was great.. If I have to tell something which you can improve is to explain the customer about the van like the door can open braod and the place in the van to fill gas and few details which are essential for the first timers..
