Shelly JWe rented a 26’ truck for a 2.5 day trip and the roof leaked, the drivers door latch didn’t work properly and broke during the trip and the rear wheels had mud in them causing the truck to vibrate on and off, depending what speed we were travelling. I had to get in and out of the truck from the passenger side door and the warning went off every time we slowed down, because the door wouldn’t close all the way. The latch was very obviously damaged previously and not addressed before our trip. The roof leaked but nothing was damaged, other than a few boxes got soggy. On a positive note, the truck made it with no major mechanical issues.
Ryan NShut down this location. Homeless tent city beside, the shop is not even operating, the yard is full of garbage bag window vehicles and wood and garbage. Interior of building is gross. Workers are buying stuff off the homeless people they allow in yard.

kim mIn the past renting a uhaul has been a big hassle but this experience was really good and everything was processed very quickly.
Chelsea OOne staff person on, four of us arrived more or less at same time. So had to wait 15 minutes despite having arranged drop-off time as another customer picking up who hadn’t pre booked was sorted out, other customers served. Not a big problem for me but could be for others in a hurry. Staff person was excellent at serving customers, it just took time because lots of customer questions.

Troy WOverall good experience. Equipment was dirty (not a big deal for purpose). Location was staffed by a single worker on a Saturday, this led to long lines and extended delays. Individual working was great otherwise. This location couple really benefit from increased staffing levels. This was been true during past rentals too at this location.

Ellwood BFirst my location was changed to a place that was farther away from my home in order for me to get the proper sized vehicle. When I adjusted the location to suit my circumstances, the size of my vehicle changed. I did not realize this because I was asked to review the change of location in my contract. Because I had made this change, I did not realize that the size of vehicle had also changed. Consequently, I had to drive very carefully with a smaller amount of items in a very large vehicle. It also cost me extra gas. It would be nice to know if I book a certain vehicle at a specific place that it will be available. If it is not going to be available, I could make changes at the time of booking instead of scrambling later while I am conducting the mive.

yaminiben pSo the trailer was never ready to go. It had rocks all over it. The tires had no low air pressure. I had to come back with the car to get the unit pumped up so that it was travelable. It also had mismatched tires, not much for tread.A little worried about my travel

lori pMy pickup time and location were changed without notice, ended up being a waste of time as I was not able to get into my reserved storage unit within the time I was using the trailer. I dont think I will be using uhaul again after this. Very disappointed after being a repeat customer.

KATHY GWas a bit of confusion at the beginning saying that the trailer was not available, but looking harder they found my reservation and a trailer. They were helpful and friendly.

Clyde PThe trailers we rented the last couple of years have always been in top shape. The staff of this location are very helpful and very friendly. Definitely my favourite U-Haul location in Saskatchewan.
Richard HIn my first visit, there was only one person working there and I was waiting a while in line. I was not told that I needed to give them 24 hours notice before getting access to my own storage unit. They told me that they also couldn’t access my unit because they ran out of gas for the forklift and had to come by the next day. They also said they couldn’t find my contract although one had already been drafted. They said that they had my name under another unit and got me the wrong box despite telling them exactly what my box number was. I felt the staff was highly incompetent. I went to Storage Mart and they had everything lined up for me before I even showed up. Asides from renting the moving van I will not be coming back. The staff also made more excuses and complaints about their own facility and management than actually helping me out. The staff was also more concerned about staying past their working hours than helping me out.
