We booked in advance for a uhaul truck at a location close to us, as well as 2 furniture dollys, which were essential to our move as we had to walk across a parking lot to get to our moving elevator and have very heavy furniture. I received a message in the morning, an hour before our pick up time with a different uhaul address and an incorrect time. After calling uhaul and being told I would be able to self check in no problem on arrival, I showed up to a huge lineup out the door at the uhaul location, no self check in option (as the time was incorrect), no dollys, and no place to park (which was not specified in any communication ahead of time). The fact that there were no dollys made customers angry and it was a hostile environment, staff and patrons alike. The staff were also rude. Upon returning the truck, we had to wait in a long line again just to get the dollys removed from our receipt. I don't see the point in pre-paying for something that may or may not exist. We did not have a good experience with uhaul and I don't know that we'll ever be back. Thank you for taking the time to read this. We hope this feedback leads to future improvements at uhaul.
Don't overbook vehicles and equipment. This is poor business etiquette and it put me in a really difficult situation for my move. You need to be better, I will not use UHAUL ever again after my experience of being promised certain things multiple times (ensured there would be no issue) and UHAUL completely not coming through.

One person serving 10 people lined up on a Sunday , is not acceptable. It is horrible business practice. We waited over 1/2 hour to be served. We were therefore late in leaving for our site. The tank was only filled to 3/4 of a tank. We put in gas at 3/4. When we returned the van, we were told we did not put in enough gas. We were charged an exorbitant fee for the extra gas. This is a scam. We were told that the gas tank should be filled and it was not. This is again unacceptable. I would like a discount on this purchase. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Customers should be made aware that there is a $150 deductible on collision waiver when they are offered the insurance.
Your customer service agent was very rude and didn't care that my order was not fulfilled. Very bad experience. The equipment that I had reserved was not available at the time of pick up. Because of this I was 2 hours late returning the truck. You should let your customers know if you are unable to fulfill their order so other arrangements can be made. Huge inconvenience.
Person cleaning the truck did not wear a face mask much of the time. Inside the store was very crowded and there was no physical distancing. Only one employee helping customers inside the store - not enough help.
Work on the mileage, compare to others too high.. overall great..
There was a problem with the left mirror in the truck that was only perceivable when you were in the highway. The mirror was a bit loose and when you go above 80K/h, the wind push back the mirror making it useless and kind of dangerous because you were not able to see if there was a car next or behind you on that side. So please check it to avoid potential accidents

The location is tricky to find. Google said "you've arrived" but my driver had to search another 10 minutes to find it. I had reserved 2 dollies and a hand truck but we only got one dolly. We were told "that's all you're getting". It would be good to have pictures of the dollies and hand truck to better understand what we are getting.
This morning I received a call at 7:00 informing me that my original pick up on Rowntree Road (5 minutes from my house) no longer has the truck I required because the previous owner did not bring it back. I had to drive 30 minutes to another location and start my process all over, was charged the same mileage fee and the lady said I still had to bring it back by 12:30. I asked for another hour just in case I couldn't make it by 12:30 because of the location change and she said no. That is not fair from U-Haul to change location and still not accommodating my needs which were deduction in mileage cost and extended hours. The lady who served me was very rude and inconsiderate. The only person who was nice there was a gentlemen when I returned the truck. He deserves a raise!!!
When you reserve a dolly and expect a dolly then it's important that it's there for the customer upon pickup. The first come first serve approach is unacceptable. Buy more of them I cant even believe I have to write a review about having inventory of your products.
Very disappointed with this service . Very rude lady at the counter . Couldn't take 1 Min out of her time to explain anything or even show / tell me where the truck was . U haul also canceled my booking and re booked me a truck 1 hr drive away from where I was to collect and return . I don't drive so had to pay for Uber to location twice and they changed my time so I missed out on collecting a couch and bed . Such rude employees on the phone at DuPont location also
I wasn't happy about going across the city to the west end to pick up the truck as I live in the east end. I reserved it weeks in advance and have a location 5 mins away that I selected to pick it up. I can't understand why I had to add over an hour and a half to a stressful moving day. This has nothing to do with the pickup location. Just the dispatcher who couldn't find a truck in my area.
The entire reservation experience is extremely inefficient and does not guarantee the the truck or equipment your renting will be available at time of pickup.
The lady at location was very helpful.
Park the trailers so people not accustomed to towing a trailer can reverse straight back.

Truck we ordered wasn't in stock, smaller truck we got arrived late and was given to us in five minutes so I'm not sure how it was disinfected properly during this second wave of the pandemic.
