The lot was very well lit so when I dropped the truck at 1:45 AM I felt safe. It was clean and very clear where to drop the key. I really liked the online check out and was relieved when I received the confirmation when the U-Haul employees arrived at work and found the truck at their location. I also liked that I could return it to any location in Phoenix UHaul locations must train their service writers because everything is structured extremely well. It is no wonder UHaul has been in business for 50 years. Thank you

I used the new app to check in and out .I did exatly as it told me .two days later after proper dropoff the location called and said the keys were locked in and they coildnt find them the lady told me they still had my card and would be charging until they get in . They said they would call locksmith and charge me that also . I took pictures of everything the app told me .I could not speak to manager and tried calling 1800# but there is a 20min wait I would not recommend the app until they figure out how to use ..Bad experience very stressful and now it continues Yelp is my next stop

I had a horrible experience. Tried to talk to the manager about it and he didn’t allow me to express my concerns. The young man that assisted was new and asking for help and coworkers were not too helpful. In one occasion a female coworker tried to help him and was unable to do so, looked at me and said we cannot help you. You cannot rent our equipment. She was extremely rude.

I called 1-800-u-haul at 0500 to let them know I could not use the self serve option to return my equipment because the reservation was not found online. I asked if a note could be made that I left unused U-Haul boxes in the truck to return them so I could be refunded. I was told this was acceptable when I made the original reservation at U-Haul location in person in Tucson. I was charged a cleaning fee and was charged mileage fee even though I traveled in State. U-Haul texted me two drop off locations and the one I dropped off was 10+ miles over my mileage. I had to file a dispute and was told to call back in 3 days for an update. This experience with U-Haul has been the main stressor in my move when U-Haul is “supposed” to be the “easy” part in doing it yourself moving company. I’ve never experienced this with U-Haul and this company is always my go to when I need to move.

My reservation was from 7am-2pm. Opening time was 7am. Upon arrival (about 710), there were 4 people in front of me, 1 of which left 3 minutes after I got there, and there was no employee in sight for about 10 minutes. On my turn, the employee confirmed my reservation times of 7-1. I informed them it was until 2, but they came back with, "ok, but we have another reservation at 2, so bring it back at 150." No biggie! I didn't get out of there until 745ish, but still, this was no biggie to me. I say "to me" because, to me, this was not a big deal. I needed a truck for about an hour, and knew about when I needed it. I actually was able to return the truck back a couple hours early. However, if someone else needed it for longer, they would've lost out on an extra hour of time. The staff was extremely friendly, and patient! But, perhaps, at the end of the month, more staff needs to be available at opening time. This said, I'm still giving 5 stars, and would most definitely recommend this location. Thank you!

Everything was wonderful checking in an out. Very smooth. My only comment is this - During the rental process I intentionally mentioned a minimum of three times that I did not need a hand cart or any other equipment. I needed every inch of space in the truck I rented. Learning that removing the hand cart and secured blanket would cost me another $17 was a bit of a frustration. Seems like sort a force sales scam and an insult to today's wiser consumers. It also forced me to find an alternative to the lost space on the fly which did not serve me or others well at all. If I have the occasion to recommend U-Haul in the future it will be with with fair warning of what I've mentioned.

first, I'd like to say the staff was great. but equipment was less than expected. the drivers door was so badly bent the door would not close all the way, SAFETY ISSUE we had to jump start the truck twice.because of door i could go on and on. Just to let you know i own an auto repair shop and do safety inspections for DOT compliance. for large commercial company's. this would not pass DOT. hope you get this truck fixed before it rented out again. And we were hoping to rent one from u-haul because we have a move to Chicago in late August. but will rent from Penske They have never let me down in the past
