CHRISTOPHER GCashier had unenthusiastic attitude, but the people assisting with the equipment were efficient and polite. It was actually quite a surprise when compared to other UHaul locations I've been too where service was pretty bad.
DONALD MFix the attitude of the counter person who helped me. She talked to me like I did something wrong and with a very angry tone. I asked her if she's angry and she responded, "let me do my job okay?" However, when I returned the truck on the following day at 1pm, the gentleman who helped me was friendly. I saw the previous night counter person that afternoon too and she had the same attitude. I was patient because I needed the rental truck. I spoke with the manager that evening, but it looks like her attitude never changed. I will not come back to this facility if I have another place to go.
BENJAMIN LEnsure the outside of the vehicle is cleaned, so folks can avoid charges. Bird poop in 2 locations and gunk on the windshield. Also, maintain your tires. As far as the tire incident went, my husband had a tire completely give out (rubber literally rolled across the freeway) 30 minutes into his 5 hour drive, was on the side of the freeway for an hour before he was able to get a spare tire brought to him. Had to come from North Bend.

Barb BThe first time I rented a uhaul staff was amazing but the equipment was not clean so when I returned the vehicle the rep took pic and stated someone was smoking which was not true then the second time I rented a trailer and a hour of my time turned to 5 hrs given the straps would not unlock this experience was horrible the staff was nice that that was about all, I didn't even get a call from. Management or no follow up regarding the inconvenience I was caused because of the faulty equipment

ERIC KUpon arriving at the location I was not greeted like a customer. I was immediately told I couldn’t park at the location and I needed to move my vehicle to the neighborhood across a busy street. I had planned to uber back to pick up the car after taking the U-Haul home. I did not request this location for my pick up. It was switched by the system. Advance warning before arriving to the location that you have no customer parking would have been ideal. I would have rather driven farther to the location in downtown Renton, than to be treated as an inconvenience and a corporate store.

The only issue I had, and that's due to my physical limitations, was that I sometimes had trouble understanding him because he spoke very quickly. He was great, though. I'll need that type of trailer in the future, and will not hesitate to rent from that location again.
EVAN WI am writing to share a very disappointing experience I had with U-Haul recently. The issue was primarily lack of staff training and communication. At no point did the staff explain that U-Haul has changed its rules for after-hours trailer check-ins. I only discovered at drop-off that I was required to download your mobile app, scan QR codes, and go through a digital check-in process. This policy creates several problems: Many customers - particularly older ones - do not use smartphones or apps. Some customers (myself included) do not wish to install unnecessary or suspicious apps on their phones. U-Haul provides no alternative method for returning equipment, other than paying an additional fee. I was told I would be charged $20 simply to have the trailer checked in without the app. This feels less like a customer service solution and more like a forced way to generate additional revenue. In addition, I strongly encourage U-Haul to improve contract transparency. Customers should always be offered a printed copy of their contract or, at the very least, shown the full contract on-screen before signing. Policies and terms seem to change without warning, leaving customers unaware until it’s too late. I have been a loyal U-Haul customer in the past, but this experience left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I urge U-Haul to: Properly train staff so customers are informed of rule changes in advance. Provide non-digital check-in options that don’t penalize customers. Reconsider unfair charges that exploit customers who cannot or will not use the app. Ensure contracts are fully visible and clear to customers before they sign. Until U-Haul addresses these concerns, I will be hesitant to use or recommend your services.

HAROLD JThe customer service was terrible. I was charged $20 for after hours drop off. The lady confirmed I was dropping off the truck at 5:30pm when they closed at 5pm, and at no time did she say a word about me being charged $20 for dropping after hours. I arrived at 5:06pm and walked in the store holding the keys and asked if they wanted me to put the key in the drop, instead of simply taking the keys from me and not charging me a fee I was unaware of, she said ‘yes’ for me to put them in the drop. So I drop the keys, then get charged $20 for after hours drop off. Totally poor communication and nowhere did they look out for the customer. I will never return to that location.

MARQUITTA GDrop off was very frustrating. I picked up in person and tried to drop off in person and they informed me that I had to do everything virtual and were already closed, but more than one person was still working there with the door open and everything. I will not be using uhaul again.
ANGELA DPrices are reasonable. Drop off process was challenging. Over crowded, no where to park, seemed disorganized. The guy we worked with was helpful.

GARY CMy pick up location was changed 1.5 hours before pick up. When I requested the extra miles and gas to be comped, they agreed then tried to charge me for them anyone. When I noticed they tried to charge me the staff and manager “tried” to fix it but ultimately said they could not fix it and I was left with the bill. Very poor customer service. Then they also forgot to give me the furniture blankets order and I had to come back to grab them.
DARIUS SBetter communication for returning the vehicle. I was given a truck at “5/8” tank. A very specific amount. I wasn’t given any information on how much would be charged for fuel if I brought it back at less. Before returning, I filled up the tank to within a couple of ticks from the 5/8 line, but was charged close to $6 per gallon for the rest. It’s not a big deal, but it felt weird. If the tank was full when I left, it would make sense to fill it all the way up. But to be given a partial tank and be charged a higher rate to bring it to the exact line felt petty.

GILBERT GBetter customer service I recommend, at the Highlands store, the manager at the store was so rude, racism and unprofessional, the service was terrible and they charged me $25 fees for cleaning and I return the truck clean, they charged me over 20 miles more in my bill, I take a picture to the miles a soon I get in to the truck, and after I review the mileage in the document that was incorrect, for over 20 miles. I will never going to recommend any body to your Store and I will never ever use your services again.

DANE JI got some blankets and I thought I had bought them and I rented them. I was charged $48 and told the girl I had them in my car and would give them back, she basically blew me off. So just be aware if you get the blankets they are rented and you will be charged if you do not return them.
ABIGAIL TWhen checking for pick up, the two attendants were very rude, unfriendly… they made a mistake on giving me the wrong key for the truck, and delayed me 15 more minutes waiting to give me the right one… after figuring out that it was the wrong truck and key they gave me and waiting 15 minutes, no apologies at all on their mistake Terrible customer service!!!
JAMES LI was charged $20 for late delivery when I had problems returning the truck online Contacted customer service and they helped me out to return it and said they waived the $20 But still got charged Not cool. Will have to call again to fix this issue
