Our experience at this location was good - the pickup process was easy and efficient, and our equipment was ready to go and in good condition. However, it was frustrating that we made a reservation for another location, only to have it moved to this one with no explanation. We specifically picked the location that we did because it was close to our house and made it easy to get to our destination with a trailer. The new location was twice as far away and much harder to get to and from with a trailer in tow. While we have no complaints about the service we received at this location, we weren't pleased to have our reservation moved unexpectedly.Michael R.

The general manager (Hal) had a cocky, I don't care attitude. Like he was on power trip. When I asked him if they had a dumpster for the tenants to use, he said yes. But it'll cost ya $15. All I had were 2 boxes (that were torn-down/flattened), plus 1 (15 gallon) bag of garbage. For $15?? He told me if I didn't want to pay, I could dump it next store (in their dumpster). I thought, Wow, that ain't right!? Now, this is after I just spent $1400 on a 15' truck (plus another $450 in gas) to move across country. Only to find out when I arrived that all my stuff, at the back 5' of the truck...was all wet on the bottom. By the way...he acknowledged that. It's just the principal of the whole thing. But I have to keep telling myself, that most people DONT CARE ABOUT PRINCIPALS. All they care about...US MONEY.Michael G. | First Impressions

We are in covid times and a good cleaning between rentals is expected. Seats, door, steering wheel and arm rests were dirty. I wiped them down with several disinfectant wipes and they were brown when I was finished. That was the only disappointing part of this experience.VICTORIA W.
Have the reserved vehicle ready for customer when promised! I had to wait almost 2 hours and ended up getting a larger than needed vehicle (26 ft truck) that had terrible gas mileage and cost me an extra $60 in fuel. The vehicle only got & mpg instead of 10 mpg for a 550 mile trip. I had reserved a 20 ft truck which was not available last minute. When I reserved the trailer online it stated that someone would call me to confirm the location I had reserved the trailer at actually had the trailer. No one called, so I showed up at the time of my appointment...that I had confirmed online and uploaded my driver's license, etc. The site did not have the trailer and the attendant was less than helpful in trying to figure out where I could actually pick one up. I called the 800 number and the lady was very polite and helpful. She transferred me to the appropriate group that could help me...and no one ever picked up...and it finally just hung up on me. I finally was able to pick up a trailer at this location 2 hours after the time of my original appointment.Daniel H.

I was scheduled to pick up my trailer at 10am. Plans had changed and wanted to pick up trailer 4pm a day earlier. I was told by the person on the phone l could but the price would almost double. So l picked the trailer up at the original time, putting me behind my new schedule. Other than that my experience with your stores was good.ROBERT A.
After I was done using the Uhaul I saw it was at halfway. So I put $10 in the gas tank wich was well over the recommended gallons. And now you guys wanna charge me another $10 dollars when I filled it to where I got it.. never going back to this place!CARLOS R.

When someone is making a reservation for moving equipment - it usually means they are making a BIG move. Moving is already stressful enough so it is incredibly frustrating when you show up at the exact time you made a reservation and you get to Uhaul and they tell you I'm sorry, the truck you reserved is not here. No offering to rectify the situation, not a call in advance to notify you that you need to make arrangements, not even a discount or a sincere apology. It does not make sense to me that you can make reservations for equipment that is not there at the day and time you show up. We went to two different locations and each time it was complete mess and EXTREMELY frustrating! There needs to be a better system in place - (penalties) for people who don't return equipment on time putting others at an extreme disadvantage especially on days that are already stressful for people! I would NOT recommend UHAUL to anyone currently because it's a nightmare.WILBURN L.

I arranged for a trailer online and expected to present my driver's license but it was also demanded I supply an additional reference or no sale. If something is that important, include it on the website. What is this sixth grade? You already have my credit card and driver's license and that's not enough? When I objected I was told my attitude was poor and I must be dishonest, otherwise I wouldn't care. !!$&%#%@&:; What kind of monkey business are you running? If I didn't have a mandatory meeting which required the trailer I would of just walked out. This is by far the most rude and flaky business practice I have encountered in years. Don't bother contacting me. Life is too short to waste time dealing with people who have not learned any customer relations or face to face skills what so ever.RICHARD W.

I initially reserved a vehicle and at the last minute they didn't have the vehicle and sent me to a more distant location, rather than go get one and have it reserved at the location I reserved a vehicle for. I reserved a trailer at another location with a pick up time of 7am. I arrived to pick up the trailer and they did not have one. She tried to find me a trailer for about 10 seconds, then suggested a location to try since they have a â€œlarger selection â€œ. They did not have one either, but took the time to locate one for me. VERY frustrating to make a reservation and the item you reserved is not available! I had taken a day off work to move a couch for my daughter. Took an hour and a half longer since I had to drive to 3 uHaul location.Kari O.

The staff, no one seemed to know how to do anything, telling me I had to come back when mgr was there. Even when I said call main office , they'd say they're out to lunch or dinner. 2 young men diff times acted either totally stoned or I'm sorry mentally extreme slow. Staring at puter doing nothing making us wait. For nothing. I was given a credit instead of a refund for unused boxes etc but they'd never let me use the credit, either cuz I can't use it towards storage rent or truck. But when I was buying supplies then it didn't work come back. This is even with whoever is acting boss that shift. Mgr seemed to be drugged or ? at times too. Everyone came in was frustrated, everytime I had to come in, often at times. Mgr leaves alot it seems never there. When he was he was nice. The premises itself felt safe and at time good loc but due to staff and how it's all run, I'd never use it, in fact I have moved out. The times I've had to use the main office it's been great, including this last time where without any hassle at all, I was given my immediate refund on that useless credit. Ps.. I was there about a year and all I said never got better in fact worse. I don't understand why you're letting such a prime loc be run by stoned vegetables idiots, including it's 'upper mgt' down. The facility and staff was great. One complaint is that they force you to buy a special padlock. They claim the reason is that these locks are more secure. This is not true. The round locks they force you to use can be broken in less than 5 minutes with a drill. I'm pretty sure the reason they require these is so they can get into a unit (with a drill) if someone stops paying, etc.Richard B. | Overall Experience

I found the experience pulling a 5x8 trailer with a car very taxing on gas mileage. Normally I get 25 mpg. I only got 12.7mpg pulling the trailer. The drag is tremendous. Perhaps you could offer a wind foil that attaches to the roof of a car to reduce the drag and increase mileage. I Imagine it would help with Your profits also.chris k. | First Impressions
