The van we rented smelled really bad. It smelled like a horse was in there. Please considered air freshener. It really stunk like poo. I am not joking.

Hi, I arrived at the location yesterday morning to pick up a 15 foot cube van for my move and when I informed the woman behind the desk she asked for my credit card and licence. I told her that I had already done an express check out on the website and she purposely ignored me and repeated to see my credit card and licence and the whole time looking away from me and talking quietly. I told her again that I had already done an express checkout online and she asked for the phone number and I told her and she brought the information up on the screen. I asked her if it showed that I had already submitted my credit card # and licence# and she did not answer. She inputted all the info. again and had me wait and then she had me swipe my credit card after I authorized it online through checkout express. When picked up my truck I asked if I could leave my car in the spot of the truck and she told me no and to go park on the street. When I returned the truck I saw customer vehicles parked on the lot. I had to take my vehicle home with me because of the poor treatment. My moving day was stressful enough and I don't feel that I was treated right at all for the service I paid for. Was served by a young woman she had a very poor attitude. I wanted to rent the 10' van. First all was good, then she couldn't find it in the system. After 10 minutes of trying to figure out why it wasn't in the system she offered a van. When I said ok, she looked like she hoped I said no like she didn't want go to the process of renting me the van. The van smelled like it had been smoked in. Upon returning the van, the person who services it, yelled at me because I going to park it into a parking spot, there was another 2 rentals already parked in the service area, how long am I supposed to wait for him to finish cleaning those cars? Terrible, should of went with my first instinct and waited for the Lowe's truck.

I have been charged extra for supposedly not refilling your gas tank to capacity before dropping off the vehicle. Please be reminded that I have a signed copy which shows that I got the cube van with the needle between 7/8 and full. I am sure that is where you got it today. You have charged me $24.00 because the needle was not registered full, when I never got a full tank. I am also sure that I did not use up all the mileage that I was slated for and given an approximation for. The problem i have with your location and another operated by Indians is that you leave the gas level below full on purpose. When the tank is full , the needle will even go beyond the last graduation. In that way, all I need to do is to leave the re-fuelling pump on (at the gas station) until it shuts off automatically. You expected me to full your tank when i did not get a full tank from you? This is fraudulent and I will report to to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. They will rent your vehicle to see the practice I could bet my life that you will give the next customer the same level of fuel and then charge him or her for not totally fulling upon return. Is this how you get your money/profit ?. I have always wanted to support black business but this is the lack of professionalism you all espoused sooner or later. I rented from UHaul operated by white people and ALWAYS GET A FULL TANK. I now know where to take my business next time. Thanks.

Service during pick up was okay, million times better than Friends Auto, however instructions given were fairly minimal. I shouldn't have to find out from a sign on the overnight dropbox that I need to return in person again next day. Could have been mentioned when key was given. Mistakes happen but very inconvenient.

My reservation was for 11 am. Confirmation noted 12 noon. when we got there it was 12:30. Van did not show up. So they finally arranged for another van. Appreciated them finding us a vehicle but it seemed like bad planning. Upon returning, the vehicle, receiving agent was going to charge us for damages because they had not been documented in the system for this vehicle. Could not reach pickup agent. Frustrating that Calls were being routed to international agents on phone. Said we would be called back. We were not. Ended up sitting at road's edge/drop off agent's location for over an hour. Finally reached the pickup agent who verified to the drop off agent that the damages were from previous rental, but he ran out of stickers so they weren't documented. We should have noted them on the schematic at pickup, but were assured by the pickup agent they were already documented in the system. Huge pain and time waster for us. toll free customer service agents were amazing! On site agents seemed quite clueless and not empowered. Additionally - our original km allowance was quoted in miles - again we were assured it would be converted to kms and we would be fine. Upon return we were charged for an overage (because the kms were more than the # of miles quoted). It was resolved and we were reimbursed, but was just another inconvenience and several phone calls I had to make. I have rented from UHAUL before and never had this kind of poor service. Not sure what was the problem but I would seriously consider whether or not to use UHAUL again after this experience.

Very polite and kind customer service agents who work with clients to satisfy their u haul needs. The service providers at the weston/albion location were helpful and knowledgeable in guiding customers to make the right decisions based on their specific needs. The agents who the take the orders over the telephone were the best. Using this service for the first time was the best decision I made because it saved me financially and the vehicles were in good condition to satisfy my u haul needs. Thank you guys.
