Best experience ever renting from Uhaul. Renton Truck Uhaul location had great reviews, so I went with them to move an apartment size home. Christa offered coffee and hooked up one of their 8 foot trucks and 6 by 12 trailers for the move. Both where very clean and was a much nicer ride and experience that using one of the bigger trucks. The chevy truck was very comfortable and pulled that fully loaded trailer easily. Cannot believe how much you can get into one of those 6 by 12 cargo trailers. Highly recommend you try one of these with their 1/2 ton 8 foot truck for a move vs the bigger truck.... and you will get a clean well maintained one. Will use both again when needed.

I was not told about the parking policy in advance. That lack of information caused some very poor interactions, and caused me to run an hour late when moving my terminally ill husband. The added stress was something I did not need especially as it was entirely avoidable.

Pheonyx SWent by myself to pick the U-Haul truck. ask the guy that worked there. Where can I park my car and he said that there was no parking on their lot. You would have to either park at Chevron right next-door or discount tires which they probably would tow my car away so I ended up parking two blocks away on the street. I didn’t feel that my car was safe, but I did it anyways cause I didn’t have anybody that could come to to pick up my car

GREGORY BThe staff was very kind and helpful and efficient ! Unfortunately, this wasn’t the location that Ioriginally made my reservation at …2 weeks in advance to my move. I had to drive a half hour each way to pick up the U-Haul when my original location was five minutes from my home , so with that I’m disappointed.it took up an hour of my reserved elevator time . Without the elevator reservation, it took me an additional two hours to move my things out and all I got for the inconvenience was 30 miles. That is my only complaint
Kim UI am extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. The elderly gentleman who assisted me was markedly rude, abrupt, and confrontational. I am unsure if he is on the autism spectrum, as I had to repeat my phone number at least seven times. Additionally, he repeatedly revealed his open carry firearm while behaving with an attitude. Moreover, I was provided with a key to a vehicle parked behind others. The sole positive aspect of the visit was the interaction with the young man outside, who was very personable and apologetic regarding my situation. He assumed responsibility and endeavored to resolve the matter effectively.
David MMy disappointment is not with the location or staff, it is related to U-haul corporation. The actual dimensions vs the advertised dimensions 4x7 trailer is misinformation. The trailer was too small. This cost me valuable time in making several trips to U-Haul. I also had to pay for two trailer as I had to go rent a second trailer a few minutes after I renting and returning the first one. I will not be renting from U-haul again, which is disappointing as I am a frequent customer.

CHRISTOPHER MThe app is a complete let down. I spent 1 hour trying to return the truck and still couldn't do it. The app asks various equipment questions and even after answering them nothing happens. It tells to enter miles and after entering it says miles are way higher than initial estimate and t returns to the original screen. Besides the app being a joke everything else was cool. Also, the dolly wasnt secured. The green seal was already broken before I tool the truck. That made it look like the one who has used it.

Johnathan BSuper friendly staff!!! I picked up a trailer Monday morning. The drop off area was very full. The trailer I was picking up was buried between trucks. Christa greeted me with a friendly smile and cheery attitude. She got a guy to move the trucks to free up my trailer. The guy that moved the trucks was super nice too. I forget his name. Tonight I dropped the trailer off and Christa helped me park it. She is awesome! This is my favorite U-Haul!

BAIBA RI have rented several Uhaul trucks over the years. This was the best overall experience I have ever had. I did not use the Aop to rent the the truck, but used it to check out the truck by taking pictures before leaving the lot. I also used the app to check the truck in after hours. It was easy and convient. I loved that there was no guessing about whether I did everything right when I dropped the truck after hours. Within seconds after taking all the photos of the truck, including the odometer readting, I had an adjusted total (I went 2 miles over my estimated milage and the final bill was adjusted by $3.51) and the additial amount was automatically charged to my card. I had a reciept before I left the lot. My only disappointment was that the location I rented from did not have a hand truck available for rent. I overheard the costomer service rep on the phone stating that they had not had them available for months! Fortunatly, we were able to borrow one from a friend.

SUSAN CI made a reservation online, which was quick and easy. They had my reservation ready when I arrived. And were extremely helpful when booking the trailer up to my vehicle. The return was just as smooth. The only thing, which isn’t really a thing, is that they asked me again about purchasing insurance, even though I answered all those questions already during the online reservation process.

This is not the nearest UHaul from my home and only came here since they are the ones who had the trailer I needed, but in the future, I will drive the extra miles from my home if I need any UHaul services.
HARRISON WThis location is a joke. The location was blocked by a lot of returns, which were not being moved. The manager was rude, and when they were taking the trailer off the manager said over the radio that she was charging me a fee because the return picture doesn't match the hook up. (The chains were put up) I went to talk to her and was told I have to wait, she was making a personal call ( which is now over 20 minutes)

TAY HDid an online reservation via app $19.95 + $8 + tax. When showed up to pick up, I was informed I could not deliver the trailer on the same place because some random reason. Then I ended up paying $40 and had to deliver the trailer in a different place. I used the trailer for less than 2 hours. Will think twice next time before using U-Haul services.

JON MStaff behavior at this Renton location was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. When we arrived, employees stood and stared while we unloaded our vehicle instead of providing any guidance or assistance. After unloading—while clearly in the designated drop-off area—staff demanded that we park the trailer for them. We complied without issue, but the manner was abrupt and disrespectful. After the trailer was unhooked, staff continued to be rude and demanding, creating an uncomfortable and hostile experience during what should have been a routine return. There was no courtesy, and no basic customer service or attempt to communicate respectfully. This experience was entirely avoidable and reflects poorly on this location’s management and training. I will not return to this location and would not recommend it based on staff conduct alone.

DIANA MStaff was great, but This trailer was wrecked. Fender bent, flat light didn’t work, and it shimmied while driving, even dual axle. One of the other side tires was at 25psi. The garage door at the back was so crusty it was incredibly hard to use. The brake springs were wound so tight the trailer banged every time you left off the brake or stopped - was it missing a bushing?. And there were basically no tie downs in the trailer. Need to take a closer look before renting them out.
SCOTT HI was sent to another U-Haul in Renton before this one and I have NEVER been treated so poorly by any employee, of any business, ever in my life. He was the GM of that location. The man is on drugs! The absolute worse customer service I’ve ever experienced… I’m renting from Home Depot from now on.

L GThe employees at this location are completely incompetent when it comes to knowing even the most basic things. I drove 45 mins to get there only to have them tell me they dont accept any of my cards. So I asked if my wife could just call in and provide her card info. I was told theres no way for them to do that. So they said to have her book it online or on the app and pay for it online, well she did. I then go to get the keys and they look at me like I was speaking another language and tell me "Im sorry she has to be here to swipe her card for us to be able to check the truck out" mind you over 2 hours has now passed and I have to explain to my wife that she just wasted all that time and she now has to drive 45 mins out there... for the sake of anyone reading this i will paraphrase the end suffice it to say the end of the rental was equally as botched. And as a real slap in the face when I renewed the rental well guess who all of a sudden could accept debit card payments over the phone without me being there... lol and just to make sure I never think about renting another uhaul for the rest of my life they send me the bill which included a extra day $149.99 3 days of extra insurance $45 4 days of dolly charges for a dolly i never had $48 250 dollars in fraudulent charges for the worst rental experience of my life DO NOT GO HERE MAKE THE TRIP TO SEATTLE OR YOU WILL WISH YOU HAD
DONALD BOur interaction with Isabell was 100% top notch!! She is very friendly, incredibly helpful and got us rented and out the door in no time at all. I would 100% recommend her to do business with. The only reason I marked down to 4stars is our interaction with the other person working the shop when we returned the u-haul was kind of snippy and not helpful instead making us wait in a lonnnng line of people returning trucks all at the same time. While isabel was trying to clean and get the keys and in take the vehicles, the other gal just told us to wait for Isabel and kept fiddling around at the counter while all the customers were outside, there was a line up out to the street. So Isabel GREAT!! Other gal, not great.
