I rented a box truck for less than four hours from the Dollard, Quebec location on Friday, March 28, a dry day, no wet pavement. When I got in the truck I looked at the gas and the mileage which corresponded to the paper that I had signed (the agent advised to make sure all was correct). When I drove to the location where I was to pick up items for transport, I opened the back door and there was remnants of mud smear all over the box floor. After I made the delivery, I returned the truck back to the location. The office had many customers before me and also waiting after me. In order to accommodate customers quicker an agent asked me for the keys to the truck and they would send an invoice to my email, he did not have time to go over the truck with me. I didn’t think it would be a problem. Unfortunately they charged me an extra fee of $50 dollars for cleaning the box. That is unfair, we did not do that, it was a dry day, and had I known UHaul would have done that I would have taken pictures before I left. Advice to all; take pictures of the entire truck, including dash for mileage and gas, exterior of vehicle and interiors of both cab and box. I am currently working out this problem with Customer Service for U-Haul.

Caring to be clean drive cabin in the truck Inspected the truck with the costumer before to rented. Because I must to take a video.Warm up the truck, remove ice from the windows so the windshield wiper fluid can flow and isn't blocked by ice, and use a rear ramp. When calculating the charge, use miles, not kilometers, as this could lead to confusion regarding the final charge.

Lying to customers that if they take the insurance they fully protected bringing in the car with no windshield water and then trying to charge you for $2510 for damage that by the contract should have been a deductible of $250. Big no no!!!! I hope the dispute I opened will resolve if not I will see you in court! Including customer protection filling and any news station will hear my story before moving date in July!

Better organization of reservation. My pick up location changed to another location over an hour away, this change was made less than 20 hours before my reservation time. Upon requesting to change my pick up back to the location I originally requested, the rep said I couldn't get a 20 foot truck, I'd have to get a 15 foot truck at the pick up location I selected, but my original reservation was for a 15 foot truck. I dont know how I was downsizing or why I was put through the headache and scare of my pick up location changing when the truck I originally reserved was available at the pick up location I selected in the reservation I made months ago. Very confusing and unclear and a waste of my time.

Better communication, I’ve not been informed about the address changement and I have to spend 2 hours and 50 dollars on taxi that I’ve not been refounded, the truck it was under the snow not ready and there was not equipped for the occasion. When I ask the staff to do something about they just said " there isn’t a way for you to do it? " just carelessly.

Shannon Cater was amazing and Ibwas running late for the trailer pick up and she kept my reservation. I also didn’t know that I had to bring it back to their location that same day and hadn’t prepared for that so Shannon allowed me to return it the following day at the same time at no xtra charge . I have nothing but good things to say and her staff too.

Took 45 mins and 3 trucks later to finally get the truck. Very dangerous friend fell through floor of truck and there was a massive hole. Almost broke his leg. Employee at return very rude and didn't care that someone got hurt.

I clean my documents but they they charge me for no reason I don’t know why because some two charges they charge me for one cleaning for $25 and overnight for $20. That’s sending not make sense I drop last night I pick up yesterday early morning around 9:30 I drop at 7:30 but they charge me no reason money Too much. I don’t like it they work.

Vehicle had alignment/front end suspension issues. Vehicles should be held to higher maintenance/safety standards. There were only two staff members serving customers so long wait times. The app was useless because at the end of the process I still had to wait in line to talk recieved my keys from a staff member. Also took ten minutes to get rental approved through app, so might have been quicker to go to counter in the first place.

You need to indicate on your website that 4 pin harnesses are required. Technically you owe me $50 because you didn’t have equipment available for my rental, as an adapter for your trailers are part of the equipment that I shouldn’t be buying.

The truck I rented was not full of fuel at pickup. The gauge indicated full. However, I had to add over $50 of fuel into the tank. There is no way in hell I burned 8 gallons of gas during the day. Furthermore, the gauge registered ABOVE full after I filled it. I pointed this out to the agent upon return, and was asked if I had taken a photo. I didn't know that was something people normally did to protect themselves when renting vehicles; and I have rented them all over the planet. But I'll do it with U-Haul if I ever use them again. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

The manager and employee representative that serve me were outstanding. They made sure that I was completely satisfied with the product as well as making sure the truck was cleaned and ready to go. I had to remove the snow from the Van. I am paying for a service and I have to remove the snow on my own. I had to take pictures of the van because I didn't take the insurance. I believe that all the pictures and paper work should be done by the owner, not me.

If the reservation is during open hours please make sure the reserved truck is not behind or blocked by other trucks. As well, please make sure that the truck is not frozen when the customer uses it.

I found tge facility clean,nicely heated,seems safe to store because theres camera,u need code to enter etc… the onlynthing the employee seems a but stress as he gave me the infos for my storage and the ramo.Howevee ,it was my first time,I had a hard time finding ramp to put my items which was frustrating.For that I do not think i would recommend this place to a friend.

Easy, efficient service. I rented two storage units yesterday and the transaction was perfect. I don't recall the name of the young woman who served me (and showed me the lockers), but she had red hair and works out of the Dollard store. She was very pleasant and helpful.

La possibilite de reserver en ligne et au telephone la meme unite d’entreposage pose probleme. En effet j’avais loue et charge mon camion pour livrer mes biens a l’unite que j’avais reservee en ligne pour decouvrir a mon arrivee que mon unite n’etait plus disponible, quelqu’un l’ayant reservee en ligne! Heureusement la gerante du site m’a gracieusement offert une autre unite legerement plus grande au prix initialement agree.

The website mention that we get a month free when we rent a truck, but once on the premises, I was told I was not having a month free because they were almost full and then said because I was dropping the truck back to the same place. I thought the website was misleading. After explaining The manager offered me the month free. It would also be nice to explain which truck have a ramp or not to load. Our truck didn't have one and the unloading stations for 2nd floor at the warehouse for the truck I rented was broken and the other needed a ramp, which made it extremey difficult to unload our thing to put in the storage, we were storing very heavy equipment and lifting it 2 feet high just to put it on the dock was hard and took us more time. We were very disappointed for that.

J’ai perdu la clé du casier.j’ai donc demandé un « cutter », celui qu’ils avaient,était très usé selon mon fils.il a donc été chercher le sien et Il a apporté aussi une meule électrique dont il ne s’est pas servi puisque le cadenas a cède avec le cutter.Ils étaient trois pour le déménagement.Quand ils ont quittés ,il n’y avait aucun dommage. Ce matin j’ai reçu une charge de 150.pour bris! Je me suis rendu sur place On me refuse l’accès me disant que ça a été réparé hier. Je demande une photo elle me montre une photo sur son propre cellulaire qui n’a ni date ni no de casier!!! J’ai avert Visa ,ils ont inscrit qu’il y avait contestation Comme j’ai 80 ans j’ai aussi communiqué avec le groupe d’avocats qui quand on est membre de la FADOQ peuvent nous aider gratuitement. Ils trouvent la preuve que m’ a présenté Sheena n’en pas une et comme j’ ai trois personnes qui ont vu le dit casier,vous devriez arranger les choses Janine Lebel

I used this facility to park my vehicle in the yard for storage. I choose this location because it had a secure gate, however after a couple months the gate always remained 80% open which made me feel that my vehicle was not secure due to the fact that anyone would’ve been able to enter and exit.

I made the reservation on-line and it was displayed on the website for the first month qualifying for free, so I applied for self storage. When I arrived at the facility, the staff told me that they do not give a free month and that if I want free I should go to Laval or Lachine and they made me pay for the first month.

I said it was not clean because of the winter. the second floor access outside was often unsafe and not cleared. I called multiple times because the stairs were covered in snow. It would also have been nice if there was some lighting over the storage units themselves and not solely in the hallways. Also to correct the details above, i moved out march 31 2021
