I would honestly install bigger tiedown hooks and all your trailers. The ones you have in there now are very small and very flimsy so I would recommend adding large larger tiedown hooks but other than that it was a great experience. I will definitely be using you guys again.
JASON SDoes U-Haul Canada offer a CAA discount? I asked and was told no. I rented a car tow dolly. The employee was very helpful in hooking and unhooking the dolly. One of the wheel straps was was very frayed and worn. It was not noticed during pickup. The worn strap was hard to wrap around the tire and difficult to make it tight. Luckily I was hauling the car a short distance, so I was able to make it work. Hence 'No' for well maintained. I felt I was required to provide too much information for the rental. It is likely a coincidence, but the night after I returned to dolly an attempt was made to steal my truck. I have lived at the address for 28 years. This is the first time someone tried to see my 2000 silverado. This was the truck I used to tow the dolly. I wondered if other customers have had theft attempts made on their vehicles after renting from that UHaul. Roger
ROGER RTruck windows and exterior mirrors were very frosty. There was no scraper in the truck. Scraper provided by the office was poor. Had to let truck run for 20 minutes before proceeding.

SHAUNALEE NMy overall experience with UHaul was fine, the systems were having issues that day so the line was long and slow to check-in, however the staff did their best to speed things up for the customers. What was unacceptable to me was the condition of the truck. It had clearly not been rented out for weeks, as the ice and snow was so piled up on the truck, solid ice from hood to top of windshield. I could not even use the wipers as they were frozen in the ice. All of the other trucks were cleared off as they clearly had been regularly used. I ended up severely freezing my hands trying to somehow clear the ice off the raised windshield and dig out the frozen wipers, thankfully the homeowner behind the location lent me their snow brush and I was able to use that - still this took me over 10 minutes just to do this. The mirrors were also frozen shut against the truck, and I had a very hard time opening them up to even be able to drive, AND the gas cap was open and hanging. I understand we live in Regina in the winter, but I was not pleased with how this rental started. Not only was I there at 9:45 am, and did not get the keys until 10:20 because of the hold-up inside, I then wasted another 20 minutes just trying to get out of the place. I rarely leave reviews for things, but next time, please clear the ice off the windshield.
KIRSTEN BThe first truck I was given was in no shape to be driven that day, the gentlemen working did switch it for me but that just meant someone else was going to get it. The whole lot looks like a bit of a junkyard, none of the vehicles were clean, I will say it has been warm here a few days last week etc, but these outside were filthy, inside was not bad. Again the gentleman working swapped the truck for me no hassle but if that had been the only one there I likely would have cancelled and went somewhere else.

ANDRE WCustomer service representatives were excellent....the truck we received was terrible - unwashed truck with muddy windshield and rear view mirrors......steering play made the direction of the front wheels unpredictable. The cabin space is cramped and miserable for a long haul.
VIDYA DWrong km adding and at the beginning rental the guy at the office he was rude and wired the truck was almost empty fuel, and kind of commanded me to refuel right a way, he wrote 3/4 empty but it totally empty , this experience is my first time with that location and he said 102$ total after I dropped they’re charging me 126$ that’s weird!

DEJEN HThe U-Haul location is just jammed with trailers and vehicle vehicles and very difficult to get into. I was told I would get a discount because I had vehicle trouble. I was told I had been charged for two days and I ended up being charged for four. The man who was loading and unloading the trailer, had to do so physically by himself with a trailer that was far too heavy for him to lift.

Fill the gas to 1/4 tank if that's what I'm expected to bring it back with - I was given a near empty tank and expected to bring back at 1/4 tank of gas. Have a block heater on the engine Have employees maintain the site so I don't have to take a 26ft truck out the back alley.
TYLER JSystem problem delayed pick up process. Took over 60 minutes to get a truck i had reserved earlier on the app. The truck assigned did not have working windshield wipers but was quickly assigned another. Staff was excellent though.
MICHAEL WI haven't used uhaul in a very long time due to a previous experience. I decided to try again for convenience sake...this experience was way better. Equipment was clean and the price was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. The truck I drove did act like it didn't want to start every time I started it but once it was running it ran fine.

GLENFORD VNo parking available to leave your vehicle and pick up after returning rental. Entrance through the service bay an inconvenience and a hazard. No windshield scraper/brush in the vehicle in the middle of winter in a winter city. Rental vehicle needs maintenance, possibly a wheel alignment.
GLENROY CPlease speak to your employees about adjusting their customer service experience that they provide. I dealt with a front desk employee who seemed very angry and uncaring about the experience that they provided.
ANDRES IThe counter guys are good and efficient but the equipment tends to be on the dirtier side of things. Any van I've rented, the windshield has been dirty on the inside as well as the door mirrors. This last rental, the cargo area floor was spilt coffee or chocolate milk on the rubber floor covering. Luckily it was -10 and the liquid was frozen so or real issue but if it was warmer it would have contaminated my equipment (musical band equipment). Otherwise the process is easy.

CRAIG BOriginally had another pick up location. Showed up there, and vehicle not available. Said they don't even do pick ups only drop offs. Very disappointing. Went to second location. Good service, but no blankets available. Further from location I needed truck, so ended up paying additional milage fees.
CURTIS MRented a tag along trailer in Regina and the trailer lights went out about 60 minutes after leaving the store. Phoned to see if I could swap the trailer in Saskatoon, but they said I had to return to the store in Regina. Stopped along the route and had help fixing the trailers wiring at a trailer store in Davidson. When asked to be re-imbursed for the repair, I was asked to return at a later time for manager to be in. Improvements: - more helpful than turning around and bringing trailer back, an hour from the store - non-faulty equipment - able to provide a refund when the trailer was returned and not asked to come back
