I live out of state and the last time I went there were rats feeces in the storage and you could hear the rats in the ceiling - I would not recommend this company

jose a | Overall ExperienceThere are several issues that management needs to know about. First of all, I found someone living in one of the rental units across from mine. This was a few years ago and management was quick to respond and they were not there the next time I visited my unit. My biggest complaint happened several years ago. I have rented from this facility for many years, at least 20 years. About 3 or 4 years ago, I tried to get into my unit and the lock had been changed. When I went to the office, they said that I must have lost my key. Finally, they realized that I had not been in my unit for several months and had entered my unit and changed the lock. What had happened was that the unit had flooded and caused a lot of damage to boxes sitting on the floor. I had to throw away many albums of memories. I did not try to get any monetary damages because they were mainly photographs, but still irreplaceable. I did not have rental insurance. I asked why they had never contacted me and they were calling a number that had been disconnected. They did not send me a letter or email. I would think if they were not able to contact me by a disconnected number, that they would have at least tried to email me or send me a letter and this information was in the computer. I had to throw many things away. I realize that a flood was not predictable, but I was upset that no one had tried to contact me. For the majority of the 20+ years that I rented from you, I was very pleased.

Zoleila D | Overall ExperienceThe people from U-Haul told me that a 9x10 storage unit would be suffice for a 15 ft totally loaded truck. I spoke to three people at U-Haul customer service and I spoke to one person at the storage facility who agreed that it would be enough room. In the end it wasn't enough room and I had to rent another storage unit. As a suggestion you all should put how many square feet Each truck could take as well as the total square footage of each storage unit so people have an idea using math if it will be adequate. Patrice was extremely helpful, professional, kind and courteous and provided excellent customer service! Please let her supervisor know

Was not described all the rules and had to deal with my storage being locked due to having the wrong lock on unknowingly because no one said it had to be a certain kind. When I moved out, no one processed it and I had to call and get it cleared up so that they wouldnt charge me hundreds for a unit I was no longer using.
