Called and reserved free month storage from renting trailer promo. When I arrived I was given a storage unit that had a lock on it. Then had to downgrade to a smaller unit that was upstairs. The cops were on location for a different customer in turn I was not serviced timely. A lot of standing around waiting. Then was charged for both storage units. First of all, my reservation for the truck and the transport was for a location on Cantrell Rd in LR, AR. the day before I was to pick them up, the lady at the Chico Rd called and said all is at her location and so I went an extra 30 mins away to get the truck and transport. Well the day of pick up., neither was there! She does not know why the truck was gone. She ordered another for us and we waited 1for one to be delivered from your main location in LR. Then I was told I had to come to this location at Baseline to pick up a transport. Another thirty minute delay. This Baseline Rd location was great. The people were great and made sure I could leave with one of their transports.Keith A.

My reservation was given away the day before. I had to get a larger sized truck than I wanted at a different location than I wanted. So maybe don't give away the reservation. What is even the point of me setting that up? RidiculousEric H.
I was sent to a location 45 miles from were I lived to get the truck. When I made the reservation I was told I would pick up in Cabot Arkansas. The pick up was changed the day before pick up. I was given a truck with a broken windshield and the crack was in the drivers view sight. I don't think U- Haul take safety of the renters as a priority and safety. The tall gentleman that was there on Sunday, July 10th, 2022. I keep forgetting his name, yet, he has top of the line customer service skills. He knows how to handle many customers at once. Our issue was that we weren't told until the evening before our scheduled 8am pickup that we would have to drive to a whole different city to pickup the U-Haul truck - and we had to pay for all of that extra mileage ($1 per mile) both to and from. I understand our local dealer didn't have a truck, but at least let us return to the closest U-Haul dealer we originally requested so we wouldn't have to pay for the extra mileage. THEN, we get to our location for pickup at 8am and are told then and there that the 2 dollies we had reserved (and) dozen blankets were unavailable. Nothing like being told that the morning of moving day... we couldn't have moved if it weren't for the dollies assistance. The lady at Baseline location thankfully was able to find some - at the location we were originally supposed to rent from. So again, we had to pay for all of that extra mileage to go get the dollies / blankets we had reserved. Definitely should have received mileage credit in my opinion. But at the end of the day we got moved and the employee's at Baseline were at least very friendly and helpful through the whole process.Ryan G.

The first compliant was i called February 8th and ask for a truck to be picked up and delivered back to the Benton AR location and was forced to pay extra because i ended up having to pick up a truck at this baseline location. Second the pick up process took way too long. Third the truck was had body damage and drivers door was difficult top open and close. Fourth they didn't have a furniture dolly available i had requested on the February 8th call. Fifth the truck was sitting with 23 miles to empty. I do have to say the Lady who checked us back in when returning the truck was very efficient and pleasant to work with. Overall i very unpleasant situation. I truly do not understand why when you call on the 8th of February for a 26th of February pickup they can't have a truck where you've ask to pick one up. I ended up paying for at the very least and addition 40 - 45 miles at .99 a mile due to UHAUL lack of customer care.TAMMY W.
The 2 agents that helped me on the phone and at the counter were extremely helpful and very professional. I had to move my daughter from an apartment back to home during some inclement weather and under a major time deadline! It was a very stressful day! They both went above and beyond to secure a van for us over the phone and continued the awesome customer service in person when we arrived to pick up and drop off the van. I had all furniture moved but had a ton of boxes so needed a dolly. I told them I had to have one and the lady said she would order one from another store. Went to get the truck. No dolly. Then was told we had truck till 3:00. I told him I did not say only 3 hours and with no dolly the 2 of us would have to carry EVERY single box and no telling how long it would be. Originally we're booked at Hot Springs at Grant street. 2nd day they called and confirm to pick up on saturday morning. But frinday after 5pm somebody called and notify we have to go to little rock to pick up the van. We were very upset not getting right service. I did not like it. We drove early morning to little rock met a very nice person. I forgot the name may be Steve?? Last name starts with B. He was very helpful and made our day great. Love the service. A representative named Lovely helped me and while I had to wait really long time because my reservation was for an old truck trailer that did not have climate control, it didn’t feel that way. She was extremely helpful and hilarious. I even started helping other customers with carrying boxes to their cars. Lovely helped me understand what kind of storage would fit my needs and things worked out well for my family and me.
