I needed to have a volunteer pick up a donation for my non profit. While making my reservation over the phone, I confirmed with the customer service rep that this transaction would be charged to my credit card, and not the volunteer's card. Today when the vehicle was picked up, the volunteer was told that they had to use their card. I contacted uhaul by phone four times with no satisfaction. One rep gave me a local number to call that was no longer in service. Another rep asked me if I had the name of the uhaul employee who made my reservation. Ultimately corporate transferred me to the local uhaul location. I was told by Robert that the UHaul policy is not to take cards over the phone. Unbelievable, and if it were true, why wouldn't the customer service reps have told me that in the first place? Very unprofessional. Will not rent from uhaul again.bill R.

There is no customer parking. The price went from the advertised rate of $19.99 all the way to $100 once everything was said and done. That was a financial blow to myself. Your advertising is very misleading.Brittany D.

This was my second worst experience with UHAUL. The store representative insisted to call two of my personal references and informed me that he will not rent the box truck to me if two of my personal references did not answer their phones and verify that they know me. Obviously, my references did not pick up because they are extremely busy with school. The store rep refused to rent the truck to me. Meanwhile, I have already followed the reservation and Online verification process. I uploaded a Selfie, the Front of my Driver License, and scanned the Back of my Driver License through the link that the store rep sent me. He still insisted that he need to verify me with my personal references. I called UHAUL Customer Service to assist in the verification process, and I waited on hold for more than 30 minutes. I wasted 30-45 minutes of my time in the store. I finally decided to call my personal references myself and asked them to leave their busy duties and answer UHAUL phone call. This experience was a total waste of my time, and the store rep was not empathetic towards my need of UHAUL service. Bad representation of a Nationally recognized company.Putue T.

When making a reservation, it would have been really helpful at the time of reservation booking to know you hold an extra $100 if you're using a debit card. Instead of being surprised and embarrassed at the counter.Christian M.

Was told I could not park my motorcycle there at the uhaul location for the couple of hours I was renting a pickup and tow dolly and had to leave my bike across the street at gas station witch was unnecessary by all means they had plenty of parking there on the lot so I don't know why it was such an issueJoshua Y.

Well to start maybe get some HONEST people working there. The lady tried to bribe me for $30 cash to make my credit card go thru after it failed. So I had to on the sly slip her 30 to rent the DISGUSTING, DIRTY, Truck. The WIndsheild was so caked with dirt I couldnt see out of it, no windshield wiper spray. So had to stop before went to far just to see out of it. then The tires were so low with air they were all most flat.. when I returned the truck, the lady double charged me and then charged my credit card Twice and said thats normal procedure. well how can someone be so wrong and the Uhaul is suppose to be a repituable buisness? I think they need to fire everyone there and start new its the only way to save them from going under, especially when they cant even take care or maintenance the vehicles so they are at least safe to drive, I dont think its right, and DONT GO TO 65th street to rent if you want a good truck/van.Cheryl B.

I think the 10-ft truck I rented has a broken seat adjuster - I cannot move it closer to the steering wheel and pedals (meaning that I am not that tall of a driver). Also, the gas caps must be lockable with a simple key lock. I've noticed that the cap was removed when I revisited the place realizing that I did not do the online return process correctly the first time. Overall, still a great rental experience.Jose M.

The staff at the 65th Street location in Sacramento are always professional and kind, the vehicles are well kept and function well beyond expectation. This is the "go-to" spot if someone needs to make a move. Awful experience. The team made me wait in line for 40 minutes even though I told them multiple times that I was doing the mobile check-in and just needed keys. I have done mobile at other locations and it's super easy. By the time I made it to the register, the worker looked at my phone and handed me the keys. SO FRUSTRATING, then why did I wait 40 minutes in line??? While waiting in line, a woman who had just been helped walked back in to ask for help locating her truck. The worker went out to help and when she came back in she said to the entire room, "Leave it to a woman to not be able to find something that's right in front of her." No one laughed and we all stood there awkwardly. What an awful human. After getting the keys, we went to check out the truck and the gas was on empty, which is not what you want when renting equipment. We opened the back and the two dollies that we requested were missing. I waited in line AGAIN to get our dollies and the worker asked us to get the dollies for her, had me jump in the back of another truck to get them. Would never come to this location again and I will be telling people not to rent from them. I will look for alternative options, U-Haul is just not it anymore.Karla Z.
