Have employees actually ready the truck and look it over - some liquids were low for my 200km trip. Fill the gas to 1/4 tank if that's what I'm expected to bring it back with - I was given a near empty tank and expected to bring back at 1/4 tank of gas. Have a block heater on the engine Have employees maintain the site so I don't have to take a 26ft truck out the back alley.
TYLER JSystem problem delayed pick up process. Took over 60 minutes to get a truck i had reserved earlier on the app. The truck assigned did not have working windshield wipers but was quickly assigned another. Staff was excellent though.
MICHAEL WI haven't used uhaul in a very long time due to a previous experience. I decided to try again for convenience sake...this experience was way better. Equipment was clean and the price was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. The truck I drove did act like it didn't want to start every time I started it but once it was running it ran fine.

GLENFORD VNo parking available to leave your vehicle and pick up after returning rental. Entrance through the service bay an inconvenience and a hazard. No windshield scraper/brush in the vehicle in the middle of winter in a winter city. Rental vehicle needs maintenance, possibly a wheel alignment.
GLENROY CPlease speak to your employees about adjusting their customer service experience that they provide. I dealt with a front desk employee who seemed very angry and uncaring about the experience that they provided.
ANDRES IThe counter guys are good and efficient but the equipment tends to be on the dirtier side of things. Any van I've rented, the windshield has been dirty on the inside as well as the door mirrors. This last rental, the cargo area floor was spilt coffee or chocolate milk on the rubber floor covering. Luckily it was -10 and the liquid was frozen so or real issue but if it was warmer it would have contaminated my equipment (musical band equipment). Otherwise the process is easy.

CRAIG BOriginally had another pick up location. Showed up there, and vehicle not available. Said they don't even do pick ups only drop offs. Very disappointing. Went to second location. Good service, but no blankets available. Further from location I needed truck, so ended up paying additional milage fees.
CURTIS MRented a tag along trailer in Regina and the trailer lights went out about 60 minutes after leaving the store. Phoned to see if I could swap the trailer in Saskatoon, but they said I had to return to the store in Regina. Stopped along the route and had help fixing the trailers wiring at a trailer store in Davidson. When asked to be re-imbursed for the repair, I was asked to return at a later time for manager to be in. Improvements: - more helpful than turning around and bringing trailer back, an hour from the store - non-faulty equipment - able to provide a refund when the trailer was returned and not asked to come back
MICHAEL PThe delivery and pick up process was amazing. Kumar was incredibly efficient and helpful with recommendations on container orientation to make our storage needs as accessible and convenient for us as possible. It was much appreciated during this process. We will definitely reach out in the future if we need this service again.

SCOTT HBe diligent in basic facts taking phone pics to back up claims which we did to corobarate our findings. They helped in our case against wrong information on U haul side. In the end he admitted his claim to a number was wrong. The customer ( me ) was in the right. The end of real story.
KARL OWhen I returned the truck, I spoke to the staff about how dirty the truck was. The inside windshield looked like something was sprayed on it but never wiped. If you were to run your finger over it, it was almost greasy. The manager came out with me to see and was very nice and apologetic and said he would ‘do something for me’. I received the invoice by email and there was no adjustment made. (I assumed that meant he would adjust the rental because what else would you do?) It was strange to extend that and not do anything. The check out and in were seamless and the staff were nice but the vehicle was gross

MOHAMMAD MThe staff were very helpful, went out of their way to help me sort out the electrical problem with my vehicle!! Turns out it was my expensive adapter that I only used once! They were able to troubleshoot in a couple minutes then got me on my way.

SHAUNALEE NThe trailer we had booked was not available, because previous customer had not returned it. The trailer that was s substituted worked just fine at a reduced cost.
LARRY MWas given the keys to the wrong truck. And was given the wrong drop off location even though my reservation was set to the preferred drop off location.
TONY PThe location’s employees do not have a good understanding of customer service and fully explaining the process. When we were paying he told me the price, and told me to press accept on the credit card machine, which was $60 higher than the price he said out loud. I told him that and he said well that’s if you were paying with a debit card the actual number is above that. I never said that I was paying with a debit card and the number above was the PST. He argued with me for a while before taking me through the steps on the computer, which should have been done first anyway. Once we went through the steps on the computer, the price changed and then I hit accept. In addition to this, the parking lot is too small to navigate through if there are any other customers in the lot. This was a bad experience and I will not be renting from them again.

STEVEN KWe rented the trailer for one day with the option of keeping the Trailer for one extra day due to our moving schedule. U-Haul service rep was not cooperative, nor was he receptive to our (customer) needs and concerns. Kept insisting on returning the Trailer well before the 24 hrs. We rented the trailer at 13:30 on October 31st; the rep called us next morning and insisted we return the trailer by 08:30 in the morning. The excuse given to us was that the Trailer has been double booked and the other customer who booked the trailer on line was at the store and was upset. Not sure how the local location is run and managed but we found the service sub-par. Not usually the case with U-Haul....we typically have very good service but this time we were disappointed.
