Ensure the antenna is on the vehicle. I only received reception when in a city. Any of my highway time was spent silent because i had no radio. It was AWFUL!!!!!

Check engine light was on the entire. Was told by employee it had been like that for a long time and owner knew about it. 144k+ miles on vehicle. Thankfully local move. Lock on back rusty - I couldn’t open it or close it on my own. Thankful my son and his college buddies were there to help me There were plenty other trucks available - can’t imagine why this was the one I was given

Trailer was dirty inside. The clerk forgot my blankets after I asked her about them twice. She said I was all set, I got to my destination to load and I didn't have the 24 moving the blankets that I paid for. I called and they would not deliver them to me in town.

I went to the wrong location for the reservation, and they went ahead and took car of me so I didn’t have to delay the rental. Super appreciate of the Spruce Hills and Davenport locations for getting this done. Will definitely be using you in the future again. Tim Worthington

The fuel tank was on 1/4 tank. When I inquired about the fuel he said to take it to the next U-Haul on 1/4. I drove about 25 mile from Bettendorf to Geneseo and the gauge was near empty. I had another 150 miles to go so I figured the truck Was a gas guzzler and filled the tank. After unloading furniture and finding the return U-Haul , I noted the gauge showed 2/3 tank. So I basically bought a 1/2 tank of gas I didn't use. The attendant their stated they rent with a full tank and return the the same. I've been renting trucks and vehicles for 60 years and have never had the arrangement of trying to guess the gas miles in order to determine how much I need to put in the tank.

Truck was terrible. First, they gave me the wrong truck, so I had to call and let them know that. After that they didn't take the truck I was supposed have so when i called customer service they thought i had 2 trucks (which i did not.) I asked about a veteran discount because penske and budget both give a discount, he said he gave me 10% off which I have not seen. I won't be going back to this location for the foreseeable future. I probably won't be going to uhaul again to be honest..

The interior of the windshield was very dirty. I had to clean it myself. There was a long wait to return the truck. Nevertheless, the location is convenient, and Hertz only had one location with a pickup truck and a hitch, so I would recommend.

The Customer Service Associates at the store were very helpful and friendly. They made picking up and returning my U-Haul an enjoyable experience. I was initially hesitant about renting a vehicle, but the folks at the store put all my worries to rest. They are excellent at their job and I will recommend the Bettendorf, IA U-Haul store to everyone I come across who are in need. Thank You Bettendorf, IA U-Haul!!

Vehicle was reserved ahead of arrival and always has been setup for me and running to keep it warm when they handed me the key. Though I am a customer who comes over every year for my needs, the gathering of additional data on myself and a family member to contact and photo copying my drivers license into their recording device was new to me though I can understand why they may need to gather more information to protect their products and services. Nevertheless, the guys are always their to help you move through your experience with sincere professionalism and my pickup and return process has always been smooth and without delays.

It took 40 minutes to pick up my truck, and I was the only one there. The computer system was acting strange, a key to the truck I was supposed to have was locked up and no one could get it to, UHaul headquarters finally had to push my order through, and the two young kids working we’re frustrated and had tried everything. The owner, instead of coming up to help them, insisted on just texting them. He didn’t even know the code to his own lockbox! The kids working tried four combinations that he had sent them. And not once did anyone offer me any thing off the price of my rental. Because this took so long, I lost and hour of move time with my movers I hired and my friends who offered to help us move. Absurd!

Check engine light along with a wrench dash light came on while driving. Got a phone call that my truck was due back, when I already returned it. Miles was incorrect on paperwork when picked up. Charged for pass, when never used them and for 2 dolleys when only had one.

My rental request was upgraded due to lack of trailer I requested. It was indicated that this was at no extra charge. At pick up location the cost did not reflect same agreed price. Computer system did not cooperate at facility. I replayed per voicemail the Uhaul rep indicating this agreement and the employee corrected the price. They were very cooperative but indicated this problem occurs often with out dated computers being the problem. I have and will continue to use Uhaul for my frequent cross country needs, Thanks.

When arrived for pick up. The only agent at the counter was on the phone. There were 3 of us in line she we all waited 10 minutes before another man arrived coming in with 2 coffees from starbucks. The other agent was still on the phone. The truck I was given had a check engine light on plus another wrench looking light. The alignment was way off as the steering wheel had to be turned aprox 1/4 turn to keep the truck straight down the road. Upon return I sat in the truck for at least 5 minutes waiting like the sign said to do. No one came to check the truck back in I had to go inside to find the agent on their phone playing a game he didn't see me pull up he said. The customer service at this location is horrible. None of these employees would work for me ! The equipment issues are just as bad. How can you send out trucks that aren't maintained properly.

The truck had only 1/4 tank of gas in it. This is not very friendly for me to rent a truck and have to put gas in it before we even get going. When saying something upon return the check in guy was a smart aleck.

From the bottom of my heart I truly thank those that helped me with getting the truck. My situation for an apartment I needed to vacate immediately wasn’t ideal, but never in customer service have I had this experience. We were treated amazing when we got the truck and upon returning it, the gentleman there were the nicest and made my day genuinely better. Hopefully someone seeks this so they can get properly recognized as being a glimpse of hope. I work with the public as well, and we just know when someone needs that extra smile their way. I needed that, and the men working there are absolutely incredible and I’m so thankful that they were so kind and generous

I returned my Uhaul 10-21 at 5:30 pm. When I arrived, the seem to have trouble checking in the truck before me. I waited for a LONG time. I was told they were having ISSUES. They asked me to come inside because the online system wasn't working. went inside & they tried to check in the truck. Several ERRORS. I was VERY UPSET. Time is precious. I have lots do with moving. They told me to go ahead & leave. They would send me a confirmation. I really didn't feel right about just leaving. Finally at 6:50 pm I received a receipt. This was the worst UHAUL experience EVER!

Honestly, I wish I had gone to this location to pick up & deliver the trailer to. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. Returning the trailer was very easy as well. It also had supplies I could've used.

Consistency on what's accepted would be nice. I am a casemanager for adults with intellectual disabilities, and I've never had trouble with using their debit cards for their moving expenses before. I understand policy changes, but then I wasn't even able to forward a lease of mine via email (A scanned one with actual signatures on it) over as a second form of ID when asked if I could use cash instead. A fellow casemanager came and forked the cost, but we were told I could later then change the charges on to the card I had. Well, come to find out I couldn't so the fellow casemanager had to fork the cost. This note is to advocate for the fact that the population we assist with do not have licenses and thus not able to move themselves, relying on us to help. Thanks

My rental request for a pickup truck was confirmed, yet they had already rented it out and I had to switch to a cargo van. Also there is no parking at this location so you have to park a block away on a residential street and walk there to get your moving truck. No troubles with the vehicle or checking in/out.
