JORGE AThe entrance is not displayed well. You see a one-way exit road and then a equipment return road and then Wendy's. In order to get back to U-haul, you have to go down and make 2 U-turns at 2 lights. It was hard to take the before pictures because you have to stand back very far and the trucks are packed in like sardines and there is no way to get before pictures.
Aliceson PThe concern I have is with the customer service. The two ladies that work there on Nov 1st appear like they are doing us a favor. They don't show interest or excitement on their job. And it appears how they communicate and show eagerness to help depends from customer to customer. As a business owner, if I see this is how my employees act towards customers, they're definitely will be rated 'Not Meeting Expectation' and will be on a performance improvement plan. A little bit of 'I'm here to help you' could go a long way for the customer to come back and establish a longer business relationship with your company. Saying just go grab the keys from the lock box is not the best way to serve someone who's just showing up to the business. I had to walk around the lot to find a lock box until the Lot attendant (the guy who probably parks the tracks in the right location showed me where the lock box is.) The lady could just say 'there is a lock box on the wall as you exit to the right of the door' would've made it simple. I also like to mention, the guy who attends the Lot is very helpful, communicates with a smile and would do a better job behind the computers being the first guy that a customer faces.

MOSES NHelp U-Haul inform customers that trailers currently are not eligible for auto-check in so someone doesn't spend 10 minutes trying to scan the QRC trying to do so!

DEBORAH SMake sure the lock is unlocked so I don’t have to make a unnecessary trip back to get it unlocked on the back. I have yet to be compensated for my wasted time and gas and no one has reached out to me.
ERIC SHad 24 trailer rental. Returned trailer 13 hours EARLY. NO ONE checked in the trailer after hours! I was charged $20 plus tax for turning in trailer early so the uhaul could rent it out one day early. I got ripped off.
PRASSERTH YIt is pretty deceiving to start with a $19.99 for 4 hours and end up with $120 ... the employees are at the store pretty much to tell YOU what to do. They not even noticed the truck we got was behind the other trucks and have to wait for them to move it and finish with the picture process, which delayed me even further ... no parking for customers WOW
Martin BOverall service was professional and good, however a third employee would be best. Having only 2 individuals who are suppose to handle customers, service/check in trucks is not sufficient. Creates longer wait time despite the good service given once being helped.
Monica STruck was clean. Just a truck with previous damage and a transmission that was a bit off. Although not used, the radio had some sort of electrical issue resulting in the screen blinking on / off. The staff we interacted with were knowledgeable on the processes and equipment rented. They were friendly and made this rental experience generally good.
John PYour process can be better. Use tech in the right way, Time is a factor which you fail to take into consideration.

JACK GPerson working the check out was not at the desk, I had to go looking for her and when she finally came in she was on a personal call that continued for at least 5 minutes before she helped me. She was on a personal call when we returned the item as well. The trailer was clean but rusty and hard to open/close/lock. The young guy helping her was really good and efficient.

Robert MWe use this location as it is close to our office. The customer service is almost non-existent. We have to perform virtually every step of the process ourselves. Maybe this is the route all uhauls are headed... If there is an employee standing right at a computer, why do we have to stand in front of them and do everything on our phones? We already made the reservation online. Then we have to go get our own truck, take our own pictures. When returning, "just leave it there, we will get to it an email you". How can I trust that an employee may charge me for something I did not do? Employees seem 'bothered' that they should help a customer. Not only us. You can see this towards other customers. I miss the days when 'we will be glad to take care of you' customer service meant something.

ANDREW TMy second time, and just as good as the first time. Jose (the taller Jose;-) was outstanding, and onboarded, and had the van ready, in less than 15 minutes. The 8004 Sudley Road location will continue to be my choice for future rentals.

DAVID EThe 2 young employees were superb, considered the rabble that came in on a Sunday, all at one time!!! They handled themselves efficiently and very professionally. The one gripe I have is with U-HAUL Online - extremely frustrating and a disastrous link between the Mobile App and the branch system. I reserved and pre-registered using the Mobile App, and then had to repeat everything in the branch; and the web app, seemed to have a bug in it, since it kept crashing at the last step (approval)!!! I will not use the Mobile app again, and come in to the branch to book, and become part of the rabble hoards.

Bruce SWhile the vehicle was clean and well maintained, a better job of cleaning the bug splatters off of the windshield would be appreciated.
Peter CThe pickup was a little too streamlined and non-informative. They simply handed me the keys to the rental van. No orientation, no details. They provided no details about the after-hours drop-off. They made it sound so simple: "just scan this and it will take you to the site" to complete the process. And they didn't say there would be a fee for dropping it off. The web registration and sign-up were a little too mysterious and technology-driven, which later proved to create problems when we tried to drop the van off after hours. We scanned the image, but the website kept saying it found no record for me. We spent about 40 minutes there late at night trying to check the thing in. Very frustrating. Finally, the staff there needs to be a little less cavalier about the process, including renting, pickup, and drop off. That said, the van was fine although I ended up putting more gas in it than when I picked it up!

JOHNALLEN WGot a price based on 50 miles prior to accepting, when i returned wuth 47 miles, the price was $30 more than the price i was given. The rep had no explanation. Not happy. Also, the optional coverage of $15 dollars, itsnt optional on a pickup, according to them, so the price isnt 19.95 its 29.95.
Kevin MOne should feel welcomed upon entering. And interacting with the staff. Staff seems to tight. No personality. A warm atmosphere goes further then a cold one.
RAYMOND HI rent this truck to pick furniture and i have to take route 66. This truck is not safe to drive on the highway at all. please fix it. it a disaster waiting to happen.

DONALD HThe young lady was there alone moving around vehicles and organizing trailers that had been dropped off. She quickly helped attach the trailer so I could move my things into storage. She did an excellent job, thorough and professional. She deserves special award and a raise!
TANYA NThe people worked on the deck especially the female on Sunday 8/3/25 she was disrespect women maybe because Sunday or something else she speaks own language when asked her she said your truck blacked with another truck so what is the problem give me another one . The way talked like she is favor . The app was so bad too many questions and pictures pick up time and drop off

William RChecking in on site, they just have you check in on your phone. So, if you choose to go inside instead of in the app, and wait in a long line, then them just having you check in on the phone seems stupid and aggravating

MOHAMMAD YPoor customer service. I chose checking at the desk. They told me the scan a QR code and I had to do it all my self. Didn’t pull out the truck or explain any thing before hand. I don’t know why the guy was. Completely unhelpful. When I dropped off the car there was no check in process just told me to leave the keys in the truck and go.
