Trucks were completely covered in snow and we needed to wait for windshield to de ice. However, the snow happened the night before and we had an early morning pickup. This was just more of an inconvenience than the fault of uhaul.

The only complaint I have is the kid that helped me expected me to go find the truck instead of bringing it up to the front of the building. Also it snowed yesterday and he didn't clean off the snow on the cab, windshield and below the windshield where the vents.

I asked if the agent if the tire pressure was correct and told it was When I got home, I checked it and it was about 15# low. As far as I was concerned, this was unacceptable and a safety hazzard. Had I not checked it and put air in the tires, it could have been a problem as, we were traveling about 1500 miles.

really liked the on-line option to reserve a trailer. However, the folks at the location still went through the fairly detailed and time consuming pick up procedure. The place was busy so took some time to get the paperwork completed. Just thought that since I filled in all the information on-line including my credit card, I don't understand why I needed to go through this again at the location. Seems there is improvement here. Folks at the location where great and assume they were following the rules so assuming Uhaul might want to look for improving and speeding up this process. thanks

Make sure any body damages to vehicle are noted even before handing keys over. I never received a picture verification on my phone, representative did not walk out to vehicle, there was existing body damage.

The building and the operation is awesome however they only have one phone that you can scan with and one of the workers was tied up over 45 minutes with that phone doing propane. They need another phone. Only other thing is I did not realize that you have to rent a U-Haul a week in advance for a one-way trip. Thank God your local U-Haul dealers found me one somewhere because I got no help from reservations. So as far as the facility and the people there they were awesome. Just have some equipment issues. And as far as the U-Haul organization with notifications for the reservation line I'm not real and see used with them. I

I rented a 20ft truck, drove it to my house 3 miles away. Spent all day loading it went to start it and the battery was dead. No lights were left on, I called the help line was on hold 30 minutes no one ever answered. Got on line to U-Haul help they dispatched a wrecker, 1 1/2 hours later they showed up and jump started it. The wrecker driver said don't shut it off it may not start again. I had to call and extend my contract for a day because of it. The next day it started and I unloaded the truck at my destination only 8 miles away, the engine light was then on. I returned the truck clean and well taken care of just to discover they charged me for 3 days instead of 1. They did correct it but I was, am, disappointed with my experience.

I was charges for 3 gallons of fuel to do 7 miles. The manager requested me to move my truck after being told I could leave it there. So I had to drive back to move the truck at cost to me. Meanwhile, my job took longer and customer was pissed that I had to leave and come back.

enclosed trailers light system is not upgrade for newer vehicles hid light systems and the old bulbs is causing vehicles system to keep flashing burn bulb on trailer. annoying and would make it harder for customers to know when i did go out

We had several charges come in after we dropped the truck off, we dropped it off a night early after hours and had to pay a $22 fee, then they charged it twice citing we had "2 separate contracts" which isn't what we signed up for- we only had one contract. The manager refunded the 2nd fee for us which was very considerate!

Originally rented a trailer for two days but finished with it early. I returned trailer after 26.5 hours, but was charged for two full days PLUS an after hour charge for $20 because I didn't do a self check in… didn't even know that was a thing. I've been a frequent renter at U-haul, and always have been treated fairly. I feel like on this occasion, I was overcharged for bringing something back early. I just don't feel that was the right way to treat the situation.

Employees seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. Told me the dolly that I ordered online wasn't available there was a dolly in the back of the truck. He couldn't figure out how to check out packing materials I ordered online. The other employee was complaining loudly to a room full of customers about how bad the staff at another uhaul location in the area suck and are mean. It overall was poor service.

I was told the gas tank was full when I took the vehicle out. I only drove it 17 miles but refilled the gas completely full ( around 4 gallons paid for to refill). When I asked how I used 4 gallons for only driving 17 miles, I was told only refill up to the full line. I just feel that this is a slippery practice that is commonly used. I have frequently rented out vehicles over the last few years to transport purchases back to my home. Just feel like I'm being taken a bit on my decision to use your products.

The truck we had did have an issue starting where it was a 5 minute battle jiggling the gear stick to be able to turn the key.
