When I took the truck it smells fast food because the employee that gave the key took the truck for a run and even took on 2km of my rental. Not a big deal but you know 2 bucks and bad smell.

Malheureusement j'ai réserver à partir de l'application en ligne qui m'a donné un prix ( comprenant la durée de prise en charge , les assurances , les taxes , le kilométrage .... et au final je me retrouve à payer presque 50% plus cher en magasin. l'employé qui me dit que cela arrive tout le temps et que cela est normal. Non ce n'est pas normal. J'ai des captures d'écran de ma réservation qui est très clair et je compte bien contacter la protection du consommateur surtout qu un document de plainte à été rempli au retour du véhicule et quelqu'un devait me recontacter ce qui n'a jamais été fait

la sectiion avant (conducteur et passager était sale - café ou autre boisson qui avait coulé et qui collait plancher et dans le porte gobelet) la personne qui m'a reçu m'a dit que je n'avais pas besoin de faire de déclaration de départ... si je ne voyais pas d'autres DOMMAGES au véhicule alors que la préposée qui m'a reçue au retour m'a dit que j'aurais dû en faire une si je voyais une DIFFÉRENCE (comme par exemple dans le Km ou le niveau d'essence). Pas tout à fait la même chose... bon j'ai payé 1.13$ d'essence (selon la facture) car selon votre sysème je ne l'ai pas ramené exactement au même endroit... En passant, c'Est vraiment dommage votre politique d'essence parce que la dernière fois que j'ai loué (la semaine dernière) je laissé le vehicule avec plus d'essence qu'au départ...je comprends que vous ne faite pas de remboursement mais on devrait avoir un crédit... ou autre pour si la prochaine fois (comme hier) il manque 1.13$ d'essence. DE plus, et pas vraiment en rapport avec la location, mais le ménage de la toilette à l'heure où le plus de clients viennent chercher leur voiture... pas vraiment une super bonne planification de la route de la personne responsable de l'entretien ménager... on était trois clients à attendre qu'elle termine avant de pouvoir faire nos besoins et partir...

I had reserved a 15 feet truck in the beginning of April for my move on June 13th The day before my move, on June 12 at 4 pm, one hour before they close, they sent me an email just to tell me that they changed my truck for a 10 feet instead of 15 feet AND that they changed the pickup location to somewhere way further from my place (saint-leonard instead of le plateau) I couldn't talk to anyone to change it, so I had to manage with the 10 feet truck Very disappointed with the service. I told my story to friends and a few said the same thing happened to them Would not recommend

The service that was requested included in the reservation 34km. When I took the van they asked me again about milage in Miles so I converted to 21 and afterwards I was charged more. I did not agree to pay any additional fees but I was charged environment fees and fees for a trip without problems and insurance. How does it make sense that I pay for a trip that had no issues and I also pay insurance in case there are issues. You are providing false advertisement and this is against customer protection laws.

I tried to reach the manager at least 10 times to discuss the fact I overpaid my locker 1 month before moving out. Yandary was impossible to be reached. I went in person, I called and I emailed. I also left 3 messages with her staff for her to call me. After 3 weeks of trying to reach her I finally did yesterday only to hear that she is not interested in giving me a reimbursement even if I moved out of the locker on august 9th and it was paid until August 25th. I have rented so many trucks from U-Haul this year and also 2 lockers, all I wanted was a credit or some kind of empathy, all I got was that I was annoying her after trying to reach her for 3 weeks. I could not be more disappointed in U-Haul, I respected your trucks and your lockers but I'm annoying you if i overpay my locker by 3 weeks ... That's very disrespectful. This was a huge eye opening experience for me, and family

I've sent the following email to the manager, however no response. I'd like a regional manager to contact me. Hi Yandary, I’m reaching out regarding my storage unit 2132 at Saint-Leaonard which I’ve maintained and paid for over the last 5 years, totaling over $10,000 CAD. Upon clearing the unit this week, I discovered it was contaminated with mice feces throughout. Many of my stored items — including family memorabilia, clothing, and electronics — had to be disposed of due to contamination. This wasn’t just disappointing; it was deeply upsetting given the sentimental value and cost involved. I rented this unit under the assumption that basic hygiene and pest control would be maintained. What I encountered was unacceptable. I’m requesting that U-Haul take responsibility for the lack of proper facility maintenance and issue a partial refund to reflect the damages and negligence. Please escalate this to the appropriate department and get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you,

Malgré plusieurs échanges avec la personne en charge de l'établissement, vous m'avez chargé le prix d'un 10x15 (150pied carré)pour une unité qui en fait +/- 9x12 avec un coin pris par une colonne. Même si les dimensions se veulent approximatives, elles sont plus proches d'un 10x10. La seule résolution proposée était de redéménager tout mon matériel dans une unité plus petite ce qui était évidemment trop coûteux en temps et en argent.

I dealt with Micheline the u haul on the metropolitan . She took care of me jun 2022 I was desperate to find a storage space during high peek moving season She reassured me she would find me a room and she did . She as took the time to help me with a disagreements I have with U-haul for charging me a full month when I moved out . I purchased a new condo and only found out 2 weeks prior to the moving date Oct 15th and u-haul locked me in until Nov 11th I feel it was injust and Micheline reassured me once again she would help me Micheline is an excellent employee that is very empathetic and serviced me with class

Madame Beauregard était excellente. Au début l’éclairage n’était pas adéquat. Il s’éteignait au bout d’une demi heure dans le corridor, ce qui fait qu’on ne pouvait pas voir ce qu’on voulait entreposer ou retirer. Je crois que la durée d’éclairage s’est améliorée dernièrement. J’ai toujours été incapable d’ouvrir le cadenas. Il fallait que je sois accompagnée d’un homme pour l’ouvrir.Aussi, je ne me sentais pas en sécurité dans les longs corridors. Il faudrait quelque chose pour bien indiquer qu’il y a des caméras et que les corridors sont surveillés.

I would have rated my experience higher as the general facilities outside my storage unit were clean and access was easy. The problem was INSIDE my storage unit WHERE I DISCOVER A DEAD, DRIED-UP MOUSE AND MOUSE DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE! ...AND I had to sweep it up in order to hand over the storage unit clean. Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Mice invasion damaged my belongings and I ended up throwing most of them along with cleaning them still today as I am writing this review. The very reason why I rented out a storage was because I was away and wanted to avoid repurchasing new stuffs once I came back but looks like I need to buy replacements after all, what a waste. The online payment system always crashes so it is really unreliable. Also there was a rent increase which I was not informed of.

J'ai loué l'entrepôt un 16 du mois et j'ai été surpris de devoir payer le 15 du mois. Heureusement que j'ai pris mes précautions et que je payer toujours le 15 du mois. Vos avis disciplinaire font peur, comme la confiscation du véhicule si on a le malheur de stocker des gallons de peinture. Il faut faire attention.

My wife and I as anglophone Ontarians entering Quebec to live in the province for the very first time we were warned ahead of time that Quebeckers are not very friendly to non-French speaking people. Our experience at UHaul De Saint Leonard proves that theory to be total nonsense. Courteous, professional and most helpful service was provided by all who were there. Great job and Merci Beaucoup!

The manager, Micheline Beauregard, helped me in a moment of crisis when a rude and abusive mover left my things outside of my storage. She spoke with the police on my behalf and learned more about this mover and had him banned from all U-Haul facilities to protect those who use the facilities. She also checked the video footage of this mover to confirm that he stole two items of furniture from my belongings. After I spoke with the police, the mover eventually came back and returned my two items to avoid arrest. Staff who came later came to see if I needed assistance as well. Excellent staff, very kind, friendly, and professional. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

The reason I would not recommend is that you charged a friend’s credit card and cashed in our cheque for November 2018 after charging me $15 in September. You can call a loyal client for a late fee.
