The inside of the truck had dog hair all over the seats and smelled like dog and cigarettes. The gas meter was supposed to be on full but when me and the GM checked over the vehicle it wasn't and he was supposed to update the gas meter but didn't so I got charged 42$ for not filling the meter to full.JAMIKA O.
Never had a bad experience with U-Haul till today. First my order was cancelled . So I set up another pickup. Went to pick it up , and was told I couldn't because the truck was for sale and not rent. So the clerk( she was awesome) referred me to somewhere else to pick up a truck 3 miles away. Went there and someone was already getting the truck. Went back and finally got scheduled to pick up a truck at 1:30!!! My original start time was at 8 am , so you could imagine after all of this my entire move in was thrown off. My help had to leave because it had became too late . And I barely had enough time to move thanks to how this started.Je'Rontai M.

When a customer returns something check it in at that moment because 50 things are going to happen and it will be forgotten. The customer will have to call in and be in hold for 30 mins to correct it. Very annoying.SEAN M.

We paid for 2 sets of moving blankets. 1 package was damp and smelled so bad that we could not use any of the blankets in that package. A) the smell was truly awful B) the moist blankets could have ruined my wooden furniture. We asked for a refund on that one package and were refused. They only said that they didn't have a machine to wash them. Bad customer service over $10. The money should have been refunded.TERRENCE G.

Communicate better! I placed a reservation one day and when I called back to confirm the day of pickup, the company couldn't find me in the system. When I was able to speak to someone, the young lady said that the person who made the reservation sent me to another location (without my knowing) because they were over booked. When I went to the other location for pickup, the place was closed that day so I went back to the original place and was able to rent a truck. The customer service was nice and pleasant.KEISHA B.

Shaheem and the trainee were exceptionally helpful. Most times when service agents are training you get poor service and you just have to bear through it but the trainer and the trainer had great communication, pleasant personalities and made the experience quick and easy. I left my garage opener and called back the next day and spoke to Angel. She definitely didn't have the customer service I received the day before. She was impatient, unpleasant, and did not show concern for my issue which remains unresolved.KEIA M.

Reserved a truck on the app which IMMEDIATELY charged and authorized my credit card. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was asked to swipe my card again, resulting in ANOTHER charge/authorization for the same order number. Don't use the app. Just show up to the location and rent in person. The young women working here have TERRIBLE attitudes. Guy with the dreds is ok I guess.ATIF R.

I was told the price was $133.67 get home and get a bill and the bill says $144.67. Also, they sent me a receipt that cannot be printed as a large document. Sent me a receipt that is not legible when I print it. I would appreciate a receipt send in a word document so I can have my receipt and whatever price you tell the customer that is the price they should be charged not adding additional charges when they leave. The wait delayed our start. There was only one persons working the counter and he was overwhelmed. Put more staff on the counter and get your customers on there way. Additionally, this was NOT the location we requested. I had to take an UBER to this location which was 20 miles away. The truck could have been delivered to the requested location to accommodate the customer and not UHAUL.Jason S.

Shameen was AWESOME!! The gas gauge on the truck need to be calibrated because it was off which led to me purchasing more gas than I needed to return the amount to it's original level. I should be able to get a gas credit in the amount that I would have been charge if I was short the same amount that I was over.AKILAH J.

I was very upset and this was my first time renting a Uhaul truck. Getting the truck was not a problem, but when I returned, the gentlemen who cleans the trucks, told me that I was going to be charged $25.00 for not cleaning and wiping down the truck. OK! the problem with that was that my husband and I cleaned, and brought the truck back exactly the way we were given it, we put a half tank of gas back in the truck and swept it out thoroughly. The guy who cleaned the truck told me that if I gave him the money he would clean the truck, of course you know I said some choice words to him, because not only was he trying to put money in his pocket, when I got loud with him he changed his mind and told me don't worry about it he would clean it. I wanted to report him because I'm sure he is doing others the same way, and this is not right. He wanted me to stay quiet because he saw the lady who worked at the front desk come outside and he did not want her to know what was going on. I did not get his name but I hope all of the other workers are not trying to swindle other customers the way he tried to get over on us, there's no telling how much money he has taken away from Uhaul. I am very upset right now and will use another area if there is a next time!JOYCE W.
