The lady at the desk was helpful but I was also buying a bunch of cardboard, packing materials, and renting a trailer. I asked if she could help me load the items into my vehicle and she told me to go get a cart. I said well that would cause me to make two trips regardless so I guess I will just carry the stuff out by myself and just make two trips. She decided to help me carry my purchases out to my vehicle. The Staff was great, but the truck was the biggest POS that I have ever driven. The cab filled with exhaust while driving, the AC only worked sporadically, the exhaust had steam and smoke coming out while on the freeway, it overheated a couple of times, and the front end could used an alignment. The mirrors bounced constantly while driving. This truck should be decommissioned and it was not safe to drive. ThanksJason B.

The representatives at this location have no idea how to handle a U-box. They are rude and unintelligent. They made us make an appointment for 2pm and then didn't have the box ready to be taken until after 4pm. My husband and daughter had to wait for over 2 hours. Why schedule an appointment if they aren't going to have the box ready? They also do not return voicemails and have no idea what good customer service is. When I went and drop of the vehicle the associate who took the keys was very unprofessional and said the F word to me since I didn't bring the vehicle where he told me to after I came inside not knowing I had to leave the vehicle in a certain spot...that was very unprofessional...!ENRIQUE L.
The trailer we rented was super loud and creaky when walking around inside that it made us feel unsure of the integrity of it. The location anger helped us initially during our check in and was not friendly. I was told where to bring it back to drop off the equipment but the driveway so so full with other equipment that it wasn't an option. Also, when returning the equipment, I pulled into the driveway that said "uhaul entrance this way" but got all the way to the end of this long and narrow path only to be blocked by a sideways parked uhaul truck that was purposefully blocking the driveway at the end. This force me, and inexperienced trailer tower, to have to BACK out of the driveway, at night, onto a busy main street! It was by the grace of God I didn't hit anything or anyone. If they are going to block the driveway at night, it needs to be known during the initial renting of the equipment, as well as locking the driveway at the street entrance, not what you get all the way to the end of the driveway. I picked up and returned a uhal at the same location! My pick up experience was NOT great! The man was not very welcoming, didn't take the time to clearly explain or make me feel that I can even ask questions without making me feel as if i should already know (E.g., something as simple as â€œyour KEYS are in the uhaul that's out in front WAITING for youâ€, instead I received â€œgo through this door and you'll find your uhaulâ€). The overall interaction at the counter made me feel as if I was less of a human. I left this location wondering was I treated this way because I'm a young female? This was my first time using a uhaul truck and due to the subpar customer service, I felt as if I should have known everything prior to walking in! My drop off experience was AMAZING! A young man came out to greet me and check the uhaul! He was very welcoming and didn't make me feel less of a person! Very happy with my drop off experience! I am only giving an average rating because of my drop off experience. If it wasn't for the young man, my overall rating would be MUCH lower!!Natalie T.

Overall the service was very good. Everyone was pleasant, you had the motorcycle trailer I needed, and the process was efficient. When I got home to load my motorcycle, though, the trailer popped up off the ball and everything (bike and me) kind of slammed to the ground because the entire trailer tipped nose-up. Thankfully the only damage was to the kickstand of the bike.. my Jeep was not damaged and I just had a sore wrist for a couple of days. I'd recommend having a chat with your team to make sure they know to twist that latch down all the way so that ball can't pop out..Soloman P.

Issue 1: I was nearly an hour late picking up the cargo van as my prior appt. ran significantly longer than expected. I apologized when checking in and was told my reservation was cancelled. I grew upset advising no one had notified me via text, email, or call and was told he was just kidding. Issue 2: The van smelled heavily of exhaust from when I first entered the vehicle until I turned it in. The brakes were also spongy, this is not safe. Issue 3: Upon turning my vehicle in, there was a line of 4 trucks being returned. After a 30 minute wait in line, I walked to the check in area and found a rep to assist me. He walked back to the vehicle to do the inspection. During this time he kept looking over to an upset customer by the propane tanks and was clearly upset by the interaction he had with him. At first I thought he was speaking to me as he said, "fucking customers". When I asked him to repeat himself he told me about how the gentleman was upset because he wasn't given as much propane as another customer. Never in my life have I experienced such inexcusably rude customer service. I have a storage locker at this facility and will actively be looking for another facility to give my business to. The layout of the parking lot/pickup area can be a bit confusing. The "equipment return" location is clearly labeled, but I wasn't entirely sure where I needed to be for pickup after I checked in at the counter inside. Other than that, experience was great! This location was great to work with, but unfortunately they were the only option. We booked trailers online at two MUCH more conveniently located facilities and were called the next day and told they didn't have anything available, so we had to drive 90 minutes extra to pick up and drop off at this location. This location was great to work with, but updating the inventory of the other locations online would be very helpful for planning a move.Michael B.

Arrived a pick up location about 30 minutes after opening and I was 10th in line to be served. There were 2 male employees handling customers. Both were efficient in the check in process and informative with the rental process and information. My wait time in line was close to 30 minutes. I then went outside to pick up the trailer and the employee noticed that one of the tires was low on air. He escorted me back to the office and an alternative trailer and new contract was quickly issued. The newly assigned trailer was then hooked up to my truck.. Upon arrival at the drop off location I was immediately greeted outside by 2 very friendly male employees who un-hooked the trailer from my truck and I was able to leave the property in less than 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!.WILLIAM R.

I'm being charged a $20 service fee because I dropped off the rental early and didn't get the txt message that said I had to â€œverify equipment returnâ€ online. I've never rented a UHaul before and didn't know that would happen. I dropped off the van, put the keys in the box, and dropped the contract in there too. So, I wasn't able to â€œtake a pictureâ€ of the mileage and gas tank. It's ridiculous that I have to pay more money for dropping it off early and being unaware of the service fee because I hadn't gotten the txt yet.Rafael V.

I have had the storage unit for about 3 years. I did not just move in. i have had automatic payments set up for several years. My last payment was not automatically taken out, so I received a late notice with a late payment fee added. I called and the late payment fee was taken off but this should not have happened at all. We have several uboxes stored there, each picked up at different times but when I picked up some I felt like I was a burden. Then my wife reserved a 10x10x8 storage unit several days in advance and yesterday when I arrived I came to find out there were none available of what was reserved. I had no choice but to take a bigger one. Nothing was done for the inconvenience of not having the size we purposely reserved and I had to pay for the upgrade I didn’t reserve or need. The GM John was excellent help. I had to deal with 3 different UHaul location to pick up the truck at one, pick up the car transport At another and now the storage units. I was very disappointed with the first 2 locations who were very unorganized and made it a hassle. Johns location was A night and day experience. Over all a great experience. They say I moved and checked out - the guys didn’t thank me or wish me well. During the year I rented I did have good service. Dan was exceptional. Also I had a table and chairs that were up front for 15 minutes and I called someone at the front office to say I would be back for them and they disappeared. That was the only compliant. We had our things in your location for about 6 years. I lost my husband Allen to cancer, almost 2 years ago. It's taken me this long to emotionally deal with it. I am alone and 60 and when I got 1 of our 2 units empty they still made me pay for both units due to it be combined, which I knew nothing about. It took a horrible hardship on me, had to use my electricity bill money. Times are unbearably difficult. The reason for below average rating is that no one at the facility showed us how to access facility after hours. No one let us know that there are two entrances. Main one in the front of building and the after hours access in back of the building. Showed up to move daughter's college dorm items at 8:00pm and could not access building. Had to call u-haul customer service who had to track down after hours manager who then explained how to access building afterhours. After wasting over an hour, we then had to actually run to load everything into unit before 10pm after access hours stopped. Spoke to another custmer there at the same time and they explained same thing happened to them as well. Except for this issue, I would have provided a 5 star rating.
