Everything was great for me. The only problem I had was I asked for two dollys and got charged for two but only received one in the truckPhylicia O.
I appreciated this particular office on Board St. The truck I rented had no working air and it was 94 degrees with heat index of 101. This is unacceptable and we don't feel that we should had to pay full price for inadequate equipment in such conditions. I made the store manage aware once we return the hot ass truck. My original pick up location was at a different place. Unfortunately, another customer parked a large u-haul in front of my rental and I was unable to complete an after hours pick up. I called u-haul and they were able to switch the rental to the broad street location where they quickly got the truck ready and out the door in 15 minutes. Thank you for the great service.Jason B.
Ya'll gave me a truck with a flat tire. Drove it less than 1/4th of a mile before I realized the indicator was on. Called the Uhual location I picked it up from and the rep wasn't helpful at all. Told him to add it to the notes saying something was wrong with the tire because I couldn't tell if there was a nail or something. Not sure if its still leaking air. AND the tank wasn't completely full when I got it. So when I went to fill up I spent $25 on gas for driving only 21 miles AND yall didn't record the milage correctly so I got charged for 28 miles instead of the 21 miles I actually drove.Brandon E.

This was my first experience and my last If I could give a low score I would they were very unprofessional. I smell drug use upon arrival they couldn't find my keys which set me back 30 mins so when I finally got in the truck I smelled drug use inside of It too and I got unrelated charges among other charges I was not aware of.When returning the u -haul. And I was never told about the gas fee even after I put gas in it after driving 20 min the gas light came on so once I when to return it they were in the office and smell more drug use so they wouldn't let in to return key and told me to put in the door and they would get it I will never ever come back and rent a U-haul or recommend them to anyone else and thinking about taking it farther and reporting U-Haul to the BBBErnest H.
I was charged for extra storage bins that I didn't receive after reserving 22 at the location. A hold was placed on the account to make corrections, that didn't happen and I'd accrued an additional $11.00â€¦ no reimbursement. I was informed I'd be reimbursed for incorrect number of storage bins when I returned the equipment and that didn't happen.Dana H.

I have emailed not only the local mgr but Joe the president as well. Equipment suspension, rack and pinion are bad. Took over a week to give me the contact. I fear that they will place another unsuspecting customer in this vehicle and something worse will happen.RICHARD S.
This service is always very professional an they go out there way to look out for me. They know me well I only rent a truck to go get a lot of flowers or mulch. I don't call to reserve ahead of time I just walk in an see if they have a truck available an only need it for 3 hours at the most. I always put more gas back in the truck an wash it down to say thanks for them looking out for me so I really appreciate this store that is less then a half of mile from my house.Sebrena M.

The broad street team was extremely helpful. I was sent to the wrong location from a previous uhaul location which was 1647 Gordon hwy Augusta Ga, rep was fast talking, make reservations & told me to go to broad street & she gave me the address. When I got there the reservation for for another location which was across town, inconvenience. The broad street team ensured that they will take care of me & apologized for the mixed up & I was able to rent a Uhaul. I will always handle my business there going forward. Thanks!Tyrone J.

The front seat cargo van floors and cup holders were dirty. There were several bits of hard dog food in the bed of the cargo van. The gas tank was on E and the orange empty light was on as soon as I got into the rental. Luckily there was a gas station two blocks up. The air conditioner in the cargo van worked great!Chelsea H.

The Uhaul attendant was overwhelmed and could not handle the office by himself. They did not have furniture pads either. What U-Haul service center runs out of furniture pads? I had a Guaranteed reservation for another location but they failed to have the truck that I reserved and confirmed. They sent me to the location that I got the truck from and did not have furniture pads. So long story short. I had to go to a third location to get the furniture pads. At each of these location I had to provide my ID card and credit card. No problem, but why are they entering this information that I already did on line. Double the work. Why did I even bother to reserve the truck and pads on line if Im going to be sent all over town to get what I need. And then I have to wait on them to re-enter all this information into their computer. Now I am a few hours past the original requested pick up time. I requested this time be adjusted to meet the actual pick up time but the man said the computer did it automatically. When I returned the truck I was charged and extra day. Thanks U-HaulJames M.

My storage was auctioned off and my husband passed away from covid so I felt really bad about the Uhaul experience I had in the pandemic not being financially able to keep up with my account and lost all the things that we worked and earned. I’m grieving for the things that I tried to hold onto, but lost in your storage facility. Hopefully I’ll get pass it one day. Your General Manager thought I would be able to get it out, but it was and still is a pandemic in our country and it has affected everyone including me and my family as we lost or mother recently also and everything she had in another Uhaul facility as well under the same circumstances. The unit door was broken so I had to be moved to another unit. There was only one person who could help me and he was busy doing something else. I waited over 3o minutes. I came back later and an additional 30 minute wait ensued. Finally I got moved in. There was no lock in the unit as promised. The access code didn’t work so they had to let me in manually. When I came back with a second load the gentleman working the evening informed me that I had to input my access code in two places The access door worked fine after that. Everything is fine now. I was told while booking the space that I would have a 23 x 10 x 10, or something like that. The first people I interacted with were great and helped me right away, and suggested a better storage unit than I had chosen. The last interactions were not so pleasant especially from the owner/ general manager of the facility. There is no reason to ask for so much personal information and then when asked why it's needed when all other information was given, the answer is "because that's the way it is". That's not a good reason to ask for something and when told there are no more things to give should be acceptable and you move on. I should not be then threatened to have to move out of my unit I just purchased and moved into because of this. Then speaking to the next person above that and get the same excuse is unacceptable. Your policy needs to be updated and your computers need to allow people using them to continue on without delay. Then after all of that be charged for 2 extra days of use of equipment when it was barely over 1 day is also unacceptable especially moving from another state and having to pack and travel.nathan s. | First Impressions

There are no numbers on outdoor units and the workers don't even know which is which. They moved me in to one that was owned by someone else and I had to move out after unloading all my household goods into the unit.
