I recently rented a truck from this U-Haul location and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience from start to finish. I completed Express Check-In before arriving, but when I got to the location, there was no clear direction or assistance. Multiple employees walked past customers without greeting or acknowledging us, and I waited more than 15 minutes before receiving any help. The process was confusing, with staff giving conflicting instructions about where to find my assigned truck. After being sent to look for it myself, I was later told it was located in a completely different lot. The location appeared disorganized, and several customers were standing around confused about what they were supposed to do. Customer service was minimal, and basic communication was lacking throughout the entire process. The truck itself had a strong unpleasant odor, and the floor area within the vehicle was slippery, creating a potential safety concern. I also found it strange that I was not asked to verify mileage or document the vehicle condition during pickup or return, so I made sure to take my own photos and records. Returning the truck was equally frustrating. I was told to wait outside in the Florida heat for 10–15 minutes for an employee to process the return, despite already parking the vehicle in the designated return area. The entire experience felt unnecessarily complicated and inefficient. The U-Haul app was actually the easiest part of the rental process and handled most of what I needed. Unfortunately, the in-person customer service did not match the convenience of the technology. I hope management works on improving organization, communication, and customer service so future customers have a smoother experience.

I had a really bad experience renting a truck from U-Haul at this location.The truck itself did not feel safe to drive, especially the brakes. Every time I tried to slow down, the brakes felt weak and delayed, which made driving stressful and dangerous. It honestly felt like the vehicle had not been properly inspected before being rented out.

The truck was clean, but the steering was so loose. Had to get comfortable driving it before I actually used it. Which caused me to go over my miles by 5 or 6 miles.

The only thing I enjoyed about my experience at this location is that the team members are very kind and helpful. However, the check in process wasn’t easy. I chose mobile and still had to go inside. The truck broke down on us, which created an extremely stressful situation. When we went to turn the truck in, the system was down. But I do give praise to the folks that work there. They themselves were helpful when I interacted with them.

Unfortunately they had my reservations wrong twice. I went to the location and made the reservation and still they put different times and dates. First was fixed but when I went the next day they had the wrong day and time. Then there was no truck available. After my frustration she miraculously found a truck but time was different on paper and I was charged double . I’m so done. Horrible experience

If a customer brings back the truck with more gas than what the truck had. The customer should be given a refund for the difference. That’s what I think should be improve.

I had not very good experience with the track. I was afraid to drive because the track was very old, it was shaking, and was not safely on the road.

Would have given an excellent if it wasn’t for the young lady who I had to have a lot of patience with to get the receipt. Please train this young lady on proper customer relations, service, interaction, tone, when interacting with customers. I did not appreciate being spoke to like a high school kid. On the positive, the one gentleman who helped with the dolly drop off in the parking lot was exceptional! He helped with the walk around review of pick up pictures to drop off status and cleared the equipment turn in. Also helped with unhooking off my truck and positioning into the lot for next customer. As soon as he was done with me, he was in the move to the next customer. The whole time I was dealing with the young lady’s attitude, I never saw this gentleman slow down once, he was either moving a truck, dolly, answering questions or something. Always calm and he just got the job done.

The Latin young girl the one she attended me she was very rude and unprofessional I didn’t like the way she treated m, hopefully she gets fired, because there’s a lot people looking for jobs and they can be deserve better this job and treat better to the customers.

The woman who attended the business did not have the education to say hello when my partner and I said good afternoon on 2 occasions, then she was not at all cordial when explaining and simply said things like a robot and that's it. Very bad customer service

I have had two great experiences at this location. Every person has been so pleasant and helpful. The nice young lady at the desk suggested a better trailer with a ramp when she learned we were loading a motorcycle. The young man that installed my hitch, he helped with the ball, we had to flip it because it was too low. I will keep coming to this location for all my moving needs.
