Very professional and fast service
The gentleman who checked me in was very professional and friendly. All of the staff I encountered were courteous, neat in appearance, and seemed to like their jobs. It was a very good experience and will visit this location if I ever need another trailer. Will definitely recommend it!

The worste experience ever. I was told lies by the associate that helped me with my rental. I was over charged. Would never return will most definitely tell all my social media aswell as family and friends.
Mention that the check out process is done over your phone. My phone was not fully charged and I was not able to complete the check out

"Michael Brown", not only was completely rude, disrespectful to me , that I wonder how come such an" A hole," can be the manager of such an American institution like Uhaul. A line of people waiting, one great lady by herself helping all the customers ,and this so call manager in his office chit chatting and laughfing , when I respectful approach to ask if there was some else to help Us , his answer was ,,"THIS IS NOT SEVEN ELEVEN". great attitude for a manager who now is moving to another office in another state, not only He should be reprimand , but If He was one my employee no longer should have a job. Thanks to the maintenance gentleman outside in the parking lot and the great lady in the front office that solve the situation , Very extremely disappointed at His way of treating a customer in front of other customer and all his team, shame. My 27.95 rental went to 45.00 rental in the end i got bill for 90 dollars
What can be improved it that, when a customer is only asking for an extra 2hrs on the uhaul to not charge them $50. Worst experience.
Understaffed. Waited on line 20 minutes to get my rental completed and then another 10 waiting for someone to come hook up my trailer.

Make sure the bed of the truck is clean.
The items in the bottom of my container were all water damaged. As was the bottom wood of the container. The only plausible explanation is the container was in standing water for an extended period of time as the water soaked up through the bottom plywood and up into my belongings. Black mold everywhere. So, thanks Uhaul for ruining the vast majority of my belongings. I'm so glad I paid $2k to then throw away almost everything. What a joke.

I was waiting on by Buffy. A delightful person to deal with. The young man who checked me in to my truck was most helpful, making sure I knew everything I needed to know. The employees are great!!!

people nice. ALWAYS a line, have to wait EVERY time in Florida. booking the truck was awesome. Very convenient. The storage unit i used had an air conditioning pipe running thru the ceiling. the floor was always wet. Luckily, i could leave that area clear. Also when I went to remove my stuff, they had locked me out and said the reason was I had to use a U-haul purchased lock. I will NEVER use U-haul again for anything until that changes. Your policy sucks!

I was charged for a storage that I was told by the manager that I would not have to pay the the storage that I was moved from and then I was charged for a dolly that I never received and also the manager told me that he would take care of and didn't. So I would never recommend this Uhaul or storage. HORRIBLE
My overall subpar experience at this location can be approved with a better hiring profile. The staff that I've had the most unfortunate interaction with, don't seem to have graduated high school or barely skated by. I understand various unpredictable emotions have been promoted due to the pandemic. However, basic friendly (even if it's fake) communication is so lacking with the staff I've interacted with handling my storage needs. When I first arrived to this location after a lovely drive from Dallas, Texas (with my 6' x 12' Van Trailer attached to my Kia Sportage - contract # 23023104), Alicia Mitchell made a clerical error with my return date. No biggie, it can be resolved and the $80 overcharge was later refunded. My contact person's name was entered incorrectly because Alicia didn't bother to confirm the information. I understand it can be slightly difficult to understand someone who's wearing a mask, if you don't care to try. I'm an epidemiologist and I work in hospitals where we communicate clearly with masks on, while tending to patients lives. She could have turned her screen for me to view the information and confirm its accuracy, or printed out a document to confirm with me but, that's the past. Again, no biggie, but she failed to confirm my access code number. That long drive from Dallas by myself was quite taxing. Here I am ready to unload all my stuff, just need to open the door. But here's Alicia complicating a simple procedure that kindergarteners can do with ease. The issue was later resolved. My last interaction with the staff at this location finally came September 4, 2020. Contract 788052-117382 for all the deets. I had the utmost displeasure to be served by Zaria Johnson. She asked how she could help me and for my name. She located me in her computer and asked me if I knew I had to be there by 12pm. I told her, "no, I just flew in". She replies, "oh you flew here, from where?". Perplexed, not understanding the relevance of this; I tell her "Virginia". She continues, "Oh well you were suppose to be here by 12pm". I chuckle while saying, "well I got here when I got here" and I shrugged my shoulders (It's about 3pm at the time). She directs me to where I can pull my car to, and I remind her (because paying attention is seemingly not a requirement in the hiring profile for the employees I interacted with), that I don't have a car, I have a unit here. Which she should have seen in her system when she located me, but Zaria doesn't do well with paying attention. If she had, she should have been able to conceptualized that I was emptying out unit 1313, transporting those items to the U-Box and moving it to Virginia. Subsequently, she would have informed me that once I empty out my storage unit, utilize that same lock to lock my U-Box when I'm finished. But! That didn't happen. I was not informed I needed to lock the U-Box. When she walked me and my brother to the U-box (after, I suppose, her attempt to chastising me for being "late", not sure - didn't ask didn't care, fresh off the plane and we had a full storage unit to empty; in the 90 degree heat as we walked to their garage, where Zaria showed us where the U-Box is), she removed the velcored tarp from the box, opened the box and said here you go and went back inside. No instructions. No "come back inside to check out or be sure to do this", nothing no instructions whatsoever. So when I received a voice message from the manager Michael Brown the following day - after I returned back home to Virginia, that my U-Box needed a lock, I just knew these mini property managers that work here do not have the proper hiring profile to do this job successfully. I will say that Michael Brown was very attentive and patient when listening to me about my experience with his staff. To remedy the issue with the lock, he provided a lock free of charge for the U-Box, and I made arrangements for the key to be delivered to me. I appreciate him for this and for acknowledging the bad customer service that he wasn't pleased to hear about. It should come as no surprise that I will never return to this location, and even though I live in Virginia, I will most definitely tell others not to come here - if they can avoid it.
Overall it was ok. Too expensive!. Customer Service needs to be revaluation, you have some good pearls, Andrew is a great Customer Service person, but they have some very young girls that aren’t good at all. They spend more time in there personal phone, & ignoring customers in line. It used to be a great place before,!
The Staff service was above and beyond, He was very helpful provided information and explained everything in detail, excellent customer service, very professional.

The unit was secure, but not well lit. There is no light in the unit. (2058) The entire staff was WONDERFUL!! The restroom was always clean. I point this out, because I've never seen a restroom THAT CLEAN at a storage facility...Thank You!😊👍
After dealing with so many rude people in DC over the past week it was so refreshing and appreciated to deal with Mr. Brown and his staff! Mr. Brown took his time to “tour” the facility and to show me how everything works . I couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks U-Haul Broward!

The unit was very small for all that money. I'm disappointed the door had problem from day one. They replaced the doors before I removed my stuff and I found a lamp shade of mine very dirty. Never using your storage facility again.

Everything was fantastic except for the parking. The lot felt completely overfull with trucks and trailers and often it would be difficult to park or even pass through the lot.

The parking lot is way too crowded. I had a drive up unit that was always blocked by Uhual equipment. It was very difficult to maneuver through the parking lot, in order to load and unload- I had to keep moving my car to allow people by. For the month rental, I may have actually driven up to my unit a total of two times. It’s just way too crowded and inconvenient for a unit to be priced for almost $200 a month.

I'm giving you a horrible review because of two employees there they did know how to do their job correctly as far as customer service it took me two and a half hours to get my truck because of them

I only have 2 less than positive comments: 1) It would have been nice if temps had been 76 or lower during the summer months. 2) Lights should stay on when customers are working in their unit.

The light nearest my storage unit was activated by motion. When I would visit my storage to remove/add items, I would have to stop frequently to activate the light. A non-motion light could fix this.

I was paying for on-site parking for my trailer and was damaged on 3 occasions and still they have not taken responsibility for it in Ft. Lauderdale.

The facility on Broward blvd was great. However, I rented a truck from the Hollywood blvd location and that was a bad experience. I was over charged and still haven't received money back yet.

1. When I arrived, I had to wait 30 mins to access my UBox. 2. The store closed at 5pm and moved my Ubox without telling me, even after I tried to explain that the UHaul email stated I had until 6pm.
This location was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Mike was very easy to work with and helpful. I'd rate this place 5 stars any day. Made my life easy.

I'm annoyed and amazed at how frustrating my UHaul experience was. When I called to schedule my move, they could not locate my pods or account information. They cost me money and time I didn't have.
I have been happy with my past rentals but as far the U-Box goes it could be better managed. For some reason the staff had issues with locating my U-Box each time i called to make some arrangement.

It was a rocky start but all I can say is Leslie at the Broward location was more then pleasant to work with!

I have mixed comments - The staff was amazing - When emptying my unit I found that there were roaches everywhere. I had to get rid of most of my things including my bed, staff hugged me when I cried.
