ANA MA pizza box and other trash was left in the truck. We were not instructed to inspect the truck before leaving. By the time we received the text with link to document conditions and reached a point we could respond, the link expired. We were not told the blankets had to be returned. Furniture dollies were not available at the location. The staff were lazy and unhelpful.

KELLY BWhen I called for reservation, I was told that the rental was $47+ to rent for a day. When I went to pickup the dolly I will be renting, I was told that the rent is not the amount I was provided but approximately over $200.00+ since I was dropping the dolly to another location. Just need clarification and written estimates before picking up the rental item so that we, the rentor, is prepared to have options if we proceed with the rent or not and not caught being surprise. Thanks.
ROLAND BNot an issue with the location. Truck transmission went out on 405 near LAX. Had to limp across rush hour traffic with no power to median. Absolutely terrifying with my 9yr old son

ALBERT AI rented a trailer that was suggested for my purpose. I picked it up end of the day before closing so I would have it first thing in the morning. When I got to my destination I found that while the trailer was the right size the opening at the back was not. What's the point of saying the size of trailer when you cant utilize the full size? I went all the way back and asked if I could trade out for a different trailer and was told that because I kept it over night there was nothing they could do!? Having learned my lesson, I waited until the next morning and then rented the correct size trailer which worked perfectly. My suggestions are, when using the online tool to suggest trailers either don't suggest ones that may not fit or have a large warning about the opening and train the employees to give that warning at rental time. I had told them what I was planning to haul and they never said a thing. Also, maybe have the employees be a bit more understanding, of these situations, what does having it over night have anything to do with it, if I have picked it up that morning and brought it back the same day how does that change anything?
SCOTT BThey did not have the dolly we reserved which led us to driving to other locations which also did not have dolly’s. So we added payable miles on the vehicle because of U-Haul error. Will not be recommending U-Haul to any friends or family. Major inconvenience, wasted time, and wasted money.

JORGE HThis place is usually great but I rented two trailers a few weeks ago and the guy Ben who hooked up the trailers was kind of rude both times so I'm going to start using a different location. Everyone in the office was fine as usual but this guy went on and on about my car being slow and his BMW being so much better. When I dropped the trailer off I had it disconnected (all chains & light cord, still on the ball) and he re-connect it to my car & told me to move it to the other side of the parking lot and he said it was heavy and he didn't want to have to move it. I've rented a ton of trailers and I've never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism and rudeness. He lost you guys a customer and I'm sure I can't be the only one he dealt with this way.

ELIJAH FWe have had to use 3 or 4 different rucks over the past few weeks and have had all good experiences with this location. The trucks were clean and had ample fuel. Also the checkout process was easy and the people helping us were quick and knowledgeable. Thank you. Dean Snowden
DEAN SThe wire connector did not work. The worker at U-Haul help me check before I left I took his word but after coming back from picking up my vehicle the break lights didn’t work. I had no choice but to drive the 3 hours back home. I will definitely will not return

DEAN NThere’s several problems. The equipment is extremely dirty, not maintain. There’s illegals everywhere harassing people for work. I even returned the trailer five days early, but they took so long to log it into their computer systems. I was actually charged for extra days. I didn’t have it when I contacted U-Haul and complained about it they claimed they would fix it, but they never did

SCOTT HMy Reservaiton was not fulfilled, I needed a specific trailer and they did not have it ready. Manager tried to switch me to a smaller trailer that was in stock but it would not accommodate what I was hauling. She set up a reservation at another location which cost extra in mileage cost, and fuel. I was in a positon iin which had to take the truck at this first location and then go to the second one for the trailer. She did apply a $50 reimbursement but it still did not entirely cover the cost or make up for the lost time. At the other location in Van Nuys, when returning the trailer, I asked for a rental van to be moved out of my way so i could back out. The Employee told me "If I can't back out of the spot I shouldn't be renting a truck". I asked for the courtesy of moving a rental van out of my way as i had to back the 10 foot box truck out and wanted to be sure not to cause damage to either vehicle. He stated this and then moved the van entirely out of the way anyway. Overall, my worst U-Haul experience.
DAVID KMore staff. The staff was on her own because someone called in sick, but there should be more redundancy then just one person on her own. Felt bad for her and she still did a great job but everyone had to wait much longer.

Armand GShowed up to location at designated time and Uhaul truck was blocked in with no way out. Had to wait over an hour for the shop to open to get someone to help me. Equipment was also unavailable even when paid for ahead of time. Poorly done.

BERNADETTE GAlthough this location was handling a high volume of customers, the staff remained incredibly helpful, professional, and positive throughout. They even went above and beyond by cleaning the back of the 26’ truck, despite the fact that it wasn’t rented from their site, but from the Saticoy location. Their commitment to customer service really stood out and was greatly appreciated.
MELISSA CI rented at this location because the trailer I needed was not available at a closer location. It would have been nice if I could have returned the trailer to the closer location without paying a penalty.

RICHARD KI made reservation at Chatsworth location and I get there they tell me my truck is at van nuys location without any advance notice. Manager at Chatsworth didn't even care. I had to Uber and pay $42 to get to van nuys and they didn't have a furniture dolley as I had reserved. I want a full refund and not just $50.
OMID MThey had some workers outside "helping" but they weren't technically workers and they didn't even know how to get our car off the trailer. It's was all very weird.

ERIK LI rent here all the time today was the first time I ever had to rent a van. It was a bit of an emergency situation. I was able to come in and get the van right away. Made my reservation online got help from the staff because I needed to ask some questions they answered them got in got out. Got my account closed out when I came back. Got my receipt. Everything was great Thank you so much.
