Only issue I had was the furniture dolly didnt have a strap so made it pretty useless for what I needed it for.

The blinkers and brake lights were not working on the trailer because of my vehicle. Not blaming them for equipment not working, but they told me to go ahead and take the trailer and figure it out.

I was given a quote over the phone for about 3400, it sounded good so I agreed to it. The gentleman's name was Kai. I then met with a gentleman at the placenta Ca. Office. He went over everything with me about a 15 foot truck, a tow dolly transport, and a hand truck. I explained to him I didn't want any surprises and that 3400 would be the price ,and he assured me that would be it. When I got there the next day, I was told the auto transport dolly was not compatible with my car. I already loaded the the truck and they say its going to cost 485.00 more. (Pretty dirty) I had no choice they had me over a barrel. I then asked for them for an extra day to complete the trip, since I was there all day. He said OK that will be fine. Now when I drop off the truck, the employee tells me he can't release the truck till I pay an additional 129.00, for a day late. I'm an old guy. This is quite the scam. With respect sir ,I hope you can make this right for me. I'm on a limited income and I hope you can make this right for my wife and I. ,,, Vincent Corrao Thank You

U-Haul was a great choice for me, everything went as planned, the staff was efficient and kept me updated on my progress and needs. I really can't suggest an improvement because I didn't have any problems or concerns.

it would be great if the trailers were properly attached to the hitch. I drove off the lot and noticed the sound of chains dragging. I got off the freeway and noticed the chains were not properly connected to the hitch and were dragging. I had to tape them to keep them from dragging. The chains were missing the rubber tabs that keep the chains from dragging.

Douglas must be proud of this bunch. I know the boss wekl because I rented from him for many years. Now he is the big boss. The van Ness location has really nice people. Carson has nice dedicated staff and this location has alot of good people. Good management shows top to bottom and this way and that. All my encounters with U Haul staff have been great. Im sure if you need a rental that they will take good care of you.

I think it is very hard to know when a container has reached 2,000 pounds -- therefore, we had to reserve more than we had originally planned for --- which of course, increased the overall cost of this move. The good have not yet been shipped so we do not know if they will arrive safely

Came into this move not fully confident, but U-Haul truly surprised me. The process was pretty seamless, the drivers on time, anytime I called support was friendly and very helpful. Our 3 boxes arrived on time and our belongings were undamaged. If you are willing to pack and load yourself, Uboxes are definitely the right choice cost-wise. We will use again for a big move.

Hooked up dolly in 20 minutes and returned in 5 minutes. Easy peasy.

Fix the app glitch on picture uploading. The upload option is available on both the pre-checkout page and the checked-out page. But it doesn’t work on the checked-out page. The attendant didn’t know the workaround. I wasted 5 minutes and finally was able to upload after going back 1 screen.

James G. from Peel N Move went over and above the call of duty to assist with the move. He was proficient, kind and effective, working as a one man completing the job. James also assisted me by getting a 2nd lock for my U-Box, I didn’t have to do anything he took care of it all. I would recommend Peel N Move to anyone who’s looking to rent a U-Box from U-Haul. I love U-Haul! The equipment is always well-maintained, the staff is helpful, the rental process is smooth and easy to make changes if necessary. The U-Haul app helps make the process very easy and has lots of features that are helpful when you are in the middle of a rental such as maps and info about drop off locations.

Honor rental at location it is originally reserved at. If that is not possible, provide credit for additional miles and gas needed to travel further for additional travel. Website check in needs work. Checked in the prior day and still required all the needed info again the next day and still did not work. Had to check in at the desk and agent still had to start the order over again from scratch. Upload of DL loops and never saves the photo. I do appreciate the help returning the equipment. Uploading the app to do a return is not a good experience.

Every time I use uhaul I always experience problems or issues regarding delivery/drop off locations or vehicle rentals. This is not the uhaul workers fault, rather it's YOUR system and the way it works. Countless times I've reserved something ahead of time that ended up not being available day of service. This is unacceptable and lazy corporate bullshit that will push me to never use your pickup trucks or vans for moving ever again because you are unreliable. Home Depot will be used to help me move things from now on. If you check my receipt or reservation you'll see I reserved a pickup truck and instead was given a huge 15 ft van to move my ubox. No excuses, your business fucking SUCKS and I hope you get outcompeted.

I had a stressful and short-notice job to do 8/21-8/22. When I arrived at my first stop, I realized I wasn't given a key to unlock the back of the truck. I called 3x until someone at this location finally answered. Despite being informed I could get a key at a separate U-Haul location, I was set back an hour and had to pay more to refuel the tank. When I returned the truck, I asked for some sort of refund due to the key situation. The worker checked the truck and said there was nothing he could do, gave me my receipt, and gave me the GM's business card.

From the time I walked in the door to rent a truck to when I turned it in everything was outstanding. I returned the truck at almost closing time and Jonathan the young man who checked me in was very courteous and helpful. This location is great and the staff are always on top of things. I can get in and out to rent a check in 15 minutes or so. Love U Haul

This was such an easy and smooth process. I am so grateful that I was made aware that UHaul is offering UBoxes. I has such trouble finding a way to transport my late father's belongings from Indianato California. It wasn't enough stuff to pay for a moving company or a POD but too much to have to ship it through UPS, for example. The UBox was perfect and the price was very reasonable . The process was easy and they kept communication going while I waited for it to arrive in CA. Everything arrived in tact and on time. Very glad I used this service.

As always staff was courteous and helpful. Did not have a reservation, however, they had trucks available. I was in and out in about 15 minutes or less. Rental process was easy and quick. Upon return same thing, No issues at all. Always like going here when I need a truck for my business.use.

The U-Haul representative who assisted me put on my trailer hitch without using a corter pin/clamp I left the property drove 3 miles down the road luckily it was fine just very bumpy I assumed because it was an empty trailer, I was wrong! Uhauls rep name is Jennifer Lopez owner of the store Gary calls her JLO Right before I went to load the trailer (prior to leaving to drive out of town 7 hours) I noticed there was no clip or clamp I called the location. Gary asked me to text him a photo I did he verified that his employee had made a mistake and asked that I drive the trailer back to U-Haul (with no clip) to have it resolved or to call roadside assistance. At this point in the day I was already checked out of my hotel and needed to go home but also had to feed my son. So I unhooked the trailer and rebooked my room for another night because as a single mom I can’t have my child in an unknown situation after a full day of cleaning out a hoarder house. Gary had absolutely no care for the situation and completely backed his employee. The next morning after paying $199 to stay in Orange County due to this I called U-Haul roadside assistance about 7am they showed up about 10am (glad I did not do this the night before) All U-Haul offered me was a $75 credit. Very disappointing also because I need to use a trailer again this week now not knowing who I should book through. Gary and your team need to step it up at the Placentia U-Haul off Crowther/Orangethrope
