The personnel was rude and charged me an extra $159 until I came back and mention to her the mileage was incorrect on the receipt which was 93796.0 and the actual mileage in the truck was 93979.5 because I took a picture. And once my wife stated it was incorrect she was snappy and then started typing in silence and after waiting for approximately 10 minutes she then states she notified corporate about the complaint and we will be notified within 7- 14 business days. Then I received an email stated that I will be receiving a refund to my credit card in the amount of $159 and some change. How many people has she dies this too and have came back for their money. I truly appreciate Uhaul over all because I have you this company for all my moving for years. Please advise your employee this behavior and taking people money is unacceptable because it runs good dedicated customers like away! Thanks for your concern!Terrence S.

The truck has body damage to it. The original link that I was sent to report the damage didn't work. I had to call customer service to get another link sent to me. They had me listed as being in a different truck. The mileage and fuel level wasn't accurate on the truck that I did drive. I spent the first hour making sure that was noted. Then when I drove it the truck was loud and made a noise like rattling metal. It got louder when I pushed on the gas pedal. When I arrived at my destination the guys in the lot told me that the muffler was hanging on the ground. I called Uhaul customer service and they sent a mechanic who said that the catalytic converter had been cut off. He took the rest of the muffler off and put it 8nto the trailer. I called Uhaul again to tell them that this had happened. They said that they weren't sure what to do about it. I had work to do so I left the vehicle parked and when I came back I found messages that said I needed to make a police report. The manager of the Uhaul store says that she checked the truck this morning and the converter was on the truck. Customer service says that if I don't make a police report I'm going to be charged for the damage to the truck. When I took the truck back the manager insisted that the catylitic converter was on the truck when I left to my face. I went out to get my stuff out of the truck and called the police to make the police report. When I came back in the young man that was working at the counter told me that the manager had gone to make a police report herself. He said that 11 catalytic converters had been found to be stolen yesterday and another 2 plus mine last night. That's 14 vandalized trucks in one location amd yet I am still here at the van dyke location waiting on the Detroit police to show up I've been sitting here for almost an hour now. I would have been more accepting of this whole scenario if the manager had just explained what happened and apologized but as of now, I want all of my money returned to my card. I couldn't drive this vehicle. The manager essentially called me a liar when she knew that I wast, I spent my day on the phone with customer service instead of getting my job done. And driving this vehicle was a scary and upsetting experience all by itself.JEANEE MARIE W.

The 15 foot truck i resevered for 29.99 was not there when i arrived. So I was automatically put into a 20 foot and charged 39.99. I was only moving a sectional couch. The truck was very very loud from the muffler and the engine light was on..when i was driving i had to keep checking the driverside door because it kept opening while i was driving...sad very sad equipment. Not satisfied at all..plus im being charge 20.00 because the web site for returning my truck was not working and when i did get through it kept saying that i didnt have any reservations...Lakeisha B.

First off the online process was horrible when I arrived at the location which was 10 minutes before they're closing time I was rudely told they could do nothing for me in regards to me not being able to get in the building however an employee let me in and once I walk around to my unit it was not ready however I managed to get in to the unit and store my belongings came back the next morning only to be told that I could only come during store hours due to the card machine not working when I arrive on the second day I could swore I seen a bug not knowing exactly what kind of bug would appear to be a cockroach I immediately go to the office they came they picked up the bug but never told me what it was so now I'm in fear of my belongings being infested what kind of operation is this never in my life have I experienced such a unprofessional situation I will be contacting corporateSharlene B. | Online Move In
