Equipment to be better, we had to cut our trip short one day because our car port that we rented was defective
JOSE SVery good
DENNIS CUHaul rep did not inform me that I was responsible for supplying a lock and key for the uBox. Fortunately, I had a set available. Staff did not inform the movers that the fork lift operator would not be available until the afternoon of the moving day. The operator did not arrive until well after 1 PM. One uBox was made available but two had been booked. As it turned out, the movers were able to pack the one unit and the second was not necessary. However, the movers billed me for packing two containers and did not inform U Haul that the second one was not needed. Poor communication on the front end. Everything worked smoothly at the Escanaba MI location, except I did not get my lock and key back. I got a refund for the double billing by the movers. Better communication, coordination, and accountability would improve service for the next customer.

MARK MU-haul was great. The emails, text and calls all worked very well along with informative of what was going on. We put an air tag in the box and knew when the box was at its final destination. We waited a day and did not hear from anyone so we called to set up earlier delivery.
Jeff EThe young man behind the counter was a great multi tasker! He had to be efficient, as he was the only one working. It's ridiculous the facility is so under staffed. It was the same way two weeks ago too.

BRETT SGot to the location to drop off the trailer. Backed the trailer in to the parking spot and disconnected. waited there for 20 Minutes for someone to come check me out. After 20 minutes I walked in and there were people inside waiting for a worker. They said they have been waiting for over 30 minutes and not a single employee in sight. After waiting in there for another 10 minutes. I went and hooked up the trailer to move it into the return doc so they knew it was there. I disconnected and waited another 10 minutes before finally just leaving.

Monikia FSeveral times my order was cancelled, got charged extra for having delivery to Tigard Uhal. Overall experience was repeated incompetence. Had to visit stores repeatedly and they could not get it corrected reasonably. I will never use Uhal again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JAMES PTrailer was set up wrong. Had to go back and get set up again with a different receiver. Worker assisted in checking lights and told me they were good. Upon further inspection one of the wires was completely severed and I had to repair to safely drive. When returning, worker was rude and demeaning. Did not feel like a customer but more like someone causing an inconvenience to their day.

DANIEL CBoth containers arrived 11 days late. It was not our fault, so someone from the company called and told us U-haul would reimburse us $50 per day for each delayed day. Since the containers were supposed to arrive on 04/08 and it arrived on 04/19, we should be reimbursed $550, but we have not received that money.
JOSE GOverall, this was a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use another U-Box if I ever needed it in the future. My only suggestion would be to provide more than four tie-down brackets inside the box. Four near the ceiling and four more near the floor would be very useful.

Sigrid WOnly thing I can say is receiving a paper receipt that we turned in the trailer. Felt uneasy leaving with no paperwork. Having to take photos of the trailer dropped off in the condition it was received.
PRIMITIVO PWhen I dropped off the trailer I was in the designated pickup location. 2 different employees told me to wait there and someone would be with me. There were employees there working on another vehicle so they were busy. After 10 plus minutes of standing around I walked into the office and the guy behind the counter took my paperwork and I was on my way. I wish sometime would have told me to just go into the office instead of letting me stand around for no reason.
JOHN MIt was a very easy process to rent the trailer. I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes.

Jim SI’m pretty sure they should have know before they started the job that my car had LED Lights and that the cost for the wiring would be an extra $200.00 above the estimate given to me. Then to tell me after the hitch was already installed ???? Also I asked them several times to make sure that the power wire included and it was not installed.
Mike BWonderful first experience so we did it again about a year later. The uboxes are ideal when moving across state and you don’t have furniture. You can stack boxes tight from top to bottom and side to side.
Les AService was excellent. Having to instal the mobile app was ridiculous though and caused a huge delay during an already stressful time. There were technical difficulties, I'm a software engineer, it wasn't a user issue. We ended up having to completely redo the reservation in person even though I'd already booked online in advance.
AARON GI had a horrible experience. I wasn’t given the right key to open the rear end. When I called Uhaul customer service,I was put on hold for 2 hours without proper help and just kept being told they were trying to get answers. I was transferred to roadside assistance but they weren’t able to help either. I will never rent from Uhaul again
Janetzi SAll three female drivers who delivered and took our U-Box were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The box arrived sooner than we thought and the final delivery time was able to be altered in our favor. The box itself was clean, and came with plenty of clean furniture pads. Our box was slightly shorter than the advertised height. This fact was very clear when it was taken away - it was visibly shorter than the other three on the truck. We were unable to load one particular item because of that. Upon final pickup the driver was surprised by how degraded the bottom pallet was - wood breaking and splintering. It took her a while to load it because of that, but she eventually did and apologized for how long it took, but she was very personable and kind and did a great job. Overall a positive experience except for the above. Our goods arrived in good shape, dry (moving from So Cal to Washington) and on time. Will do this again with the rest of our items.
Tom BGive proper maintenance to the vehicles before renting them out. The pickup truck I rented left me on the side of the road about 5 times. Calle Uhaul for assistance and the tow truck never arrived.
DARIANNA Atry not ripping off the cusromer. I was instructed to fill the gas tank between 1/4 and 2/3 then was switched trucks and not told it had different amount of fuel. so i filled back to almost 2/3 but was charged $35 refuel charge. in all truck was only driven 21 miles total!!!! never using uhaul again. budget is down the street. it was not my choice to switch trucks the guy didnt feel like moving the front truck out so he gave me the next truck over. redid all paperwork but again was not told different fuel level. I figured they were all filled to that level

Vanessa Cthe crazy, angry older man running this location on Saturday was insane!! He was yelling at those of us returning our trucks and told us the only way to return the trucks was through the app ! It was the craziest experience - he should NOT work with people!

ANNETTE AThe cell service sucks at this location so using the U-Haul app to check in is too slow. Spend $300 and get a Verizon internet based cell repeater to boost the signal to 4 bars for everyone.

Melanie MI requested a dolly and was charged for it, but it was not in the truck. I had to return a coupe hours later because the tire pressure was low. No one performed an inspection prior to me leaving the lot either after the app crashed on me.

rose gMy Experience with UHaul was Abysmal. IN the online order - I ordered packing supplies. But, when I had my new job pay for the order - there WERE NO Packing Supplies when I got the UBox. Like those supplied dropped off the order. That was INCOMPETENT on the website side of UHaul! And, when I tried several times to speak to UHaul people in the Cleveland side of the Move - I got MULTIPLE Incompetent people - even to the Extent that I completed Emptying the UBox - I went inside to tell a Woman - she said Keep the receipt - then SEVERAL Days later UHaul Attempted to try and charge us for Another Month of using the UBox! TRULY Incompetence! I would NEVER USE A UBox again!!!!

ALEJANDRO II felt like everything at the beginning of my move was a disaster, my mover did the best job, I had the wrong number of boxes and felt I had to scramble to get another box added on a the person I dealt with was very un knowledgeable and I ended up leaving serval items behind and am very sad !! I spent a lot more money than I had planned and it took longer to get my boxes than what I was told. The employees on the McKinney Texas side were great and had everything delivered when they said and were very informative, they were great.
Paula PThe straps on the car tow dolly were ratcheted wrong and wouldn’t release when I went to hook up the car. Had to back feed them. No easy process when the ratchet is cranked tight with three or four wraps. If the u haul person that hooked up the dolly had checked that and explain the process that wouldn’t have happened to me or the next renter. I use ratchet straps daily at my job.

They did a wonderful job, were in time and very courteous. Colleen the driver that moversred and picked up my boxes at the final destination was professionap, polite and in time. Thank you again. David TReceived trailer with 2 of 4 tires half flat due to nails in those tires. Noticed low tire pressure after filling trailer. Checked tire pressure with gage to verify low pressure. Had to have roadside assistance come to house to change 2 of 4 tires. Delayed travel start by 3 hours.

Gary NWhat a terrific service! The Ubox price was lower than all of the competition. The boxes arrived on time. The move was from California to Florida. The estimated time for delivery was a little more than 2 weeks. The boxes arrived in 5 days! Wow what amazing service. The delivery went as smoothly as the pick up went. I cannot reccomend Uhaul boxes enough. I would happily use them again.

JON WThe person who checked me in was new but he could ask me about the gas before charging $13. This could have been avoided.
KENNETH OBetter communication from the workers would be nice – I asked to access my box and did not get a response until the next day. I understand it may get busy but at the same time the communication could’ve been a lot better.
