I had a great experience. I was getting a new mattress as Memorial Day is one of the biggest sales on Mattresses. It would have cost me over $50 for the delivery and it would not be delivered for 2 weeks. I paid less than $30 for picking the mattress and box spring and delivering it to my home. I only used the truck for less than 1 hour but it was well worth it. I think I only put 12 miles on the truck. Everyone was nice and the truck was ready as I requested.Joseph F.

I dropped the trailer off after they closed and was unable to use the App to return the equipment. I called the next morning and notified the office staff the trailer had been returned. For some reason the return was not recorded until 2 days later and I was charged for 2 additional days. I am still working to get these additional charges removed.Brett H.
William Burton was abhorrent! He was so damn lazy that he didn't even go over the safety checks. He never told us about inserting the cotter pin that prevents the ball and socket from sliding out of the hitch. We almost died on the busy I-10W freeway before the LaPlace exit because the hitch slid off and swung the trailer back and forth on a busy highway with our vehicle attached to it!! Even the police and the tow truck guy couldn't believe that the Uhaul rep didn't teach us about the pin. So the fact that he didn't check to make sure the signal lights were working properly either should not come as a surprise (we had to remind him to do it). An awful customer service experience! Would definitely not recommend this location off Veterans Blvd due to safety concerns!!Kinnah H.

First off I had a great experience in store with the lady that took care of us. Secondly, the truck had a little less than half of a tank and the app was not letting me take a picture or anything when I first got the truck. So I just left it alone and didn't get a picture or anything. I finally decided to take a picture when I thought about it 2 miles down the road. Just 2 miles. It was still below half tank. The paper work when I looked at it said there was over half a tank. So I had to spend $12 to put gas in the truck to go only 9 miles for an hour and a half to move a dresser. So I spent $42 for a $19.99 truck that I took 9 miles to move a dining room table into my home from a neighbor because I knew no one with a truck. I had to fill the gas up to what the paper said because you would charge me $4 a gal for gas. It's not like gas isn't already gouging us. So I think it was wrong that I had to put more gas in than I used. I put $12 in for a 9 mile drive. I was gone an hour and a few mins to just pick up a table on veterans blvd to bring to my house on vets right ip the street and I paid $42 for everything. Don't mind paying the miles but the gas is what got me.Kimberly Q.

The general manager who has been an employee for almost 30 years he was kind helpful courteous and he made our entire experience a easy and happy day. He even checked the bathroom before I went in to use it to be sure there was toilet paper. And even the bathroom was tidy. I had a reservation for 7:00pm pickup and was running behind and when I got to pick it up around 9:00pm the app showed my pending reservation but wouldn't let me get it. After I pulled away from the Uhaul it popped up and then told me they cancelled my reservation. It would have been nice to have known my reservation was cancelled before I showed up.Jonathan C.

The customer service representative at this location was one of the rudest people I have ever met. He did not bother to say "good morning" or "thank you." He mumbled instructions to me. No manners whatsoever. He apparently hates his job. The truck steering wheel had obviously not been cleaned as it was grimy, something not very good in this time of COVID 19. The truck had only 30 miles of gas left so I immediately had to fill it up. When I called to confirm my reservation the day before because I was told I couldn't be guaranteed a truck, I was on hold waiting for someone to pick up for 53 minutes.SANDRA H.
