I rented to move from New Orleans, LA to Lafayette, LA. I was very surprised that I was restricted by mileage and had to pay because I went 1.5 additional miles. How can U-Haul restrict mileage? How do they know exactly where my house is in either city? Very disappointed!

Felt like my Cc was being copied ! The cashier first asked for my credit card security code and all of that information/Data was in my registration from the day before! The credit Card machine advanceed up to the point of Yes this is the correct amount !! I hope that I was just mistaken ! Regards Mr Brian Lord

The driver's side strap was 6 inchers to short on the auto transport had to buy a ratchet strap to get it to work. I was reimbursed for the price of the ratchet strap. My charge card has two pending charges on it One from when I picked it up and one from when I dropped it off but besides that everything was great

Vehicle did not steer well and did not seem safe. Customer service was not good, I was unsure if my credit card has been obtained, if I was finished with checkout process, etc and the staff member did not communicate this nor really talk with me about what was going on.

Reserved a truck on Wednesday and when I went to pick up it up Friday had to settle for a van----the job could have been completed with one trip but with the van had to make two trips---NOT GOOD.

My pickup date was set for 4/7/16 at 10am. When I walked inside the General Manager assisted me with getting the truck. He then asked me if I was picking up the auto transport now or later and I asked if I could do so later. He said that this was fine and I asked what time do you close so that I know when to be back. He stated 7pm. I then came back to the location with the loaded truck and a family member followed with my car that was going to be towed. The gentlemen outside asked of how he could assist me and I told him that I was here to pickup the auto transport and load the vehicle up. He told me to head inside that he would be right with me. Once inside a women asked how she could help me and again I stated that I was here to pickup the auto transport and load the vehicle. She asked what was my name on the reservation and I told her my name. She then says we have a 8am appointment to pickup the transport set for you. I told her that I did not make that appointment that I was here now if we could just do it now. She stated that we are closing in 10 minutes and we can not help you to come for the 8am appointment. I told her that once again I did not make that appointment and that I was leaving in the morning to Dallas at 5am so 8am would not work that I was there now. She again said we can not help you we close in 5 minutes. This became a huge inconvenience being that I was having to push my trip back 3 hours and I also was not going to have no one bring my car while I drove the truck to load up in the morning, but this did not matter to her because they were closing. So I left flustered and not happy. I then returned in the morning driving my car first to the location. I then took an Uber to my house to pickup the truck to drive over. Once arrived the General Manager assisted with hooking up the transport to the truck. I asked him afterwards where he would like me to pull up to get assistance loading the vehicle on, in which he replied we don't do that. If you would help with that it will be 20 dollars. I told him no thanks. I then had my father leave work to help me load the vehicle on the transport. My frustrations begin with the General Manager not telling me that I should have come within a certain time limit to get the assistance to hook up the trailer to the truck. Then followed by the woman working there so focused on them closing and not worrying about me the 700 dollar paying customer and inconveniencing my move. I planned to leave early to avoid traffic in both the Baton Rouge and Dallas areas and by having this so called appointment to get the 5 minutes they gave me to hook up the trailer the next day I sat in 3 hours worth of traffic. I didn't arrive in Dallas until 9pm which was 8 hours off the original arrival plan.

I have been charged $10.00 for the blankets in the truck I did not use. The person that did the inspection didn't notice they were not used. I haven't had the time to go and make a claim cause I have been sick and did not notice the change until my boyfriend gave me the receipt.

The equipment was clean at first but then it started raining and a puddle started to form on the drivers side and my furniture was a little wet because the back had a leak or two. When we were done unloading everything the latch got stuck and we couldn't close the door for the back of the uhaul. Also when I returned the the uhaul at the location they took forever to come out and assist me and when the guy finally came out to inspect the uhaul he was on his personal cell phone and I was trying to ask him a question. I thought that was rude to begin with if you're at work.

When I checked,my truck was just pulled up on the side.No walk around to check for damage or miles or gas.My dolly was not in the truck,had to come back for that(even though it was on my contract.(Shouldnt I recieve 50.00?)When I brought it back I was charged for dbl the miles and your sales ppl were rude and snippy about it.I wouldnt send ANYONE there!

The location in Kenner swapped the keys at the counter and clearly gave me the worse uhaul. The brakes were barely working and abs, park brake light, and brake need service lights were on, the suspension was rough, and the door weather stripping was worn to the point air was rushing through and doors were vibrating. The truck was severely body damage, including damage to the fuel tank. Trash was left inside the cab from burger king. The uhaul rep didn't say anything to me after pulling the truck up. I didn't even know that it was for me until I matched the milage to the truck.
