The vehicle smelled like pot when I got in and had garbage on the floor,drink stains in the dash, ashes in the ashtray etc. When I selected vehicle should be cleaned before next family during the checkout process, I was charged 25 dollars for cleaning.Jeff M.

We booked a 20' truck and got stuck with a 26' foot truck which was an extreme inconvenience; it was way larger than we needed, and had to find someone to drive it for us because of the size. We were told we couldn't pick it up & drop it off at the closest location to us so we ended up paying more in mileage fees. Not a great experience.KIRSTEN P.
Rented 5x9 open trailor when I got home just across the city I had to tighten the hitch onto the ball as the person who hooked it up did not tighten it enough. It didn't come off the ball but close. Otherwise was a good rental.KERRY F.

The customer service was very slow. At first there was only one person working and he was helping someone for what felt like forever Then one lady just slowly slinked in and took her time even getting to us when we were next. The cargo van was filthy inside and smelled terrible. Both seats were covered in dog hair. The dashboard was covered in muddy dog paw prints and smears. No cleaning or sanitizing had been done. We had to clean and sanitize before we could use it. We returned the van ahead of our plans as it was too filthy to get in and out of, and we were concerned about our health. At that time the attendant said, in a very stock Manner, that they had no time to clean as the units were rented out as soon as they came in. What a lie! There were 8 or 9 cargo vans lined up when I arrived to rent, and at least the same number lined up when I returned. How can you ignore government regulations regarding cleaning and sanitizing during this pandemic?Garth S.
What I was quoted online was half of what I was actually charged. I am extremely disappointed in the cost of renting a 10ft truck for 4 hours to pick us a used sectional from Moosejaw, that cost $191. Last year, I rented a 26ft truck with 16x10 trailer for 3 days that cost $267. How does this even compare? There was s discrepancy in the mileage, I was double charged what I budgeted after all the online quoting. Very disappointed..Carrie H.
Nothing. I was very impressed with the all of the staff including the people who took my order over the phone and helped get me set up and ready to go and with the staff on return. It is not that common to deal with staff who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. PS I don't know these people and this is just my honest opinion.LOU B.
Trailer was dirty inside when I picked it up. I had to clean sweep it out and wash the floor so I could put my stuff in. Also the trailer door closure was seized and I needed a hammer to open it. The rollers in the roll up door were very corroded and I had to fight to open and close the door. Fortunately I like the manager there as we have worked in the past together and I know that this will be dealt with. Thank YouTimothy H.

I had my first and worst customer service with the U-Haul today (26-Feb-2021). The story goes like this: I had reserved a 10' truck on 17-Feb-2021 (ref #: 23256605) online with pick up point as Hill Consulting, 3045 Saskatchewan Dr., Regina towards my move on 26-Feb-2021. Almost half an hour after the reservation was made, I received call from the U-Haul informing that there was no 10' truck available at that pick-up point on my requested date. The lady who called me kindly updated my order by changing pick-up location to 1535 Park Street, Regina, which is much farther for me and she compensated it by offering me 15, truck for the same rate. I accepted the offer and was looking forward to the convenient move. Today I went to the U-Haul office on the Park Street, Regina with one of my friends, fulfilled all the formalities and all of the sudden this lady at the counter very rudely said that I cannot have the truck because it's not delivered by the previous customer and she told I can get a cargo van instead if I wanted. I explained my situation to her and the lady at the adjacent counter also interfered very rudely that it's not their faulty (which I agree) and they had nothing to do about it. The way these two staff (who were at the counters at 11:00 am on U-Haul on 1535 Park Street Regina) exhibited the worst attitude and approach to me and my friend as customers. They didn't even care for the inconvenience I expressed and were not willing to even offer any consideration for the last moment inconvenience caused to me. At the same time, they were confident that they were going to charge the previous customer for not delivering the truck on time. We placed an order for a cargo van, made the payment, got the moving done with the help of personal trucks of two other friends, got out job done, filled up the gas tank, and dropped off the cargo van by around 3:00 pm. At that time (26-Feb-2021 around 3:00 pm) there was another staff at the counter who was patient enough to listen to our concerns, went to another room, talked to her manager, returned to us, took my name and number and told me that the manager would call me. Even after 6 hours, I have not received a call yet. I'll wait and see how it goes. I am writing this to express my frustration at the worst customer â€œserviceâ€ and least appreciable attitude shown by those two staff. I will not go for U-Haul for my next move in future because there are other better options and neither will I recommend U-Haul to anyone I know.Robin J.
Was originally directed to Saskatchewan drive location through a phone call from Winnipeg office and multiple emails. Wasted 1/2 hour at that location waiting for appt time and finally got someone on phone that stated they were closed and to drive to park st location instead. Park location said I was lucky they had my requested rental item in stock, but everything past that point went quite well. Just the problems with the initial pickup confusion and wasted time (was on tight schedule).Kevin B.
