Staff was great and everything looked fine from the outside, but when we got into the gated area to store our new RV, it was scary. Mostly junk yard cars were there, some missing tires or wheels,

Equipment needs to be thoroughly inspected prior to be putting on the line for customer use. Computers need to be updated with proper specs as to what vehicle can pull what.

Unprofessional staff and the equipment had activated warning lights on the dashboard...To start I had a not so great check in with poor service, the the truck a horrible ride (I’ve been in moving trucks before so I know this is not supposed to float like a Benz or nothing), the passenger door had to be strong armed slammed shut but it made it to the destination. When I attempted to put gasoline in the truck it came pouring out the bottom when I let the manager know he replied “yeah I know” then proceeded to explain they have been experiencing gasoline thefts in the area and to remedy that issue they cut the gas line on the truck! The clerk who initially checked me out and became very combative when I expressed I was placed in a death trap. Her response was she “didn’t give me anything u-haul did!” And she is correct, uhaul did allow her to rent that vehicle to me on today...I normally don’t even fill out surveys but I just wanted whoever is reading this from U-haul, you all will never have that opportunity to give me anything else. If you want to help the next customer fire everybody and start from scratch.

After hours truck return was very irritating. What was said to take 15 minutes turned into an hour. Necessary account setup, installed phone app, phone location security settings, and submitted photos were not explained beforehand. Process could have been much smoother if we’d been prepared prior to arrival. Will probably not do anything after hours ever again with uhaul.

The truck was in serious disrepair. It seemed like it had fuel line issues as it would cut in and out while I was driving at 55 mph. The check engine light lit up during the trip. It stalled outright in a McDonalds parking lot. Additionally the "gentle ride" statement that is written on the side of the truck was definately not true for this particular truck. I have use UHAUL all my life and never had such a sub standard vehicle before driving this particular truck. I did not get a quality truck and would like to talk with some one about this. I came in and paid for my storage fee and I paid $159.90 and three days later I moved into my new place and I asked would I be getting a prorated fee since I only stayed there for three days, I was told no and I had to pay an extra 80.26 to rent a truck. Who do I talk to about getting my money back.

Staff while picking up the trailer on 10/9 were excellent! Everyone was friendly and happy to help. The next day while returning, it was like I was at a different business. I parked the trailer alone and went inside. When I walked in the door, the man looked at me, and walked off into a side room. About 3-4 min later, he came back out and walked right in front of me with out saying a word. He was holding a cigarette and lighter. I said I was there to return my trailer. I know he heard me because he was two feet away, also I’m 6’4” 300lbs so I’m not invisible. He didn’t say anything. He walked to the sliding door to go out side and I had to raise my voice and ask if there was something I needed to sign or do, and he said “ naw” and walked out side. Absolutely pathetic excuse for an employee. I was there around 10 AM on 10/12 if you need that for the security footage.

I reserved the truck for pickup at the Kanis Rd Little Rock location, was told just 24 hours ahead of pick-up that the truck would be at the North Little Rock location but not until 5pm when I reserved it for 10am. Needless to say, it was in another city and too late in the day to manage the loading and initiation of the rental. An alternative third location was only found after many phone calls and holding-times. Then, I was told that the appliance dolly wasn't available at the new truck pick-up location. Needless to say, the experience was unnerving to have planned a move and end up chasing things down to make it work. Overall, the pick-up and drop off were fine.

Awful experience waited for 1hour for uhaul that was not at location then waited for person to try to clean it. It cost me $78.00 more to pay reserved movers for the hour that I missed. Then I paid for 2 dollys and only used one and did not use the one attached to uhaul so that was another $7.00 I lost during my moving experience. Employees told me they could not refund me for the uhaul. I saw the way he talked to other customers and co-workers with a bad attitude so I said ok and decided to report it online and better business because my total lost of $85.00. If Uhaul require the customer to be charged for being late they should also refund their customers when they are late especially a whole hour plus. Uhaul should have a system set up to at least notify customer uhaul is late and or provide another truck so customer will not be waiting and lose money. This was a lot of money for me and I value my time just like uhaul company. I was very dissatisfied with service. This was very inconsiderate and costly. A free storage want fix lost money. Associate "Nicholas" checked me in... Upon my arrival for my drop off Nicholas took my U Haul Truck key and moved it around to the check-in stagging area... While I waited in the office he checked over the truck and calculated overage Mile's and settled my account while out at the truck... He came into the office and took my updated contract from the printer,,, handed it to me... I checked it out,,, all was OK,,, I Thanked Nicholas and was on my way out the door in 10 minute's... The only thing I feel U Haul should change is "Give Back" to the customer One Half OF the Trucks "$56.00 Insurance Coverage Fee" if it is returned in "No Issue's" condition !!!

I reserved the trailer at the Kanis location. She never said anything about the trailer not being at the location. I received an email stating that we would have to pick it up at the Baseline location. The opposite direction of where we were moving. And then we were not able to return it to the Kanis location. We had to go back - opposite direction- to Baseline. The the guy kept my drivers license. Never gave it back or called to say that he still had it.

I went over the mileage allowed by .7 miles and was charged .32 cents on my charge card. This was after reporting the break acceleration issue. In addition the dispatch people were friendly but changed my pick up location the day before and provided inaccurate information. I was not impressed. Then the break acceleration issue occurs. I call and report it during our trip and basically am told to be careful. Not go to a place and have it checked etc. the last instance we were at at stop and my wife was getting out the passenger door with my foot on the break the truck started jumping forward. She had to get back in so I could get it stopped. We paid a lot of money for what we received. Many thoughts before I do this again or recommend you to others. Glad to be alive.
