The truck smelled like urine. Check-in was ridiculously ineffective. The attendant made us do it all online while sitting looking at us and not offering to serve us. There were other customers that she was also ignoring. Perhaps some customer service training would be helpful.

when i rented the van, i was told that the charge is .99 per km...looks like i paid 1.19......i need an explanation for that. also, i brought back the van at 715pm on saturday evening ...i was within my 24-hr rental period. Yet I was charged 20.00 for after service hours.This should have been waived!! oterwise, all was good.

Morning service was ok but slow since there was only one guy working the counter. Drop off in the afternoon was slower even though there were two ppl at the counter (internet issues I think). But the two employees didn’t communicate to the customers. Not a worry in the world to them. They didn’t care to explain or reassure customers that they were working on a solution or anything. Not so bad for me since I just told them I put the trailer back. No one even came to check on it. Strange way of conducting business. Customers were rly frustrated and I can’t blame them. Need better ppl at the front desk in the afternoon. Morning guy was good though.

first of all the front door could hardly open properly. there was only one attendant serving customers and her computer wasn’t working properly. My poor husband waited patiently rhen someone proceeded to say they wanted to purchase some items then completely jumped the queue to hire a vehicle as well!!! another poor customer just wanted a four dollar box but no one wanted him to jump the queue either! big companies like this have o stop trying to push people to use apps for the communist agenda coming and get more staff to help run things!!!! the girl serving us was amazing ! and handled things really well. she deserved a medal.

visited two locations (355 Weston Rd, Toronto, and 2753 Weston Rd, North York). At the first, a staff member who barely spoke English repeatedly pushed the app, which is unusable and crashed. After a long wait, I was told my reservation was at the other store. At the second location, one person was overwhelmed serving 5-6 customers. Your app is terrible and needs urgent fixes.

I had reservation at 7:30AM. However, I left store with a cargo van at 8:00AM. Why the delay, the internet in your store broke down as a result the store was all pack with customers and you only had 1 employee at the front desk. There were customers with and without reservation. I made my reservation and fullfilled all requirements online, I only needed to pay and pickup the van. 2 lines, 1 for customers without reservation and 2 line for customer with reservation would have been more appropriated.

The truck smelled of body odour from previous customer, truck was broom swept but not smelling fresh, I was almost gaging the whole time i had the truck, the steering was off and pulling to the right. When I returned, I brought my complaints to their attention, and they really didn’t care about what I had to say. The lady at the counter said she received the truck that morning and she said it was fine. Also I was over charged for gas consumption, as the initial reading on the gas gage was not accurate. I have previously rented from that location, but I’m wondering if I would go there again. Overall I was not happy with the vehicle and the service. Tony

Subject: Concern Regarding Poor Customer Service and Unfair Cleaning Fee Dear U-Haul Customer Service, My name is seef Elmi, and I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at one of your locations. I would like to start by saying that I have no intention to be disrespectful or judgmental, but I believe in providing honest feedback to help improve customer experiences. During my recent visit to your office, I was met with unprofessional and unfriendly behavior from the two staff members present. They were dismissive, lacked basic customer service skills, and made the entire process uncomfortable. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and I was treated in a rude manner throughout the transaction. Additionally, the van I was given was not cleaned properly and the fuel tank was not full when I picked it up. Despite this, I made sure to return the vehicle in good condition. I even cleaned my hands after use to avoid leaving any mess behind. To my surprise, I was still charged a cleaning fee, which I feel was unfair and not reflective of the condition in which I returned the vehicle. I respectfully request that this fee be reviewed and potentially refunded. I also urge you to provide proper training to the staff at this location to ensure all customers are treated with respect and professionalism. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The truck itself was fine, but this location's customer service needs to improve. When customers walk in and the Rep is busy with another customer, it would be nice for the Rep to acknowledge that there is a line and they will be assisted shortly. Once the keys for the truck were provided to me, there was no communication from the Rep advising where the truck is located, what steps the customer needs to do next, etc. I have used other Uhaul locations that have always provided quality customer service, but the experience at this location was not like my previous experiences. Will avoid this location in the future.

The black guy is goo but unfortunately he need to take a break he is very nice, but the lady is not she is not helping, she almost let us wait for almost 45 minutes she is mean, she is not approachable she is busy talking in the phone she wasted out time there. So the other black guy who went for lunch is the one helping us to go through we are very frustrated to that lady.

The representative was not very attentive and was too busy watching Instagram on her phone while talking to the customers and very cold while assisting me with a "there's only 2 options, either yes or no". Didn't inform me of the return time, after me asking for a whole day rental for the trailer. When returning the trailer, the representative was more attentive, smiled and provided proper information and assistance.

Fix your truck. pulling all over the roads, very dangerous to drive. Passenger mirror keeps moving on its own, due to damaged. gear 2 tend to gear down all of a sudden on cold runs, transmission definitely needs attention. overall this truck is junk, very bad experience this time. don't rent to anyone before you get sued. take it on the highway for a drive yourself.

I had issues checking in and picking up the keys to my reserved uhaul vehicle (although it was a last minute booking, and the pickup time was after office hours). Fortunately uhaul customer service was able to resolve the issue as soon as I was able to get on the phone with them. The staff at this location weren't the most welcoming, but they know their business really well and were able to give me an extension on the vehicle without any issues.

Firstly, I was second on the line but it took me almost 40 minutes to get served. I understand the attendant was new but someone has to be on the side guiding him rather than inconvenience the customers by waiting for so long. On a good note he was polite and apologized for keeping us waiting. Secondly, a lady eventually came and served me after realizing the queue was almost going outside. This lady is very rude and I do not know why she is in customer service. Lastly, the truck container was not clean at the back. I do not know if this is standard practice but a quick sweep and mop would really go a long way rather than the customer having to go and start doing that before loading their belongings. I will not be going to this location again especially with how rude the lady who works there is.

The cube van was not cleaned after its last use, before it was dispatched to us. There were still crumbs in the passenger cabin, and there was a box of leftover used clothing still sitting in the cargo area, along with some paper on the floor. Other than that, the customer service experience was good, and we got through the rental pick up experience quite quickly.
