I want the wiring to put outside the hitch when i got home its inside , they did not tell me also , when i got home i call them and they just said its not possible to my car crv and promise to call me back but they did not do also. but the reality is possible , its more work maybe thats why they dont put it outside . I will go back tomorrow to back job the works.

I was supposed to be charged per kilometer and they charged me a higher rate per mile. I was quoted roughly $200 and the bill came out to about $500 I will never use U-Haul in my life again next time I will be trying out enterprise

We have selected to return the truck at Warden, but then we received a message saying we agreed to return it at Weston. Nobody ever called to check if we really wanted or if we were able to return it at Weston. This location at Weston is very crowded and confusing. The experience with u-haul itself was very frustrating

I'm really upset with U-Haul and will never use your service again. I made the reservation with the Queensway location and then called on Thursday to confirm the pick up. The lady who works there told me on the phone she will call me back to confirm that the truck will be there on Saturday. She did NOT call me back. Later in the afternoon on Saturday I called again and was redirected to your call centre. They confirmed, and send me a text confirming it too, that the truck will be at the Queensway location on Saturday. When I went to the Queensway location on Saturday, the truck wasn't there. I was told to go to the Weston location. The Queensway location then pointed out that a text message was sent to me Saturday with the information that the pick up location was changed. I did not read this text message Saturday morning. I should not have to. If your company is going to make a substantial change like this, you should have the decency to call your client! My disappointment is not with the Weston location, but rather with the lady who works at the Queensway location, and with U-Haul in general. I vow to never use U-Haul again.

Best rental experience I ever had! The rates were amazing and the customer service was great. They were smiling and positive the whole time I was there. Only need for concern is returning the truck. Some customers lewve the return anywhere and block the entrance. Thank you all for your help.

Please ensure the mileage is calculated correctly. I was almost about to be charged 900 miles when in fact I only travelled 25! We had to bring in the manager to rectify this issue. The starting mileage was not inspected. The contract was also not printed or reviewed with me prior to the rental.

Unfortunately, truck was muddy, parking lot is too crowded and hard to manage. One attendant in the facility was very helpful and Kim [call in help] were great.

The brake cylinder was not full of brake fluid not allowing the brakes to work at all. This resulted in a near miss that could have been much worse. The lack of interest from the maintenance staff will keep me away from that location and I will be more vigilant on future rentals.

#1-Place to park your car. More staff to help people get keys in their hand faster ( I had movers and moved only 80 percent of my stuff as workers had to go, that extra time I spent trying to get keys also=increased traffic. I had scheduled my truck for 9 was the first one in and didn't get keys for over half an hour. However the main staff was worthy of praise ( the only inside staff) she was ' grace under fire ' she was professional, skilled, she helped about 9 people all focused to get the keys in hand quickly find the link to use online sign in.She expertly helped even the least technology skilled ( me) while simultaneously helping others who had no data or no reservation. I was frustrated with this self sign in ( as time intensive)but very lucky I had her calm and helpful ( even when people anxious and grumbling) assistance. She even moved a truck blocking another customer truck and calmly washed her hands like it was nothing! Just thought 1 extra staff would of helped ( think 1 staff outside he was also professional/helpful). What great staff but need one more for busy weekend mornings. I still need to rent a small van to get the rest of my stuff moved unfortunately. I will go to the other bigger Weston road location I have used multiple times. Otherwise great staff and price. Thank you

Reservation was confirmed and ready to go. Arrived at location and my reservation was not confirmed. I had called Uhaul prior to pick up date to ensure all was ready to go as I also got movers lined up. Uhaul app was not working and there was a line up. Movers arrived at my location and I still did not have the truck. I have never experienced this with Uhaul at other locations. I will never rent at that location again. My day started pretty bad and it was unnecessary.

Was quoted price at 99 cent per km when paying was told 119 per mile which was never quoted. when We arrived to pay there was a staff outside moving vehicles which I get, however person inside was in the far corner and stated she was on break I told her I wanted to pay and was told again that shes on brake mean while 2 more customers came in.I had to get the person outside.

This location was very crusty, dirty and old.. It was a sunday at noon and the worker man that greeted us from the onset didn't listen to the details When i arrived i tried to tell him about our unique rental situation and our discount and he was extremely dismissive. it almost felt like he couldn't hear the voices that don't belong to other men.. He refused to let me tell him what was going on when we arrived and when i told him that there was a note about our vehicle trade and discount he really didn't even look it up - he simply told me I was wrong and there was no discount- he refused to look into it further and stood and looked at me blankly. I asked to speak to a manager and he said there was no one else i could speak to. I asked him to call Lachine and he refused. So my partner and i took things into our own hands and made some phone calls. LUCKILY while that was happening the other worker who was at this location free'd up and i appealed to her. She was much more amenable and a delightful woman who took an extra second to read the notes in our files. WIth in minutes she had sorted out our unique rental situation and applied the discount. The other issue is these guys told me the insurance i bought didn't protect me from aesthetic issues with our crusty van- which was crusty to begin with - sooooo the man tried to pin a bunch of scratches onto us> i explained there was no pictures or a walk around in Lachine and that the van was exactly the way it was when i picked it up. They dropped their attempt tho. in the end the woman closed our file in a way i expected. I would look into this insurance scam tho- why did i pay for full insurance if uhaul is gonna try and scam me for damage?! very frustrating. This dude needs to learn his job better. very upsetting.

The customer service needs to be improved, I was behind schedule because they failed to check me in in time (40 mins behind). I also didn’t get the cargo van I wanted, I had to get a 10’ truck even though I reserved the cargo van days in advance. Very poor customer service!!! Then I got charged an extra $80+ for some unknown reason after I left.

The closed trailer I had booked 3 weeks in advance was given away to someone else on the day I showed up to pick it up. I even called them in the morning before going to their location and they didn’t say there was going to be any problem with availability. And of course this location was the one U-Haul changed to, much further than my preferred location that I chose online.

Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent rental experience. I usually rent Home Depot vans without any issues, but unfortunately, my decision to try U-Haul this time was extremely disappointing. First, I was overcharged for mileage. As shown in the attached pictures of the dashboard, I drove 102 km, which should be fully covered within the 150 km free allowance you advertise. I should not be paying any additional mileage charges. Second, I was charged for a dozen moving pads that I never requested. The assistant simply handed them to me without ever mentioning that they were a paid add-on. I accepted them under the impression they were included in the rental, yet I see them added to my bill. Third, I was charged a shocking $201 for 7 hours with a 9ft van driving only 102 km. This pricing makes no sense at all, and I expect a proper breakdown and correction of the charges. To make matters worse, I attempted to resolve this over the phone with the rental branch. The CSR initially placed me on hold, then disconnected me after 10 minutes. Since then, I have tried calling multiple times, waiting up to 30 minutes each time, but no one ever picked up. This is unacceptable service. I am requesting: A correct calculation of my rental cost. A refund for the overcharges, including the mileage and pads I never asked for. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I expect a prompt resolution.
