It had snowed the morning of my reservation. When I arrived, Amber had the truck cleaned off and it was pretty warmed up. Greatly appreciated!

RAY HWhen we arrived we were barely greeted by staff. We were handed the keys and we had to ask which truck it was that we were heading to. The man at the front desk said it was the one “right outside” (there were multiple trucks ‘right outside’). When asked if he could walk us to our truck or AT LEAST POINT TO IT he was visibly annoyed. I also confirmed with two different people on the phone that the door opening of the truck needed to be 84 inches or more. This was not the case for the truck I rented, but luckily we were able to squeeze everything in. I am so disappointed with this experience as I had used this location nearly every weekend with a previous business. I would not recommend this location moving forward. The truck itself ran horribly, could barely get it up to the 55mph speed limit, and the check engine light came on as I pulled it in to the parking lot to return it. 1/10 experience at best. I will find a different company to spend money with moving forward. If the customer service was decent and the truck sucked, I would feel differently. Both were horrible and I will never rent here again and will spread the word so others do not rent here either.

MICHAEL SFront end of the truck felt like it was about to fall off. Had to keep the steering wheel left about half a turn to keep it straight. Check engine light was on and they said that was no big deal since 80% of their fleet has it. Returned the truck after the first trip and will use personal vehicles to finish the job. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Joan BMake sure that all of your vehicles are well maintained. I was driving on the highway and the wiper blade came off. Luckily I was able to get to a safe place. Road side assistance never showed up. So some one at the gas station helped me out trying to put it back on. Then about 100 miles later it flew all the way off in the middle of a rainstorm. Road side assistance finally arrived this time after an hour wait. The truck was driving like it was going to shut off I couldn’t get over 65 miles. Never again will I rent from u haul. Penske for me from now on

ANTHONY OHad a car caddy reserved in Akron, only the person that made the reservation messed up and reserved an auto transport trailer instead. Had to go to Streetsboro. The young man there was an excellent representative.
TIMOTHY KA little more generous on the estimated mileage. You have to include miles from Store to where you are moving from, then to the place you are moving to, and then mileage to where you have to drop it off.

JEFFERY HThe moving van we rented had no air conditioning and the vent did not work - no air would blow. It made for a very hot 10 hours of moving on an 80 degree day. When we returned the van and told the employee, he just shrugged and said he'd make a note for the next reservation. The transmission slipped from time to time and the ride was pretty rough. I'll look for another rental van company next time.

FAITH SThe truck was old, scraped all over and dirty inside. It got so hot in the cab while driving I was nervous it would break down! I was shocked, considering the condition of this truck, that I’d be charged for a cleaning fee due to 6 small pieces of rock in the trailer. It was easily swept out. Glad I was there to discuss and dispute it. It seemed they are quick to accuse people of abusing their trucks.

JOHN NReserved a furniture dolly but none were available. Inside of truck had something splattered on the wall by the attic. Truck had cardboard advertisement signs in windows and on seat. Unsure what to do with them so threw in truck next to it

THOMAS KThe return was very easy. She looked at the cluster and said miles were food and fuel level was right and she would email me a receipt unless i wanted a hard copy. So we left. In and out in 5 minutes or less.

JEFFERY HVent fan not working. Driver side mirror only secured with bracket on one side. Truck ran well except for those two issues. Employee was helpful, polite, and quick in getting the rental complete and checked in upon return. Overall comment- these trucks NEED power windows. You cannot open or close the passenger side window without stopping the truck. How much extra is this option??

MARTIN LBetter truck inspection, brake issue with the first one I drove off of the lot. Fortunately I was issued another truck that drove better. Glad I gave it a wash job, as we had to drive at night and the windows had been filthy . I'm sure they had no idea how bad the headlights were out of adjustment. They seemed to recieve my observation well and said they would check them out.
MICHAEL TBreanne H did an excellent job explaining the U-Haul process and how to return it since it was my first time using U-Haul. Breanne was on top of it and was very friendly and made me more at ease with renting a U-Haul. Great customer service! Everything was efficient and smooth!
Andrea GService vehicles regularly or at least review with customer prior to drive away in the event a replacement is warranted. I was given a vehicle that had one light working and strong vibration at each time of breaking - scared the wheels would fall off.

JEFFREY SWhat happened to the rental vehicles having full tanks of fuel? The threat to charge for fuel is always mentioned however, the trucks are never full, ever. Usually a half tank or less. It used to be so easy to simply top off with fuel after use prior to returning. Now Its a guessing game trying to get the fuel gauge back to where it was.
SCOTT HAll the people at this location were friendly and answered all my concerns. Will highly recommend this location. All seemed like they loved doing what they do! Nice clean store. Will definitely go back if needed😊. Thanks much!
JANE BI was disappointed that the truck was given to me with only a half tank of gas. The additional ordered equipment (furniture dolly) was not available at the time of rental. Everyone was very nice and quickly adjusted my bill.
Richard KI was there on the last day of the month (Thursday afternoon) which I'm sure is one of the busiest days of Uhaul's month. You had one team member running the store. He was overwhelmed. He made mistakes on my order (hooked up the wrong size trailer, couldn't locate the one assigned to me, forgot the blanket). Other individual came in and has issues with his equipment. There were 3 people behind me. I was there an hour for what should have been a simple pickup and there was only 1 person in front of me (and they were almost done when I arrived). You need more team members. Also, why hasn't this store had propane for a long time?

ANTHONY WAlways great rentals at Streetsboro. The staff is efficient courteous and helpful. The vehicles are always clean and operating as they should. I definitely recommend them to others.
KENNETH UThe only thing I’m less than pleased with was the $200 charge for roadside assistance when I know they have an extra key for each vehicle at the rental location. I didn’t necessarily need “roadside assistance.” I wasn’t broken down, I was less than a mile away. All I needed was to unlock the truck to get the key. I understand it was my fault, but that seems a little excessive.
