Unfortunately only one person was working that morning and he had customers stacked up. He did a great job of trying to accommodate and multi-tasking. When additional help showed up at 1030am they were not enthusiastic about getting the customers their rentals. My truck is currently not driveable, and I needed to pick up a large piece of furniture. I used the app, but it only showed 10' trucks available. Al and Mr. Neal, got me in a van and to my pickup appt on time. Mr. Neal showed me how to open all the doors to ensure damage-free loading. It is always a pleasure renting from this location. I had reserved a 17 foot truck to be picked up after Uhaul closing hours. Brandy called me saying they didn't have 17 but she'd hook me up with a 20 at no extra cost. Great, except Brandy didn't code the reservation as mobile pickup, as I originally had it. I lost 12 hours of driving time because eibhad to come back the following morning at 7am to get the truck. There was nothing to improveâ€”the GM, Mr. Wade, and the gentleman, Mr. Neal, provide superior customer service. Wade was very accommodating when I upgraded the trailer. Mr. Neal hooked up the trailer for me. He guided me through every step. He assisted me with the safety check and wished me safe travels as I was leaving. Mr. Wade knew I was concerned about the size of the trailer and reached out to be sure I was not having any issues pulling it safely. The man working was having conversations with another employee despite having a 8 person line. Also don't have employees stand behind the counter chatting if they aren't able to help because they are new. Was literally the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. Reservation was places about a month in advance for cargo van and dolly. When arrived dolly was not available to rent and agent indicated that he can't help at all.. My storage was auctioned off and my husband passed away from covid so I felt really bad about the Uhaul experience I had in the pandemic not being financially able to keep up with my account and lost all the things that we worked and earned. I’m grieving for the things that I tried to hold onto, but lost in your storage facility. Hopefully I’ll get pass it one day. Your General Manager thought I would be able to get it out, but it was and still is a pandemic in our country and it has affected everyone including me and my family as we lost or mother recently also and everything she had in another Uhaul facility as well under the same circumstances. I rented today a truck in the morning and delivered around 3:00 p.m. when I arrived to the site they were busy, so a guy told me to just leave the keys on the car and I was good to go. I received this night a charge of $142.00 when my original bill was $69, the bill says clean fee and the truck was clean, I even took the bottle of Coca Cola I had on the truck, there was not even a piece of paper there, also y was charged a lot of money as fuel fee when I give you guys the truck with the same gas i received. The unit door was broken so I had to be moved to another unit. There was only one person who could help me and he was busy doing something else. I waited over 3o minutes. I came back later and an additional 30 minute wait ensued. Finally I got moved in. There was no lock in the unit as promised. The access code didn’t work so they had to let me in manually. When I came back with a second load the gentleman working the evening informed me that I had to input my access code in two places The access door worked fine after that. Everything is fine now. The first people I interacted with were great and helped me right away, and suggested a better storage unit than I had chosen. The last interactions were not so pleasant especially from the owner/ general manager of the facility. There is no reason to ask for so much personal information and then when asked why it's needed when all other information was given, the answer is "because that's the way it is". That's not a good reason to ask for something and when told there are no more things to give should be acceptable and you move on. I should not be then threatened to have to move out of my unit I just purchased and moved into because of this. Then speaking to the next person above that and get the same excuse is unacceptable. Your policy needs to be updated and your computers need to allow people using them to continue on without delay. Then after all of that be charged for 2 extra days of use of equipment when it was barely over 1 day is also unacceptable especially moving from another state and having to pack and travel.nathan s. | First Impressions
