When I drop it I have to walk far to get my car. I am still tired and I saw additional charge was done. You need to contact Customer and notify about any additional charges. I delivered truck and employee checked and say all was fine.

Well, I first ordered a 20', and was told it wasn't available so I changed to a 26'. PER UHUAL'S SUGGESTION! A rep called me and said that they would do a free upgrade. Fine. I also asked for 12 furniture blankets, two flat dolleys, a handtruck, and an appliance dolly. I booked it all online and confirmed it on the call. I show up at the Uhaul. No 20' or 26' truck, no flat dolleys, and the employee who first looked at my reservation had no idea what was going on. There wasn't even anyone in the office when I walked in and there were 10 guys who don't work for you, annoyingly offering moving work. Nothing with my order was right, so I change to a 15' truck so I can get at least some of my stuff moved, and got my pads, appliance dolley and handtruck. So now there is furniture that I can't move, and I have to do a second moving day, because UHAUL didn't have the stuff that was CONFIRMED to me. You forced me to rent again. Well done, jerks. I'm gonna have to go back to this stupid location again, because who else can I rent a truck from to move 150 miles for about $300? Of course, it's a gamble whether or not anything will be correct. I guess that monopoly is working out for you. I hope you get investigated by Congress. Oh wait, with this Congress?! hahaha. And I get it. Van Nuys sucks. If I had a business in Van Nuys, it would be terrible, too. It's not your fault, right? I mean, that's why I'm moving. It's all prostitutes, and gang violence. I hate you. At least the truck wasn't all banged up like it usually is for a change. Ugh. See you next week.

I made a reservation on Sunday at a U-Haul a little over a half mile from my apt. On the following Thursday one hour before I am to pick up the truck, I get a text from U-Haul saying I will need to go to another location now because the one I made a reservation at was out that truck. The new location was now 5 miles away and an extra 15 minutes drive time-wise to get there...making me spent an added 30 minutes on the road in traffic (and I had to spend that same time returning the truck), to an already crazy day of moving. When I asked what compensation they would give me for my inconvenience and need to now spend more time and money....U-Haul's assistant manager said they would lower the price of the per mile rate from .89 cents per mile to .69. cents. Now mind you I only moved a quarter mile from my old apt. So if you add my whole trip up 5 ways each way...back and forth, that's 21 miles. My original quote would have been 3 miles. 3 miles x .89 cents = $2.67. 18 miles (more) x .69 = $12.42, is how much more I was forced to pay to get the truck. MIght this be a scam????? Forcing you to go to a location further away to get the truck so you/we are forced to pay more in per mileage fees...watch out for this scam and call U-Haul out on it if it happens to you.

The trailer I rented had screws and nails all over inside and sitting outside on the fenders. I had to pick them all up to not get them in my tires

Ok, I'm glad you asked - I've had multiple issues with the truck: 1. A/C (including fan) was shutting off by itself every few minutes, sometimes staying off for as long as 10 minutes. It was over 100F outside, so it was not a pleasant ride... 2. Steering wheel was loose, not responsive and pulling to one side (alignment off), which made the truck dangerous to drive. My commute was on a twisty highway, and I was really struggling to keep the truck in one lane. 3. Transmission was very jerky, would get stuck in one gear, at one point it downshifted so hard when I was going downhill at 65mph it through me forward as if I slammed on the brakes, I think the tires evern skid a little. I would think you check your trucks before your rent them out, but apparently not. It was unacceptable.
