Returning the truck took close to 20 minutes. There are signs telling you to wait in the vehicle. No one ever came out to the truck. Inside I waited, while another customer was being attended to. After 10 minutes, the 1 employee that was there, paused her transaction with that customer only to tell me, just leave the key and they would email me my receipt. Which I did even though I am owed a $400 refund. I couldn't wait for an hour returning the truck.JASON T.

Went into the UHAUL store in Houston and the Customer Representative completed our reservation and took our payment. We thought everything was fine until I got into the car and looked at the email the gentleman had sent. The UHAUL rep put the wrong date. He put todays date vs tomorrow like we had asked for. So we went back into the store and as I was walking in a woman ( the assistant manager) shouted we are working on fixing it right now what date and time. I provided the time and date and she said she would fix it once she got back. We left the store and went home. About 3 o'clock I got a text and and email saying that our reservation was not confirmed because the equipment was not available. I called the location was on hold for 20 minutes and the assistant manager got on the line and explained that they had made a mistake and cancelled our reservation because no equipment was available. I told her y'all took our money already and she said they reversed the payment WE HAVE STILL YET TO RECEIVE A REFUND. She did get the UHAUL for us but she never called and confirmed like she said she would. This place was unorganized and careless. Our account was out in overdraft because of UHAUL employees mistake. Worse experience I have ever had with UHAUL. And, because of the lack of empathy and competence of the employees at this location I will not use services again nor will I recommend to family and friends.JEFFERY B.

By far this is the best storage facility. I’ve never had carts to use on site to move things from the vehicle to the storage, and climate control is a big plus. I reserved 2 dollys but when I picked up truck they had none-and no call to tell me so I could find elsewhere before move. Had to do move without and took 2 hours longer than should have costing me $300 more for labor help. Truck rode worse than a hay wagon. Rode like no shocks. Setup a service for delivery when people are outside of the normal 40 minute delivery area. I spent hours on the phone and driving back and forth to the location to get my 6 of my 8 uBoxes delivered to my home. Up until now I had always had good experiences at this location. This time I could not get the uhaul.com deal to work right on my phone to check in/out, kept going in a loop. The truck I rented had a significant vibration above 35 mph or so. After a short stint on the highway, I opted to use side roads to be able to keep my speed low enough. This cost me a good amount of time. Then I was billed for more mileage than I used, but that issue did get resolved after a few attempts to speak with someone. One person on the phone took me saying â€œI'm being screwedâ€ to be an invitation to be super rude to me on the phone, very professional. When I'm at work I can't chastise customers when they're upset, my company must be oddâ€¦.While it all worked out in the end, I'm not sure I'll ever be doing business with uHaul again.Christopher T.

Please train neighborhood location how to utilize computer to generate return receipt or equipment ret. I returned a car transport trailer to your neighborhood drop off at 5615 Wayside in Houston October 7th, the same day that I picked it up. I now have a pending charge of $443.30 made on October 22 from that location. It's obvious that errors were made at that location regarding the equipment return and proper return protocol. Didn't like them telling me I was getting extra Miles (230) but it wasn't notated. Also they were giving me an extra day & according to the Staff at Mesa Rd., all of that wasn't Noted towards my Acct. That meant I had to pay an extra $400 for Movers because the original Movers weren't available to Move me a day earlier & that's not fair qhat U-haul did to me. In the end, my kids helped to Move me, ask the Staff at the Storage location. It took us forever...late, but overall everything was well until i got to the Auto Transport. Being a "gentle" female, I sisnr quite understand the "hookup" for my Vehicle. I didn't feel comfortable about the connection so I didn't Transport my Vehicle, so I rented it for nothing. I found out when I called on Jan 29 & was told the U-boxes were there for a week & were ready to be moved to the long term storage facility. the staff just added the storage part to the property and they were not fully trained to complete my registration, but they nee to charge my card. Even though online showed my 1st month to be free. Also due to lack of air conditioning i had to get a non climate unit which was less than the one on hold for me. Also i still dont have access to my unit. Cuz the staff did not know how to issue it correctly. And i havent been able to get bsck up there due to my work. Cuz i did inform staff , due to yhe difficulties in completing my rental.
