Getting the vehicle through the app can be a problem especially on a cold day. I understand the security but some questions could have been asked beforehand, ie taking pictures of id first then take pic of yourself/ driver later. In all, I would rent from thurs location but receive the rental during business hours.

I have done business with this location for a number of years and several times quite recently. In my last interaction I asked for the name of the owner and was told it was a corporately owned shop. My purpose in seeking the owner was to congratulate them on the conduct of their employees. I have never encountered anything except fast, efficient, pleasant, courteous people there. Give them all raises in 2019! Well done.

Truck was parked so close to other trucks you could not walk around and view for damage. Worker did not come out to view truck as they do at all car rental places I’ve been to. Could barely open drivers door to squeeze in then barely made it out without hitting other trucks. Inside the truck was filthy and smelled of smoke with garbage throughout. When returned I wa accused and charged for damage that I did not do. Worker claims the truck was brand new several times even though it had 51,300 miles Feel scammed. Will never rent from U-Haul again. This was after making online reservations only to arrive at confirmed location and find out that the only truck they had was rented out for the month and they could not or would not assist in figuring out what happened. That location was Nest self storage located at 2150 Turner RD SE Salem, OR 97302. Absolutely horrible experience with U-Haul.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had. I went online and reserved a 4x8 trailer not knowing if it would be big enough. I received 2 conformations for 2 different locations. I went in to the local UHaul and decided the 4x8 wouldn't be big enough so I reserved a 6x12. I went online and canceled the 4x8. When I did that you also cancelled the 6x12 I had just reserved. When I got to my specified location I was told that my reservation had been canceled and they didn't have any 6x12s. I drove all over Salem to find a trailer. My reservation was to pick up in Salem and drop off in Winnemucca. After I left I received a text message telling me I had to go 200 miles out of my way to drop it off in Lovelock because Winnemucca was closed. I called the Uhaul in Winnemucca and they informed me that they we certainly open. I don't like being lied to. I will never do business with your company again and I will inform anyone of your practices. The drop off was the best part of the whole transaction.

Give an option to fill it with gas. I felt that the $19.95 + .89 per mile was a bit too much. My bill for 3 hours was $90. It filled my needs beautifully!

I had reserved a van at a location close to my home to minimize mileage and the cost of the fuel. When I had received a confirmation phone call the morning of the reservation I had confirmed the pick up location and was advised if I were to pick up the van earlier just call. When I called because I was able to pick up 1 hour early I had been informed my reservation had been changed to a location approx 5 miles away. This change had meant my round trip mileage had increased by 10 miles. When this had been addressed I had been told that the rental had not been guaranteed for the preferred location so the company can change it. This is the 2nd time this has occurred where my rental has been moved to a location I did not select. Why offer a choice of pick up location when it will be changed how the company would like.

They had to cut the strap to free my car because the uhaul attendant could not get the strap to release. Plus he showed us how to operate the trailer side rail to get in and out of the car after it was loaded something the Coeur D Alene employee didn’t do. Should of made sure the equipment we were charged for worked properly and how to use it. This should be a part of the rental experience when using a car trailer. Very frustrated with this experience

9 gals of gas for 23 miles Truck seemed to stay in low gears too long Key sticks in door and ignition Seat belt warning kept going off when belts were buckled i would have returned it for exchange but was on a tight schedule

Thank u for the receipt. Unfortunately the customer service was horrible. I've rented from Uhaul multiple times and this was by far the worst. Not only were the people at the chevron where i was to pick up my truck rude but they didn't even have the keys to the truck and told me i had to drive across town to the main Uhaul place and pick it up there of they even have one or i could wait for God knows how long until they figured out what you do. This was unacceptable. Not only was i late to work but i had to drive clear across town twice just to finally pick it up. The people at the 12st location where great. However i believe i should be compensated for my trouble plus i wouldn't have had to use as much millage if i could have got the truck where it was scheduled to be picked up. I run a business myself and i would be extremely upset if this happened at my shop.

There was supposed to be a utility dolly included with my order but when I picked up the truck, there was no dolly in it. I still got charged for it though.

I have rented many times at this location, but this time, a new employee and manager were very demanding about getting personal contact information from my secondary phone contact, my 93 year old mom. They called her; never identified themselves and expected her to tell them who she was...She didn't and then hung up. I told them they should have told her whobthey were and why they were calling, so wrong! If this is the way U-haul treats repeat customers, I won't be back.
