Get anyone else besides the person who helped me. Literally any other person would be better. I regret going there and will never return. He was extremely unprofessional and lewd (he discussed female genitalia with his coworker openly), he was distracted and took sooooooooooooo long, I almost walked out, and he kept calling me Doug. â€œHere you go, Doug.â€ â€œYou're good to go, Doug.â€ My name is Tom, I repeated and spelled my name to him multiple times during the process and he took pictures of my license. He kept reminding me how much time he had until he was off. Didn't even go over the truck with me. I thought I was good to go, but turns out I was supposed to check the truck, document the mileage, and look for damage. He should have reminded me. When I returned the truck, the woman who helped me wanted to know why I said I was glad to see her and not the man from the day before. I wasn't gonna bother telling her, because there was someone standing right there, but she insisted that I waste the next customer's time and explain why I wasn't happy with dude from before. The entire experience makes me want to tell everyone I know not to use Uhaul. I'm glad my partner wasn't with me to hear the vulgar conversation.Thomas M.

Regarding 9-foot cargo vans I have been renting each April for several years, I'm not a fan of the GMC model ... reduced visibility in the cab, â€œswingingâ€ side doors (as opposed to the single sliding door), etc. Would strongly prefer that my future rentals involve the model I got in 2016, 2017 and 2018 â€” I believe it was a Ford Transit.Jeffrey W.

went into the store to pick up the truck I'd reserved. Employee was sitting behind the counter staring at the screen. after several minutes of being ignored I realized she was on the phone with a customer and had a bluetooth. really, it takes nothing to look up and indicate I see you and will be with you soon. then the whole mess of getting a text to upload a driver's license which took a couple minutes and logging on to u-hauls guest wi-fi. finally, after returning the truck after 9 miles and putting a gallon of gas in, another employee told me the charge was $11 more than quoted. when I asked him why he told me it was for gas. after I told him how far I went and that I just came from the gas station a block away he said he would "waive" the gas fee. all in all, not a good experienceGREGORY S.

The U-Haul Location on 65th is amazing. However your customer service call Center's are terrible. Last year I spent over $9k from my company to you. And now I can't even rent a truck for longer then an 24 hr period. I have to book daily trucks and then told me today I'm Not allowed to do that. Your team would rather them sit or possible rented out to a family than take multi day rental from one person. What is the sense of that ?Adam C.

Since my last rental a month ago, this locations policy re customer parking has changed. Parking across 65th street and walking over (if you use the light, which I did since 65th is incredibly busy) and walking back adds a minimum 15 minutes to the rental. The outside of the trailer was so dirty you couldn't tell it was a Uhaul trailer. I washed it myself because I didn't like the idea of pulling a dirty trailer. When I mentioned it to the attendant, she said they didn't have the means to clean it, which was odd to me the outside ofRonald B.

No one way drop for just 70 miles away should not cost as much as it did no free millage for return trip and truck had 1/4 tank of gas and when I brought it back I had 1/2 tank of gas you guys took me for 45 dollars of gas and 2 rentals with no drop you guys a rinky dink company and would not recommend I want me 45.00. I was extremely disappointed with the 24 hour pick up online registration process. I didn't like that you had to give 2 people's phone numbers so uhaul could call them at 7:30 am when I wanted to p/u the truck before the uhaul location opened. It took us about 45 minutes to get through the registration process while we waited in our car, in the cold. Next time uhaul should have the 24 hour p/u registration service available to 24 hours ahead of time, from the comforts of one's home so this doesn't happen again. I will not use this service again, nor would I recommend it.Bernadette T.
The associate was incredibly rude when we asked a question regarding our rental. In addition, we went to fill the gas up and checked the gauge while refueling so we didn't over pay for fuel, and the gauge is modified so it never shows a half tank. We ended up paying for a full tank of gas when we were only provided the truck with half a talk. Others have complained of this practice. Will be taking to better business bureau.Issac A.

They told me all trucks come with 1 half tank. The trunk was on empty. I filled the tank and return it 3/4 of a tank. The told me they don't give refunds for gas. It''s in the contract. Being the mgr told me that all truck come with 1/2 tank constitutes a breach of contract. I am unhappy that they can't pay me for the $44.00 I paid for gas.MICHAEL P.
Reserved a truck 1 week in advance. Truck was not available when I went to pick it up. Had to travel several miles to get a truck from a different location. That location never answered their phone. Called several times, waited on hold for several minutes and always got disconnected. They charged me for all of the miles when the first location told me I would get a miles discount due to the reserved truck not being available.
