I made this reservation two weeks in advance and the day before they called and changed pick up location. That put a big burden on me, since I had drive an extra 20 miles during morning commute. I'm 81 and that was a horrible drive.

Make it more obvious for the drop off point after hours, such as park anywhere or something. There were a bunch of cars in line for the drop off area that’s only for during the day.
David CEverything worked out well. The process to drop off my U-Box was seamless, and they picked it up the next day as scheduled. The service representatives for U-Haul in California were always courteous and were able to answer any questions I had. My U-Box arrived at my destination in Austin on time. The only issue I had was that the U-Haul location in Austin is that it does not inform people that their warehouse does not actually open till 9AM, and I scheduled a 7AM unloading to unload my possessions from the U-Box; however, one of the warehouse workers was kind enough to give me access to my U-Box before opening, and it saved me a lot of time, money, and potential misery because of all the other logistical pieces I had planned for the day. I'm truly grateful that they went out of their way!
Erik VI was incorrectly charged twice for my rental, and I was also billed for fuel even though I refueled the truck at the 7-Eleven gas station located right next to your store. It would be unreasonable to consume 2 gallons of fuel in such a short distance. I attempted to resolve the issue over the phone but was unsuccessful. As a result, I had to interrupt my work and go to the store in person, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I kindly request that you review these charges and issue the appropriate refund.

Robert TThe service was terrible. The lady the rented our trailer was rude and used one word short answers. The manager was encouraged in personal conversations with the employees instead of encouraging them to customers. When I asked about the difference in pricing she acted put out and turned to the manager for the answer. He the spouted 18.95. When I asked a follow up question he cut me off and said 18.95 again. Then the lady proceed to try and charge me $28, when I asked why it wasn’t 18.95 like he said. She roles her eyes and said insurance. I asked if it was manditory she shaid no and took it off. But it seems like something they should explain and ask if you’d like it before the automatically add it on. Outside one of the guys was speeding through the lot in a rental truck dangerously. I’m not going back to this spot.

Tuan LI got another new employee this time. I worry if they are not supervised by an very experienced employee. It worked out fine when we got some help putting the trailer on my truck hitch. He thought the new guy some things of importance.
Gregory SI was very disappointed to receive this U-Haul almost on empty and did not match the contract I tried to call once I got on the road only to receive a service center. That was no help. When I returned the vehicle, I mentioned this and showed the pictures but upon reviewing my online receipt, I see that they charged me a fuel charge and I’m very disappointed
THOMAS LI stipulated 24 hours for the rental and the agent put down 1:30 pm for return. Trailer was returned in 5 hours. I was overcharged and registered a complaint with Ihaul customer service. Not a good way to do business.

Ron EAfter hours checkout is terribly time consuming. the app does not work. had to get some on phone to do check out on uhaul web site. took me almost an hour to check out. That was a lot of time wasted. You need better system. Also, I was told at the time of renting that if I dont do checkout at afterhours on the app, I would get charged $20. that is rediculous. Other car rental companies let you just drop off keys after hours and dont charge anything unless gas is less or any damage.

ALI KWe dropped off the car carrier on Saturday June 21st at 4:15pm. The guy at the front desk was short and rude. Said “you’re blocking the traffic you need to move asap!” I am 82 years old with arthritis and you can’t miss that fact yet no one asked if they could help. Thankfully a customer was outside who offered to help.

Truman PThe whole process of loading drivers license took 20 minutes. The app never let me take pictures before I left. People behind the counter had ZERO customer service. The items I put in my cart while ordering the truck (10 bins and 6 blankets) were not in the system when I showed up the pick up the truck. The whole process took over an hour and I had a lot of people waiting at home to help me move.
DAVID SStaff was not accommodating. Refused to pick up U-Box same day. I was told by delivery driver that if we emptied it by noon that she could pick up same day which we did but it wasn't picked up. I had stress on it getting stolen all night. For the price we paid we should get what we ask for. I'll never use U-Haul again. It will be pods next time!!

Freddy MWe have not had a good experience so far. I called to have my boxes ready 24 hours in advance. I was told my boxes would be ready during a certain time frame. I showed up with vehicles and people to help and the boxes were not ready. The people were not apologetic or helpful, just said they would call me when they were ready. When they called, we showed up again. The employees were rude and unhelpful and told us the boxes wouldn't be ready for hours because the system was down, even though they had said the boxes were ready. We have 4 storage boxes and I specifically asked for 2 of them. When we brought them back I noticed one of the boxes was not the one we requested. I am very disappointed by my experience.

DENNIS CUHaul rep did not inform me that I was responsible for supplying a lock and key for the uBox. Fortunately, I had a set available. Staff did not inform the movers that the fork lift operator would not be available until the afternoon of the moving day. The operator did not arrive until well after 1 PM. One uBox was made available but two had been booked. As it turned out, the movers were able to pack the one unit and the second was not necessary. However, the movers billed me for packing two containers and did not inform U Haul that the second one was not needed. Poor communication on the front end. Everything worked smoothly at the Escanaba MI location, except I did not get my lock and key back. I got a refund for the double billing by the movers. Better communication, coordination, and accountability would improve service for the next customer.

MARK MU-haul was great. The emails, text and calls all worked very well along with informative of what was going on. We put an air tag in the box and knew when the box was at its final destination. We waited a day and did not hear from anyone so we called to set up earlier delivery.

BRETT SGot to the location to drop off the trailer. Backed the trailer in to the parking spot and disconnected. waited there for 20 Minutes for someone to come check me out. After 20 minutes I walked in and there were people inside waiting for a worker. They said they have been waiting for over 30 minutes and not a single employee in sight. After waiting in there for another 10 minutes. I went and hooked up the trailer to move it into the return doc so they knew it was there. I disconnected and waited another 10 minutes before finally just leaving.

Monikia FSeveral times my order was cancelled, got charged extra for having delivery to Tigard Uhal. Overall experience was repeated incompetence. Had to visit stores repeatedly and they could not get it corrected reasonably. I will never use Uhal again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JAMES PTrailer was set up wrong. Had to go back and get set up again with a different receiver. Worker assisted in checking lights and told me they were good. Upon further inspection one of the wires was completely severed and I had to repair to safely drive. When returning, worker was rude and demeaning. Did not feel like a customer but more like someone causing an inconvenience to their day.

DANIEL CBoth containers arrived 11 days late. It was not our fault, so someone from the company called and told us U-haul would reimburse us $50 per day for each delayed day. Since the containers were supposed to arrive on 04/08 and it arrived on 04/19, we should be reimbursed $550, but we have not received that money.
JOSE GOverall, this was a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use another U-Box if I ever needed it in the future. My only suggestion would be to provide more than four tie-down brackets inside the box. Four near the ceiling and four more near the floor would be very useful.

Sigrid WOnly thing I can say is receiving a paper receipt that we turned in the trailer. Felt uneasy leaving with no paperwork. Having to take photos of the trailer dropped off in the condition it was received.
PRIMITIVO PWhen I dropped off the trailer I was in the designated pickup location. 2 different employees told me to wait there and someone would be with me. There were employees there working on another vehicle so they were busy. After 10 plus minutes of standing around I walked into the office and the guy behind the counter took my paperwork and I was on my way. I wish sometime would have told me to just go into the office instead of letting me stand around for no reason.

Jim SI’m pretty sure they should have know before they started the job that my car had LED Lights and that the cost for the wiring would be an extra $200.00 above the estimate given to me. Then to tell me after the hitch was already installed ???? Also I asked them several times to make sure that the power wire included and it was not installed.
Mike BWonderful first experience so we did it again about a year later. The uboxes are ideal when moving across state and you don’t have furniture. You can stack boxes tight from top to bottom and side to side.
Les AService was excellent. Having to instal the mobile app was ridiculous though and caused a huge delay during an already stressful time. There were technical difficulties, I'm a software engineer, it wasn't a user issue. We ended up having to completely redo the reservation in person even though I'd already booked online in advance.
