More staff. The staff was on her own because someone called in sick, but there should be more redundancy then just one person on her own. Felt bad for her and she still did a great job but everyone had to wait much longer.

BERNADETTE GAlthough this location was handling a high volume of customers, the staff remained incredibly helpful, professional, and positive throughout. They even went above and beyond by cleaning the back of the 26’ truck, despite the fact that it wasn’t rented from their site, but from the Saticoy location. Their commitment to customer service really stood out and was greatly appreciated.
MELISSA CI rented at this location because the trailer I needed was not available at a closer location. It would have been nice if I could have returned the trailer to the closer location without paying a penalty.

RICHARD KI made reservation at Chatsworth location and I get there they tell me my truck is at van nuys location without any advance notice. Manager at Chatsworth didn't even care. I had to Uber and pay $42 to get to van nuys and they didn't have a furniture dolley as I had reserved. I want a full refund and not just $50.
OMID MThey had some workers outside "helping" but they weren't technically workers and they didn't even know how to get our car off the trailer. It's was all very weird.

ERIK LI rent here all the time today was the first time I ever had to rent a van. It was a bit of an emergency situation. I was able to come in and get the van right away. Made my reservation online got help from the staff because I needed to ask some questions they answered them got in got out. Got my account closed out when I came back. Got my receipt. Everything was great Thank you so much.

They are on top of everything from being friendly and efficient and noticing everything (like when I left a spare key in the cup holder when I returned the truck and they picked it up and stored it in the office and made sure I got it back … I’ve done this twice now)

They also went above and beyond: really helpful when I went back later to look for my lost air-pods; checking the camera footage, looking in the parking lot with me. We also appreciate that they fill propane tanks: we've come here frequently for that service as well.

I am extremely upset and the one person who could have prevented this was whoever was at your desk handling the ID process. I expect you to look into this and get back to me.

STEVEN GI used a U-Haul in December and had a great experience. Easy pickup, easy return. This time, my pickup location was changed literally minutes before I had to pick up my unit (changed at 9:03 for a 9:00 pickup as I was pulling up to the site). So I got redirected to another site several miles away. Then they didn't have the size I reserved a month earlier (4x8) and gave me a bigger one than I needed or wanted (5x8). Finally, though I had already checked in in advance, I had to stand in line for 45 min for them to confirm what I already knew, that I was already checked in. The previous time I picked up, I pulled into the lot, showed my driver's license, and I was out the door in 5 min.

IAN MAll online pre check-in information that I entered the day before was not available when I picked up the vehicle and I had to wait in a long line. The agent recorded that the vehicle had a full tank of gas and told me to return it with a full tank of gas. I started the vehicle and it only had an eighth of a tank. I told them to correct the reading. I added 10 gallons of gas and returned the vehicle with a half a tank full but only got credit for $20.

enrico bI paid for SafeMove as suggested by this location only to have my card charged a week later without me being informed after my final receipt was sent to me showing I paid for the insurance to cover such damage as described on the website. I requested this be investigated THREE times and have heard nothing. Also the first truck’s radio didn’t work so another truck that had just arrived was switched and given to me which was not clean. Being unfairly overcharged, given a unclean truck, no response after numerous inquiries requested and sent to both locations the pick off location and drop off location that charged me additionally a week later even though insurance coverage was purchased at time of pick up in Van Nuys. I am beyond frustrated and will be taking this experience to a higher level due to numerous problems unresolved and unaddressed. I will not be ignored.,Being charged $700+ for a $19.95 truck for a one way trip is beyond price gouging in my opinion but willingly paid and is not part of my complaint but should be noted since I had added charges in addition to initial charges. I am still waiting for an explanation/response and hopefully a chargeback for the additional $45 charged a week after my truck return at the return location. Thank you.
