We had a scheduled pick up of 9 am. We got there at 9:05 am and there was no one there. We called and called, there was no answer. We called again about 9:20 and a lady answered the phone. We were like, oh thank goodness you are there. She said I have been here just sitting at the desk. I said, were were there at 9:05 and called and no one was there. She admitted she was late. If you are late, fine, but do not lie about it.

Awesome staff and location. They need more vehicles and options there was only a few things there. They also need more towing accessories like lights, plugs and all that. I went needed a trailer plug and they didn't have any but a broke 1.

Do not scam customers out of there money you greedy mf's. I paid 143 upfront for a 22mile one-way trip. Took 12 of my 24 hours. Picked it up full. Took $7.50 to fill it back up. Returned it full 12 hours early. Took all the pictures. They have them. They acknowledged all of this. Yet still charge me an additional 146 for a full tank of gas and after 3 calls they still refuse to refund me claiming it's an app error and there is nothing they can do about it. Everybody I talk to says it's someone else's problem. No one, not the place I pick it up, the drop off pkace, the people at the 1800 U-Haul number, nor the regional office here. They all say it's one of the others to fix it and no one will. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY WILL SCAM U.

Trash inside trailer when I opened the doors. After loading trailer at home, I checked tire psi. Tire max psi, per tire sidewall, said 65psi max; I found driver side tire at 115 psi and passenger side tire at 78 psi. I have no doubt that driver side tire would have blown, possibly causing a serious accident, and definitely leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I inflated both tires to 55 psi before leaving home. This showed incompetence and negligence on the part of U-Haul employee(s), and could have seriously injured or killed someone on the road.

Stop double charging. I wanted to pay the difference of the mileage (25 miles) with another card and the rep took the whole amount out even though he'd charge my credit card with the original estimated miles and when I went to ask him about it, the door was locked. I will never use this location again.

The service at Uplift went above and beyond but the experience with uhaul was horrible. I needed to contact roadside assistance because the vehicle's battery died right after I picked it up, I scheduled for a mere 2 hour turnaround it turned into more than 4, the agent was insufferable I could tell she worked from home because there were kids yelling and her tv was very loud I could barely hear her and she couldn't hear me because she kept messing up the address. They gave me a $12 dollar credit but I still ended up paying more than 80 for. 29.00 rental. This was overall a very bad experience.

Trash in the cabin. Location closed earlier than I was told by the clerk. Door wouldn't seal properly. Numerous mechanical issues like transmission having difficulty shifting gears. This location is not being managed properly and should be investigated by a third party. Stay away from ALL Uhaul locations in Grandview

No Furniture Dolly was available. Had to use a Utility Dolly instead. Breaks on the vehicle began squealing on the return drive. I asked for a 20' vehicle online. I was asked to use the U-Haul app and it shown a 27' vehicle.

I arrived before 4pm on a Tuesday to drop off the trailer as the website stated they were open until 6pm. They were closed and the doors were locked. No personnel to be seen.

Disappointed with this U-HAUL vehicle experience. Informed it was in a police chase 1 month prior. It had a terrible screeching sound everytime you opened the driver door. Also alignment off with dangerous pulling to one side. Inside cabin was filthy with small amts of trash in side doors. This vehicle should have not been in circulation. Also should have been cleaned. Gas tank was so empty we barely made it to closest gas station after picking up the vehicle. It cost us $80 plus to fill up, and received only 19.63$ in credit for gas, yet required to return it at half a tank. Should have at least been given $40.00 as a minimum for credit. Doesn’t seem right. (Only positive is manager renting to us was left with assistant manager calling in sick, and was kind, yet left to do everything himself.) I’ve always rented uhauls, however may go with Penske in January because of this experience with quality of vehicle and gas situation. Drop off site was nice though and Amanda at return site was kind. She had a whole cart ready to clean. Informed her filth was not from us.

Got charged an additional $32 for fuel after the gas tank was filled to the mark it started at and I even called to confirm. Has not returned my phone call today. Charged $150 for renting a U-Haul for 4 hours. Pathetic. Last time I will EVER use this company.

Non-business hours pickup. The reservation was "lost" took an hour to locate the truck. Once confirmed we were good. But then, we dropped off a trailer in Indianapolis for Uhaul at your request. The GM Antonio Woodward refused to sign the receipt of transfer for the trailer. He was rude and unprofessional. We were unsure if we would even be able to receive the discount for our efforts. We were also told that the Uhaul staff would park and disconnect the trailer and they did not do that. We had to do that. The WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD. Antonio Wooward should not be managing a customer based organization.

The lady who helped with getting our trailer squared away did not know what she was doing. We got the trailer on the hitch, lights plugged in, and chains hooked on but she never tightened the hitch so the trailer was secure. This was my first time using this type of trailer, and I wasn't aware. Thank God it didn't happen on the highway, but once we hit the neighborhood we were loading things up from, the first small bump in the road caused the trailer to bounce off the hitch receiver, nearly taking my car out. The only reason we were able to confidently finish the move was the reassurance of family once we got to our first stop to load gear that it was tightened down now and shouldn't fly off when we got on the highway.

I rented a U-Haul for six hours. I picked it up and dropped it off within the same day. I was charged at pick up. I was charged again 24 hours later, definitely Would not recommend this location.

I ordered an appliance dolly that was not in the truck. It was also a huge hassle using the online check in. I had already previously uploaded my license and everything and then (when its 90 degrees outside) I'm sitting there checking in and it has to verify who I am or something like that by asking other people just because I have a Kansas license and just moved to Missouri and was picking up at a Missouri location. It was frustrating that this wasn't an issue days prior but was now an issue at time of pick up.

Not changing a reservation made a month ago. Not separating pick truck from pick supplies. Give refund from unused blankets, didn’t open or use any. Way to many emails especially if you changed things.

Get the UHaul truck to the facility on time. I was to pick up at 10:30, and he did not have it at 9:30 or 11 (the 2 times I checked). I was able to get back at 1 and it was there.

The tow dolly obviously had not been maintained for quite awhile ! One turn signal bulb was not working and the strap wenches were very difficult to operate because they were extremely rusted. So the clerk there did not check it out well before renting it!
