The customer service was terrible. I was charged $20 for after hours drop off. The lady confirmed I was dropping off the truck at 5:30pm when they closed at 5pm, and at no time did she say a word about me being charged $20 for dropping after hours. I arrived at 5:06pm and walked in the store holding the keys and asked if they wanted me to put the key in the drop, instead of simply taking the keys from me and not charging me a fee I was unaware of, she said ‘yes’ for me to put them in the drop. So I drop the keys, then get charged $20 for after hours drop off. Totally poor communication and nowhere did they look out for the customer. I will never return to that location.

MARQUITTA GDrop off was very frustrating. I picked up in person and tried to drop off in person and they informed me that I had to do everything virtual and were already closed, but more than one person was still working there with the door open and everything. I will not be using uhaul again.
ANGELA DPrices are reasonable. Drop off process was challenging. Over crowded, no where to park, seemed disorganized. The guy we worked with was helpful.

GARY CMy pick up location was changed 1.5 hours before pick up. When I requested the extra miles and gas to be comped, they agreed then tried to charge me for them anyone. When I noticed they tried to charge me the staff and manager “tried” to fix it but ultimately said they could not fix it and I was left with the bill. Very poor customer service. Then they also forgot to give me the furniture blankets order and I had to come back to grab them.
DARIUS SBetter communication for returning the vehicle. I was given a truck at “5/8” tank. A very specific amount. I wasn’t given any information on how much would be charged for fuel if I brought it back at less. Before returning, I filled up the tank to within a couple of ticks from the 5/8 line, but was charged close to $6 per gallon for the rest. It’s not a big deal, but it felt weird. If the tank was full when I left, it would make sense to fill it all the way up. But to be given a partial tank and be charged a higher rate to bring it to the exact line felt petty.

GILBERT GBetter customer service I recommend, at the Highlands store, the manager at the store was so rude, racism and unprofessional, the service was terrible and they charged me $25 fees for cleaning and I return the truck clean, they charged me over 20 miles more in my bill, I take a picture to the miles a soon I get in to the truck, and after I review the mileage in the document that was incorrect, for over 20 miles. I will never going to recommend any body to your Store and I will never ever use your services again.

DANE JI got some blankets and I thought I had bought them and I rented them. I was charged $48 and told the girl I had them in my car and would give them back, she basically blew me off. So just be aware if you get the blankets they are rented and you will be charged if you do not return them.
ABIGAIL TWhen checking for pick up, the two attendants were very rude, unfriendly… they made a mistake on giving me the wrong key for the truck, and delayed me 15 more minutes waiting to give me the right one… after figuring out that it was the wrong truck and key they gave me and waiting 15 minutes, no apologies at all on their mistake Terrible customer service!!!
JAMES LI was charged $20 for late delivery when I had problems returning the truck online Contacted customer service and they helped me out to return it and said they waived the $20 But still got charged Not cool. Will have to call again to fix this issue
SAMIR VDo not tell people that they can park at Renton Tech College. That is what I was told. I dropped off after hours and was locked in. Had to wait over an hour for security to come and unlock the gate. Security said this wasn’t the first time.
MATTHEW EThe only issue is that there is no place to park on the premises, and you have to park your personal vehicle elsewhere.

HEIDI TCheck engine light was on: Attendant was uninterested in this information. I was charged for 2 miles more than driven but chose not to dispute. I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid this haul location but not going to voluntarily recommend either.
DANIEL MThe staff were AMAZING! Friendly, accommodating, and fun to work with. The van didn’t have any visible garbage but the dash looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in a while, and the scent was a little overwhelming.

I was on a tight deadline to finish an assignment and stopped by U-Haul on 4th for convenience. Isabel was wonderfully professional, she quickly addressed the hurdles we faced, maintained a calm and capable tone, and wasn’t afraid to ask for help when needed. When provided with the necessary information, she took swift, decisive action and streamlined the entire process. Efficient, courteous, and effective. A standout experience.

GEORGE HThe trailer was not connected to my ball hitch correctly and as I was driving away on the freeway, the trailer came off the ball and dragged on the ground and when I tried to stop it hit my rear bumper several times before I was able to pull over and connect it properly. This was a huge mistake and should be corrected!

BARRY BMake sure the truck you have available for after hours pick up is not blocked in behind a wall of other vehicles for your customers. That dilemma took me an hour with multiple calls with customer service to resolve.

WALTER BTried calling several times prior to arrival because it was going to be close for me to arrive by the 7pm closing time. Never was able to speak with an associate at the actual location, transferred to the call center. Very unhelpful. When I arrived at 6:59 pm I went inside and was told that they were closed and I would need to check in the trailer online. Of course the QR code on the outside wall did not work. One of the employees from the location came out and tried to help unsuccessfully. Finally after several attempts to use the app, I was told to just leave the trailer to be checked in in the morning and I would be responsible for the trailer if it got stolen. Fortunately, I received a final check in notice in the morning without incident. Very unhelpful, though I tried to stay positive throughout the whole process.
PAMELA HIt was hard to park and hard to find an employee. Another customer and I had to help each other park. The employee said she didn’t have our drop off reservation so we had to show her our reservation paperwork that clearly showed our drop off location.

CHRISTOPHER CPerform computer system upgrades overnight when customers are less likely to be checking equipment in/out. When I originally stopped into this location I was told that I could not pick up my trailer per my appointment due to a ‘system upgrade’ that caused all U-Haul computer systems to go down and there was no back up process. I was told I could come back later or get a call when the computers were back online. Due to my tight timeline I called customer service who were able to work with the store to finally rent me a trailer.
JONATHAN TSonnet and Sonja were incredibly helpful and lovely to work with, but we had to wait 25 minutes to pick up our trailer due to the decision to not properly staff the store. They were the only two working, and Sonja was the only one continuously working the front desk as Sonnet had to prepare and move trucks and trailers. They should have been given help to make sure customers were quickly assisted

YOULIE KI returned the truck as more than 1/4 of the tank caused I pumped up the gas at gas station next door to make sure the tank was passed 1/4 mark as required to get $19 reimbursement. The line was long and the clerk lady told me that it’s all good to go and they will reimburse me the refund. They didn’t refund me at all.
DANNY NThe space is not large enough to safely secure trailers. The agent hooked us up with a trailer that had a faulty right axle.
CHERYL MIt was shocking that they wanted to charged $25 for one shoe print on the floor after we had swept the floors and cleaned them. Also is there a reason why employees got guns on them that are exposed? It felt as if it was used for intimidation purposes.
ALMIR DCustomer service during drop off was lacking. Had to find employee to notify of my drop off (10:30am) and they were not helpful, courteous or willing to process my drop off while I was there.
MITCHELL LVet recommended mover help better!! The movers I hired through U-Haul literally broke or irreparably damaged every single piece of furniture they touched! They also dropped boxes of glass, but then claimed it was MY fault because the glass should have been wrapped better!! I'll NEVER use those movers again!
