Equipment was old and heavy wasn’t able to haul the car still got charged

THOMAS TTruly the most annoying aspect of this rental situation were all of the text and emails. And then to have to specify your EXACT time of arrival to pick up the truck, ... when you are driving across the state. We had to call and reschedule the pick up time TWICE, ... just to make sure that they did not give the truck to someone else. And NO, I don't want to click on some link and verify the license plate number. The store renting the truck should have already done that. The 15' truck that I rented was clean. But the air conditioning was not blowing cold. It did start working the first day after I drove it for 15-20 miles. But the second day it would not cool down at all. The other disappointment was that the truck lacked cruise control. It was a LONG and exhausting 6 1/2 hour drive without the benefit of cruise control. The truck had a surprising about of horsepower. It had no trouble keeping up with traffic. That was a very pleasant surprise. It did get around 10mpg. But, that is to be expected.

BRIAN PThe van smelled of cleaner and light animal smell. You could tell they worked hard to get the animal smell out.... but it was still faintly there. Other than that, it was a smooth experience. The van was really easy to drive and it held almost an entire apartment!

CARLA CThe truck was clean and easy to drive. The problem is in the right hand corner of truck bed (front) there was a substantial l leak. It wasn't raining when truck picked up or being loaded so didn't know and maybe they didn't know this either.

LAWRENCE II love love love the 12th st UHaul! best employees, great service! Parking is always wonky, but it is at most uHaul locations I have ever been to.
JEANETTE KI have relied on this U-haul location for a number of years and various moving projects. The site is crowded and parking for a vehicle that is being left until rental return is tight, but the service has always exemplary. Once again yesterday, the young man who assisted me was efficient, quick, and very pleasant. I will continue to rely on this U-haul facility on the basis of this kind of service.

ERIN DLet people who rent a vehicle deliberately know to take photos before they begin driving instead of just letting people know they got a text notification. Since I didn't know I was supposed to take pictures and didn't have them, I got charged $150 for a minor dent in which I'm sure I did not cause, and that's after buying their insurance as well.
