I was not satisfied with this uhaul, when we went to get the uhaul the person helping us was very rude and was helping multiple people at once instead of helping just one at a time. When using the uhaul the uhaul was shaking a lot and did not feel stable at all!!! NOT ONLY THAT I FOUND A BABY COCKROACH IN THE UHAUL CRAWLING UNDERNEATH THE DRIVER SEAT!!!! I WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR THAT BEING UNSANITARY AND THE UHAUL NOT BEING SAFE!!!!

Employees took their time with everything, waited 20 min to even be acknowledged, the employee helping me had an attitude like I was wasting his day by being there (since he clearly didn't want to be there) and then have me grief over who was driving the vehicle! I rented a trailer for 2 hours, not a truck! Trailers do not need a license to tow behind a truck.... Customer service at this location is appalling and needs to be dealt with immediately. Store manager was awesome, everyone else - lazy and uncooperative

Overall was a good experience. Truck was new which was nice. Location easy to find. The pick up was just ok. I set up online to rent a truck, furniture dolly, and utility dolly. Also added 10 large and 10 medium boxes. Paid for the boxes online and was sent a message saying they could be picked up.Got to location. Was advised they did not have a furniture dolly (so had to drive to another location and rent it there). Also counter rep said he couldnt find my order for the boxes and just kind of looked at me like he couldnt do anything further. I had to bring up my order/receipt to show I paid and question who we need to call. He checked his computer a couple times and then just said to go ahead and take whatever boxes we paid for. Just was a frustrating experience to not have all the equipment at the location and to apparently not have record of purchased items for pickup when you are trying to get going on move day.

I’m in between, the younger guy couldn’t open the register so asked if I would go put money in my bank so I could rent the dolly. Which I did, taking an extra 20 minutes. Then came back only to have to wait another 10-15 for the other guy to finish up with another customer, to redo all the info again.
I can understand people need training but I was being nice because I just needed to rent the dolly. Ended up only using it for one item not three so I could return it before they closed.

I returned the trailer early. But because I paid cash at pick up I had to wait for GM to give me my change. I was ignored for over an hour. The young lady who came on shift told me we'll uhaul isn't supposed to be fast. I asked her to go get GM from garage where I could see him on the camera just talking to another man. She ignored me and started helping other customers and left me just sitting there. I finally left ad -800 number. It took the GM 15 minutes to finally come to phone for the head office. I was told to come back he'd be able to give me my change. I was late leave for California.

Better training for new employees.. my attendant didn't know how to check me in and they were about to charge me again for items I paid for online. After 45 minutes she sent me out to find the truck which she claimed was close by, but it was not. It was on the other side of the lot in a huge puddle. At least she brought the truck over to me and didn't make me tromp in the 6" water.

I am writing to formally express my distress over a deeply troubling experience with U-Haul that spanned over three weeks. Due to miscommunication and lack of professionalism among staff, I was forced to contact law enforcement to verify that the equipment in my possession was not stolen and to ensure a safe return to the original destination listed in my contract.
This situation was made significantly worse by a hostile and unprofessional interaction with an employee, which I reported to an agent. Despite clearly communicating that I am a survivor of human trafficking and that my situation required sensitivity and urgency, my concerns were not given the attention or resolution they merited. The lack of empathy and accountability left me stranded, emotionally distressed, and without support.
I urge U-Haul to review this incident seriously and take immediate steps to improve staff training around trauma-informed care, escalation protocols, and customer safety. No one should be subjected to such anguish when seeking help.

To make a long story short, the GM was incredible. While most companies tend to hide behind “corporate policy and contracts” to justify behaviors, Keith operates as a businessman who hasn’t lost compassion for his fellow human and I’m grateful for him. The service is thorough and every agent had taken the time to assist me from start to finish. The lines of communication were open and that seems rare today. By far the best employees at uhaul I've ever met. Not just one person either the whole team.
My family and I have worked with uhaul since I was a child moving from Texas, Arizona, Colorado, new mexico, and back and forth all over and now that I'm an 30 something adult and this was by the best and most memorable team. Having to rent uhauls and move things out of storage can be a hassle. And everyone on this team has done their best in answering my questions, helping with pricing and coupons. Ordered a truck and storage twice over the phone. Only the truck was reserved when I got there to pick it up. Luckily for me there was one storage left, a bigger one than I reserved an was $50 more. I took it. The fella that helped me was very knowledgeable and saved the day

I’ve used several popular storage providers throughout the years. This is my first time electing to use U-haul storage and I’m very impressed with the customer care. A rep even walked me around showing the storage entry and exit options for my convenience. This was the first time in over 15 years I can remember receiving this level of attention from any storage facility, it was such a refreshing experience. And yes, I’m very happy U-Haul!

Keith. He was excellent. Please don't ever let him go. He is a great asset to the company. He went above and beyond father than buzz lightyear could ever go. His attitude, customer service, his whole personna is rare . He made all the customers smile and laugh. Service that you don't normally see at other places. You have one heck of a great employee. I would so recommend this facility and Keith. I didn't get a chance to meet the rest of your store team. If they're anything like him, you are lucky to have a gold team. Treat them good. Because they're treating us good.

Great facility. The manager of the facility is an incredibly nice man - welcoming, helpful, kind, understanding, accommodating. I watched him 40 minutes before closing on a Friday night with 5 customers in the store take care of each with professionalism, calm, patience and humor, while acknowledging the others in line. Great representative of the company. Saw a woman walking the storage area early Saturday morning while we were moving out. I'm sorry I don't remember her name, but she called me later to complete on my move-out. Once again, lovely, professional, kind and grateful for my business.
