rented a 15 foot truck, and while in use, I left the emergency lights on for one hour...when I tried to start the vehicle, the battery was dead. After I called them to see if I could get some assistance, the manager told me it was common to burn out the battery if you leave the emergency lights on...that's a lie. Only a battery with low life and poor maintenance would that be the case. A 12 volt battery can last hours with car lights on, not to mention emergency lights. I wasted an additional two hours of my time trying to get a friend/family to boost the truck. Not only did the manager not help at all, he provided no assistance of any kind, blaming me and telling me I should call a mechanic and pay for it myself. On top of all that, when I finally got back there, he blamed me in front of the next customer(who was waiting) for being late! He fully charged me and did not apologize once. Extremely unprofessional, I would avoid at all cost.

We rented our storage unit for 13 years at this facility. It was always very secure, clean, and accessible. The staff here were always helpful. I would definitely recommend this location! Excellent in every aspect. Thank you!

The communication between locations and HQ. My truck wasn't ready at the time I got there for the first place and then I needed to go to two others place to finally got my truck because I couldn't make a one way trip with my truck ate thte first place. I lost 2h30 that day. but the last place was alright, nmo problem.

There was not used cargo vans on St. Jacques close to my place. I need it to pay more for the service, because the pick up distance was at Dollard Des Ormeaux. I don't think it is a fair!

The guy told me to come back before 9pm if I wanted to do the checkout with him. I got there at 8h30pm and nobody was there so I had to spend another half an hour taking pictures ect in the cold, parking safely ...ect

Needs faster and more courteous service. It took almost 30 minutes to rent the truck. The u-haul rep was explaining basic things like having a driver's license on me , as if I was a teenager... taking all his time. On return I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up at the counter... and when told that I was waiting for a long time, he said "I know" without apologizing. Good trucks but poor customer service.

Staff were rude i was told one client in at a time which is fine of course but then when i am in the next person was allowed to walk in behind me and shop around we did everything on line to have a speedy check in but we had to do it all over again at the counter - staff were rude when i asked why - i was told that s how it is and if i dont like it to leave we have rented u haul three times in the last couple of months the best location service was on the 13 highway have a good day

There was no electricity at the location but by switching the rental to a mobile pickup, I was able to pickup my truck with no problem. You guys have an amazing mobile pickup /drop-off experience.

Good points: - Clean vehicle, worked as intended Weak points: - Typical cash grab, the $19.95 rental ended up costing me $124, including $25 charge for "end of rental processing fee" because I didn't use the app to check in the vehicle upon my return (I had 0 idea that this was required, and was never informed, nor was it on any document i signed... i checked). Wrote to the branch, no response. - Gas tank said full, but I don't think this was actually the case. I drove 83kms and needed to fill up 26.32L of fuel lmao. I doubt the van is 3L/100km.... Something fishy about this whole thing. Overall, as a first-time experience using U-Haul for my move, I would not recommend. It's a shame too because I still need to rent vans for at least 3 more weekends to complete the move and this place is conveniently located. But $19.95 advertised to $124 charged is just outrageous

We rented 24 pads, but only received 12. Didn't realize this until going to return as we didn't count them as we were using them. Lesson learned. Still waiting to see if I will be charged. There was a small fuel spill in the cargo bay. The store employees didn't seem to think this was an issue. Unfortunately it would be if it soaked into my boxes! A slight attitude adjustment needed on the part of one employee as he was somewhat impatient with my concerns.

your mobile app pick up needs improvement it took me almost 45 minutes to get approved because either the app was not working or the web link was not working and after that my selfie was not clear ( what do you expect at 5 am to have sunlight) and than to phone my alternate contact who is my wife at 5h30 am when she was sleeping with our 4 month old... and after to ask for my passport even though i have provided with my driving licence finaly i found a friend who was up at 5h30 am to be able to answer ... this was crazy experience and i will not repeat it i prefer to wait until location is open

Big error on my invoice. This was 5 hours renting, self service, and paid 250$, when on the truck it is written 19.95$. I expect my inovice to be fixed.

I found that 8am opening hour would've been better than 9am. To take advantage of a full day. There was also a lineup which I lost 19 minutes. The manager asked a clerk to go with me to the truck, but ended up just handing me the key as we went out the front door, and didn't inspect truck together, missing a dolly that was on the floor. I don't recall renting one. Upon returning, nobody there to answer questions, so wasted time calling 1-800 to be told to put the dolly in front cab, because I didn't want to be responsible for theft as there was no lock for the dolly in back. At no time was I told of the Hours of operations (5pm?) and meant electronic return. $290 for a 10' with multiple trips is way too expensive. You had no 15” (turns out no 10' either) at another location which made me have to pick the DDO location. Several km out of my way. Outside of this, we'd consider using the service again.
