Autumn BIt Was by far the best truck share I have ever had. I am a frequent renter and can attest to the fact that renting trucks from uhaul during off hours typically does not happen very quickly. I showed up at this location for early Sunday off hours pickup and the entire process was completed in 5 minutes. Thank you for being so organized and making my rental process so smooth.

LARRY JI wasn't told that the drop off location was close in weekends called 800 number when I realize was told could drop it off 24/7 that was not true. I should've been made aware of that. I pick the original drop off location it was near where I was moving I could walk back home however. Since I was given wrong information I arrived at location it wasnt 24hours i had to go to another location and catch a cab home which I couldn't afford to do had no choice if I was made aware of the location wasn't 24/7 I would've been ok with that. Could've made plans to not be told it at original location then 800 customer service told me it was even as I sat at the location telling them the company has a fence no where to drop off without the business being open. It was unreal to me that no one knew this wasn't a 24/7drop off I could've plan and budget better.
Reshada WI never was able to pick up the equipment due to something that was out of my control. They never would work with me and lost my money to rent something i was never able to use.

I had some concerns about how this would meet my needs but I trusted him because he took the time to assure me his product would work.He explained the warranty I had and how it would be honored.Yes I will recommend U-Haul.
Melford JI made a reservation but somehow the process still took two hours. I told the guy to switch my location but he didn’t. When it came to loading my truck to the tow piece I was told the straps were too small and I had to purchase extensions. Which lead me to go to another store just to get back to the location and I didn’t need the straps. The guys just didn’t know what to do or how to load. I was told twice that they were getting together my reservation which ticked me off and was very misleading. I wouldn’t recommend at all. The service was horrible. The truck still had the previous person items on truck. The one person that did know what she was doing had to intervene to assist me because the three guys knew nothing and couldn’t help including the Gm
JASMINE CThe mileage wasn’t correct on the truck when I got it, I took a picture of the correct mileage and uploaded it as I checked the vehicle but the company said they didn’t get the picture. When I went to turn the truck in at a drop off location they weren’t set up for drop offs so I had to drive it to another location which put more miles on the truck. When they checked it in I was charged for extra mileage which I already had added on my original contract and I was charged for gas which was were it was when I picked up the truck. I’ve used U-Haul before and never had an issue like this. I will not be using again.

Season BThe truck was right before empty in the fuel tank. I had to fill the fuel tank before I could start my moving of furniture. I had to pay my help to move the furniture. I did not expect to have to waist an hour finding a fuel station and waiting in line to purchase fuel to get started moving the furniture. Other than that everything else was great. Clean truck, good driving truck. Friendly and helpful associates.

The door on my unit was left broken for over 6 months. Water was everywhere in my unit. I was lied to by management over and over about my unit being safe/ secure and damages. Their cameras were broken.When I went to remove my belongings, EVERYTHING was wet/ mildewed and water damaged.Most everything I stored was destroyed by their negligence. I was told by mgmt I could file a claim on their insurance but it was denied. I was refused any type of compensation, and zero apology. I have attempted a resolution with the facility with no resolution.

Being in the car business I knew it wasn’t going to move the gauge that much and was never verified when I went back after putting the ten dollars in gas in the truck was very unorganised . So I was moved to storage 600 took everything out the van placed it in the storage the storage wouldn’t close..(had to place everything back in the van only to have to move again to storage 625 it’s filthy with ants but being on a time frame with the van and having to be out the residents in a timely fashion I had no choice but to move in the storage.. highly upset about the whole experience now I’m having to pay more monies for a storage that’s bigger then what I needed.. Terrible experience I only chose uhaul this time because I used them last year.. But never again…

Ernest S | First ImpressionsI only had my niece helping me unload a 20 ft truck and when we got finished, we both could barely move much less take the truck to another facility so it had 3/4 full of gas because I thought I'd have to drive it to another location, but the sweet lady inside U-Haul let me park it there and she took care of it. I wouldn't have been able to drive to another location and today I can barely move from the pain. Next time I'll be better prepared than to hire movers that change their prices on me causing a disabled woman to unload her own truck. I'm happy to have such wonderful people their at 5518 Base Line Rd. U-Haul !! Their the best and wonderful customer service!! I would definitely recommend them to anybody. Thanks girls!!!!

Instead I got the run around for my items that were damaged and they kept wanting to charge me for a storage. There is no way my items should’ve been damaged wet and mildewed being stored in an inside unit. I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone. The manager Sean only told me that it had been a lot of rain but that’s no excuse for an inside unit. I emailed and called never received any type of follow up or assistance.
